Leanin K is a 5 bedroom/3.5 bath that sleeps 18 people and has an open concept floor plan giving you plenty of room to enjoy each others company.  Leanin K has a large kitchen perfect for hosting a crowd of eighteen people.  Leanin K has a pool and hot tub with a large outdoor patio space.  This cabin is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of five star hospitality in the Kingsland area. Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Perfect getaway for a friends 40th Celebration

Everything about this property was amazing inside and out! All of the proper appointments were available and we really only needed our food, beverage and fun! The pool and hot tub were incredible, the covered patio area was so great to hang out and play games! We will be coming back!

Family Reunion

The only issues we had was the swimming pool and the trash can. My granddaughter fractured her leg on the steps (now has a cast on her leg-7 years old) that can not be seen very well...the bottom step is so steep my niece hurt her knew getting in the pool...I would recommend either painting the steps or put lighting on them so people see how deep the step is. The other issue we had was the trash can....1 small trash can for a house of 18....doesn't make any sense. There needs to be more trash cans around the house for that many people...and a bigger one in the kitchen.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place looked like it needed several things updated/fixed. The kitchen sink had NO HOT water.The huge windows made the entire home 15 degrees hotter in the evening. One of the top bedrooms was so hot, at least it had to additional fans (now we know why). The hot tub did not get very hot and the jets were nonexistent. There is no outside lighting in the back area where the pool is either. The pebble concrete all around the pool was scorching hot. It burned our feet, literally. There was absolutely no shade around the pool, so you just basted in the sun. It would have been nice to have umbrellas for the tables. Not worth the $7,000 rental fee. Won’t do it again.

We stayed at the Leaning K which is set atThe back of the property next to busy road. We didn’t like the location as well. The pool was fabulous and we used it constantly. The house was clean and well stocked but overall needs some updating greatly. Couches were leaning back and we were worried they would break. Just overall updates all over. Water pressure was very low in kitchen area. We had a few things that needed to be fixed while we were there and they were prompt to get those things done which we appreciate. Overall a very fun time. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

We would have loved an additional full bath to accommodate all the people who stayed. The only issue was low water pressure at times. The sun does come in through the large windows and heat up the place in the afternoon. Possibly darker tint or electric blinds to lower in the afternoon. The kitchen was a real bonus plus all the extra seating under pavilion. The pool amazing and we used the small pool as the baby pool for toddlers. The house was clean as well as the pool. I also liked the privacy we had during our stay. We will be back!

Fun Family Getaway

Very clean and spacious, comfortable beds, with plenty of kitchen utensils for any cooking you might want to do. Our favorite thing was the pool, nice size for all 14, plus a kiddie pool and hot tub with water falls! Plus, you have free access to a beach with kayaks and paddle boards. We also rented a pontoon for a 4 hour lake excursion. All in all, it was wonderful family time, and we will definitely be back!

The staff is always wonderful, but the house itself left much to be desired. It is in serious need of general maintenance and a thorough cleaning. We provided a list of some of the specifics when we checked out. We'll be staying at a different house next year.

Great Vacation

The home accommodated all of our kids and grandkids quite comfortably (there were 17 of us!). The entire complex was amazing. They had so many things that you could do/participate in for the kids and adults as well. We also rented one of their pontoon boats for 4 days and everyone had a great time tubing. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful with anything and everything we needed.I can't recommend this place enough!

The house is showing it’s age a bit. There was plenty of space for our large family and the ping pong table in the game room got a lot of use.The main living room is in bad need of some shades on the large glass windows. The sun beats down through them in the afternoon and is hard to escape. A fair amount of highway noise. The pool remote control was not working correctly. Couldn’t get the lights to turn on with it. No umbrellas at the pool so we don’t plan to stay in this house again. Some shade would have made a big difference in our stay.

Refreshing family vacation on LBJ Lake

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Leaning K for four nights and five days, the cabin is very spacious, we had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was set up with two refrigerators which we filled both with food easily. Although the Cabin was nice the large windows in the family room allowed so much sun in you couldn’t enjoy being inside during the daytime. It was hard to even cook in the kitchen because of the overpowering sunlight coming in. These windows must be tinted!!!

The cabin is located back off the main road and lends itself well to privacy from the other cabins on the property.The instructions for both the fireplace and the pool / hot tub left a little to be desired but once we figured them out, they were easy enough to use.While the contract is very clear about what the space provides, for the price I would have expected more amenities (soap, coffee, shampoo, etc) to be provided. The space was clean and the beds comfortable. The windows in the home are gorgeous.

Very roomy and well appointed. It is a beautiful and well cared for. The outside area is so nice. I only wish we would have had time to enjoy the pool!
