The property is known as Dolphin Run Condos. My unit has been upgraded with new stainless steel ceramic top stove, granite top counters, a new king bed in the master bedroom and fresh painting with cheery ocean colors. You can sit on the balcony and watch the ocean waves and the boats going out and returning from the marina VIA Rudee's Inlet. At times you may see the dolphins running! For those who like fishing, you can fish right off the pier in Rudee's Inlet or go across the street and arrange a deep sea fishing expedition. While most will want to enjoy the beach, the property has an indoor pool that is kept at 84 degs. year round. The lobby is large and with an expansive view of the beach. Please view all the pictures. See #'s 35 and 36 of the Kiddie Park out front on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Great ocean view, bedrooms were clean and very large, extra beach toys and chairs if you needed anything. I also really appreciated the extra help with additional parking at the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views

The stay was great. Awesome views, perfect location and easy access to the beach. Only negative was there was still sand on the counters upon arrival but that’s all

Great location

The place was neat and everything we needed was included. Check in/out was very easy. You can’t beat the location- beachfront with a playground for kids! We would stay here again.

Overall the property was nice. Unfortunately the kitchen had ants in the dishwasher and some roaches. The Master bath also had roaches. The wifi info in the condo was incorrect and there was no info on the amenities of the facility. Also, the pool was closed when we were there.

Beach hopping

The view is amazing and the condo came with everything we could want. Howard always responded quickly. We had some travel snafus and Howard let us know that the condo would be there for us.

Howard and check in assistant Diana were very nice and helpful. Nice property with beautiful and peaceful oceanfront view. We also always had a friendly face greeting us in the lobby. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location

I've never stayed at the south end of the beach. It's so much quieter than the middle to upper area of the beach while still allowing for great walkability. The direct beach access is great.

VA beach

We enjoyed our first visit to VA beach. The location of this condo was IDEAL. Literally steps from the beach and the quiet end of the boardwalk but SO close and within walking distance to everything. Communication with Howard was excellent.

Relaxong stay

Great location and wonderful view. Nice to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well stocked with kitchen supplies. The owner was an excellent communicator and the Dolphin Run staff were extremely nice. Definitely a repeat location.

Wonderful property

This condo is waterfront with comfortable furnishings and all the extras to make your stay special. The owner and housekeeper were wonderful to work with and they went out of their way to be helpful. The indoor pool was a huge plus for a cool and breezy day. Love this area of Va Beach! So many fun activities and delicious restaurants near by.

Property is very nicely located at end of beach within walking distance to many things. Condo is well equipped and clean with a wonderful view. Quiet building and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Vacay at the dolph

The place was nice and in a great location. The only thing I would do a little better on is having enough towels in the room ahead of time for the number of guests. Also, the beach stuff that is provided could be updated. All in all I would recommend this place to stay!!

Really liked the layout of the condo. Nice kitchen and family space. Unfortunately, there was work being done on the balcony’s on the building so we didn’t get to spend much time outside. Otherwise, we had a nice stay.

Quick Weekend Get A Way

This is 2nd time staying in complex, but 1st time in this unit. The indoor pool and the wonderful playground on the beach nearby was great for our 4 year old grandson. Wee walked to places to eat and shop a block away sold milk and other items that were convenient, so never had to drive anywhere. It rained off and on and was cloudy the whole time, but we still enjoyed our stay.

Right on the beach with a great view of the ocean

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location right on the beach. Easy walking distance to several good restaurants including Chix on the Beach and Rockafeller's. The kitchen is updated and very nice. Other parts are a bit dated, but everything was clean and functional. Laundry is down the hall but really didn't inconvenienc us. Comfortably furnished with plenty of extra blankets. Perfect location on the boardwalk with great ocean views!

Great location on the beach

Spent a terrific Thanksgiving holiday here with my family. The condo has amazing ocean views with a balcony to drink your morning coffee. It is located on the southern end of the boardwalk and is convenient for restaurant dining/local shopping. The condo is spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. While the kitchen is on the small side, it has everything you need to cook your meals at home. The property owner is kind and helpful should you need anything.

The condo is clean, thoughtfully well equipped and comfortable. It is located at the less crowded end of the beach but within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Trolley stop is just outside the front door. Easy communication with the owner. I highly recommend renting this unit. Thanks so much! Our family had a great week and we are looking forward to returning next year.

VA beach condo

We enjoyed our visit to VA Beach. The condo was the right size for 5 adults. It is not an updated property; however, we spent most of our time exploring the area. Jessica and Howard were very responsive to emails/texts. Please note that 1 elevator is being serviced through May 2021; wait times are longer. Also, you are required to purchase property damage protection coverage (we paid $60); this cost is in addition to the rental fees or you can pay a refundable damage deposit $1500. Just know this going in.

Great stay!!

Had a great experience. Howard checked to make sure we received the check in and property info prior to our stay. Jessica was incredibly nice & patient even after getting stuck in traffic and not arriving to meet her until almost midnight. Instructions and information were very clear. The condo was clean and welcoming, beautiful ocean front view. Sliding door was a little hard to open which worked out great since our kids are 11 and under. Front desk staff on every shift was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was that there were no sheets for the pull out couch & there was only 1 towel per person but we made due. Overall it was a great experience, the kids loved the trash shoot!! Can't wait to come back!

Perfect location

The over all property was pretty great. They were in the middle of some cosmetic repairs but it wasn’t disruptive. The owner was very helpful in making sure we got to the right place with all the instructions necessary. My one grip was the check in process, the lady that checked us in was a little on the rude side when we tried to check in earlier than 4pm. The one lady I was in contact with said it would be fine to check in early while the lady that actually checked us in said it would be $75 early check in. Luckily it was waived because we were told it would be ok to come early. I’m not sure why anyone needs to wait to check in so late. But I feel like that is a bit ridiculous and $75 to check in early is also ridiculous. Also it’s $50 per day to park an addition car in their over flow lot which was not relayed to us prior to leaving for our getaway. All in all though it was a lovely stay.

Close to Richmond where I live. Can be there in 2 hours which makes it very convenient. Right on the ocean and boardwalk. Covered deck free parking space for owner or guests.

Living room balcony overlooking ocean and Rudee Inlet to watch the boats exit and enter and to frequently see the dolphins.
