Vacation 2023

This condo was one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen had a good supply of cooking utensils and dishes.

Having some prior bad experiences with other properties and companies, we were apprehensive before arrival. The bed was extremely comfortable- quality mattress and bedding. Kitchen had high end appliances and washer/ dryer, furniture was beautiful and comfortable, all the quality you usually miss when you rent a beach condo was there! Quiet, far from pool noise. A few outlets were not functional and someone came to check immediately.

Bill, thank you for the review. I will pass along your recommendation about the boat lift to the owners. As for our door codes, they automatically expire at 10 am. If you had called us we could have unlocked it remotely for you to go back in and get what you had forgotten.

Comfortable Rental

We stayed at this property 4 days and as soon as we walked in we knew I was going to be great. Clean and kitchen fully equipped. They have plenty of good restaurants in driving distance. Our favorite was Tacky Jack and The Village Lawn.

Cleaning service

It was not cleaned properly. I see this in most rentals at Navy Cove. Check out time was at 10:00 but she got there at 9:00 and stood outside the door. She told me "no rush" but it still caused me to feel rushed. I left my garbage bags and DW tabs as a result of feeling pressured. Why would she stand outside for an hour?? She was probably supposed to be cleaning elsewhere. Cleaning companies need to be more supervised. Thanks.

Family get away

Beautiful view of the boats, very nice and quiet. Short drive to beach. We threw beach stuff in back of truck and parked at public access. Very easy even on a crowded weekend like July 4th. Room was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.

I am sorry for your experience with the phone conversation! Is it possible that you spoke with our answering service? We are not in the office until 9AM and that does not sound like any of the ladies here that answer the phones. Even if it was our answering service, this is unacceptable. Please give us a call and let us get to the bottom of this issue. We certainly need to know who you spoke with so we can take corrective measures. Great kick-off to 2018 Snapper Season!

Reviewer Comments: Sunset Properties was great to work with and the owner has a very nice, CLEAN, well decorated 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo overlooking the bay. It may be important for coffee drinkers to know that a Kuerig is available - no regular coffee pot. This condo is located on the first level of the west building and is located directly above the assigned boat slip - this is a great advantage. The appliances all seem to be relatively new, the beds seem new but somewhat hard, and the carpet also seems very new. The overall smell of the condo is very crisp and clean - not musty at all. This condo gets direct morning sun so you cannot sit on the deck for breakfast. It is obviously shaded and pleasant in the evening. The biggest issue we encountered was that the Navy Cove boat ramp is now padlocked and we did not have a key. Sunset Properties was unaware of this - the owner should provide a key. Overall, this is a very nice condo which has just recently been put on the rental market.
