Cozy Log Cabin, Mountain views, HOT TUB, & Fire Pit- accepting renters!

**We're grateful to share that our cabin is currently accepting rentals and was unharmed during Hurricane Helene. A portion of rental income will be donated through the end of the year to support local aid efforts in Western North Carolina.
**Cozy log cabin escape nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come enjoy the beauty of the Fall season and cool mountain temps. New Hot Tub on the wraparound back porch. Located in a private, gated community just a few minutes from town. Ready to accommodate 8 guests, this is the cabin you need for a peaceful mountain getaway. Stroll down the path to the outdoor fire pit in back. Inside is equipped with two full bathrooms and two bedrooms on three floors there is privacy to spare. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and shower while the downstairs bath has a beautiful stand up shower, double sinks and a handmade barn door. The master bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage to unpack your suitcase and stay awhile. The second loft bedroom has an open floor plan with a queen bed and a day bed with trundle. The sofa in living room pulls out to another double bed for 2 more guests.
In the kitchen, you will find everything you need for a home cooked meal including all updated stainless appliances, cookware and bakeware. The house is also laundry ready with a washer and dryer in the basement. Recently renovated and always being updated.
Located just 15 minutes from Boone, it is convenient to shopping, restaurants and Appalachian State University. We're also just 35 minutes from skiing at Sugar Mountain, and 45 minutes to Beech Mountain skiing. Come discover all the hidden gems these beautiful mountains have to offer! **Please note: our beautiful cabin is located on a dirt road. In the winter months, if there is inclement weather, you will need 4WD and/or chains to access it.

Relaxed time away

The rental process was smooth. The cabin was great for our time away. The owner was quick to respond and provided what we needed to enjoy the cabin. We loved the fireplace and had plenty of wood and perfect weather to enjoy the cozy space.

Loved our time at this mountain cabin! Great location convenient to fun local towns, hiking and other activities. Nicely decorated. Loved the deck and hot tub! Stephanie was very responsive in answering questions. Already making plans to return!

Great Getaway

Quiet location in the trees and about 15-20 minutes from Boone in one direction and Mountain City, TN in the other direction. Nice cabin with updated kitchen and master bath. Hot tub was awesome, although couldn’t find any external lights on that side of the house, so a little tricky in the dark. Master bed was super comfy. Lots of classic movies on DVD if you’re hanging out.

Cute Getaway

My husband and I spent the weekend in this cabin for my birthday. I wanted a quiet, no stress weekend. This place delivered. We never heard a peep out of any of the neighbors. The kitchen held everything my hubby needed to cook all weekend.

Our trip to dancing bear

Our stay at dancing Bear was OK. The kitchen needs new cooking utensils the toaster needs to be replaced dog friendly, but there’s really not a place to walk your dog. The kids didn’t have a place to toss the ball. And the dust from the road, so close to the cabin was really bad. The grill on the patio needs to be replaced cannot be used

The cabin was beautiful and well layer out. It was obvious that there had not been a deep clean. We got a message from the host that we were being charged because they found dog poop upstairs. We don’t have a dog nor did we use the upstairs!

Peaceful get-away

Cabin was well equipped and clean. Area is beautiful. It was perfect weekend get-away to take a breathe and get some relaxation in. Originally did not automatically receive entry codes, but owner was quickly responsive. We did have some issues with the gate at first, but luckily neighbors were there at the same time and were very helpful. It can be a bit touchy on exit, need to pull up just right. (No fault of the owner - just pointers for future vacationers). Have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, this one did not disappoint! I would absolutely recommend. Minor downside was the trash drop-off. Have always had checkout things to do, while gathering trash - placing nearby on same property, would typically be a part of that. Trash drop off location was within 5 miles of the cabin, but it was in the opposite direction of our travel (luckily have truck, so just put in bed and disposed of when returned home).

Privacy OK. Did not use hot tub. People who rent this cabin need to be advised that while they do provide bath towels, you need to bring your own washcloths. We had to go out and purchase some. Never rented a cabin where those weren’t provided — not a big deal, but rather unusual based on my past experiences.

Really enjoyed the cabin. Hot tub and fire pit was very nice. If we had any complaints it would be that the cabin is pet friendly but the only area to walk the dog the grass was about 2 foot high. Also the string lights walking down to the fire pit over half the bulbs were blown. Overall was a great stay would stay here again.

The house was cozy and location to Boone very convenient. We booked it especially to use the hot tub. When we arrived we noted it was foamier than usual and saw a used soap bar on its ledge. We contacted the owner who responded within one hour acknowledging the issue and saying they would send someone out. No one ever came and we never heard any follow up from the owners, despite reaching out. I have had much more responsive owners at other rentals when we ran into issues.

Anniversary Getaway

We stayed at this beautiful cabin in Zionville, NC for our first anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The peaceful mountain setting, cozy interior, and thoughtful touches made it feel like a true getaway. Everything was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and full of charm.
