Heroes Hideaway is a 4 bedroom/4 bath home, with jacuzzi in master, that is tucked back onto 5 acres with private trails and wildlife serenity about 1/2 a mile from the waterfront.  This 3,300 square foot home is a perfect place for families and friends to gather.  Storage for boat/trailer located on site. Heroes Hideaway is located on Log Country Cove property and is property managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Fun getaway during a difficult time

SUPER CLEAN - Property is not brand new, but you don't notice because of the great surroundings - pool was heated and amazing - common areas were enjoyed by all.

Amazing place!

Fantastic weekend - very clean, spacious. Kids enjoyed the pool, pool table, and upstairs area where they could have their own space. In fact, kids asked “can we just move here?” That just about says it all!

Great Spot

This is a great property, we really enjoyed our stay. The only hiccup was that the listing on VRBO had the location pinpointed as Burnet, when the property is actually at the Log Country Cove. Not far though, so it all worked out.

Christmas get away

Only had issues one day. And of course you can't control the weather. Make sure you ask about paying for the propane if you want the pool heated out side of summer days. It was a very nice get away for Christmas

One girl accidentally left a pair of diamond earrings on a nightstand, and the staff at Log Country Cove went and found them and put them in the mail to her immediately! We are grateful to have this vacation paradise so close to home. We will definitely be back!

The management should pay attention to the small things. The TV's don't work. The sheets don't fit the beds. Extra blankets would have been nice. Needs a pantry. The home is beautiful.

The versatility allowed us to spend time together at the cabin enjoying the pool, outdoor activitives and meals together. The commons was close enough to take a picnic over and spend time with all the amenities there. We spent time on the boat, in the lake, on the rope swing, and at the playgrounds--beautiful setting! The property delivered everything the description listed, and any questions were answered quickly! We are excited to make this our annual family vacation and can't wait to go back next year!

Amenities are also good for multiple ages. The house was a good size but wish there would have been more information on exactly how many beds the house had. It said it slept 18 people but didn't say how many beds were available. It was difficult to have couples trying to find a space that was comfortable. We will call and get more informaton on the property before booking again.

All were immaculately clean - not even a spider web on the porches! Heroe's Hideaway was comfortable and fun, with a great kitchen and pool table in the living room. The ravine running beside the house was dry during our visit and provided fantastic boulder hopping walks and photo opportunities. The swimming pool offered welcome relief from the 100 degree heat. Along with the Common Area, near the lake, and all the fun activities, this place was a hit for all ages.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time here! We got married at Cedar Skies and stayed at Hero's Hideaway with our whole wedding party. It was the perfect location and the most fun time! The front desk manager did seem a little annoyed when we asked why the fridge wasn't working. Helpful tip: you have to pre-cool your product before placing it in the fridge! A sign on the fridge with that reminder may help future people from making the same mistake. The pull out couch was also broken, but we made do totally fine without it. We had some golf cart issues, but the maintenance staff was prompt in helping us out! We had a wonderful wedding and Hero's Hideaway was the perfect spot to celebrate with our crew! We would recommend Log Country Cove and Hero's Hideaway any day!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was nice and roomy. Entire outdoor deck was rotting. Rusty nails sticking out and my foot fell through a lose board. Pool was clean but hot tub had brownish water. All the chairs and bar chairs jnside were lose and wobbly. Stove didn’t work. Crock pot, can opener, and two toilet paper holders were broken. We had a fun time, but for the high price, everything should have been working. Would not stay at that cabin again. We will try another one next time because we love the resort.
