The house was very spacious. Plenty of room for blow up mattresses if needed. Very clean and well kept. The king bed we slept in was in desperate need of a new mattress!! Totally worn out. It also doesn't have a regular coffee pot, so you need to know to bring Keirig coffee.

Beautiful Bears Landing

We've been having our family reunions here for years and when this large cabin opened up, we jumped at the chance to be right across from the Vaughn. All our family was in nearby cabins and we all gathered at Bears Landing on our first night there. It's absolutely beautiful and with 4 master suites and a loft bed it had room for all of us very comfortably. I highly recommend this cabin if you have a large group. Very spacious and a beautiful outdoor backyard with pool/hot tub and a fire pit along with plenty of fire wood, chairs and picnic tables and comfy seats inside as well.

Amazing Rental Cabin and Staff

I rented the Kistler and Vaughn cabins for my family on the occasion of my daughter’s wedding. The venue was in the same location as the cabins. The cabins and the wedding venue were stocked with a superb selection of kitchen tools, dishes and appliances. Even the the cabin’s living room had kiddie toys stowed away in an ottoman for my grand children. The condition of the cabins were excellent in terms of clean, well maintained and very responsive staff. I would suggest that a guide to setting the thermostat would be helpful. THe available sports and outdoor activities were great and equally well maintained. We will be back for another wonderful experience.

Siblings reunion 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bears Landing was a great option for 4 of the 5 siblings. We each had a bedroom with bath, and a 1/2 bath in kitchen/living area. And single sibling stayed in Manda Shae. Bears Landing is much nicer in person than pictures provided. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the hot tub in the evening after office was closed, but someone came and attended to the issue. We found out later this issue impacted the pool which was was cloudy our entire stay. We spent more time accessing kayaks and paddle boards than pool time. My brother did rescue a turtle from the pool. Wish the dining table was sat 6 comfortably and no extra chairs. Each bathroom had 1 towel rack and no hooks to hang 2nd wet towel. We are planning another trip to this property. Grounds are immaculate. We felt safe. We highly recommend this place to families.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a really great stay at Bear's Landing. One little hiccup was that one day we discovered a bat had flown into the upstairs bathroom. The bathroom fan had fallen, and it left just the right amount of space for a tiny bat to fly in. The maintenance guys came quickly to repair the fan, and no other incidents occurred during our stay. I would say that this house may not be the best for small kids as the stairs are really steep and are open between each step. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved being right across from the neighborhood amenities. I would highly recommend this cabin to families with older kids or teens.
