About this property

BEACH COMBER OCEANFRONT HOME GOLD BEACH OREGON

Beach Comber is a 3 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront home 50 feet from the beach with private access to the beach with the main floor being the second floor. We are located about 30 miles north of the OREGON/CALIFORNIA border on the southern Oregon coast. This home has hardwood floors and a large gourmet kitchen with tile counters. Fireplace, large west side deck with large windows for ocean and coastline views. Easy beach access over a low dune and a 3 mile long open and sandy beach with large off shore sea stacks, view whales, seals, sea lions and shore birds from the property and views north to the Cape Blanco light house 25 miles north and south 15 miles to Cape Sebastian.
The master suite has a king bed and private bath with shower. Sliding doors to the deck. Our second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom also has a queen and share a full bath with tub/shower. We have a full laundry, iron and supplies. There is a sun room off the second bedroom with access to the main deck and access to the deck from the living room and dining room. The home is fully furnished with all linens, bedding and towels down to the coffee and the tea bags. There is a gas BBQ and a wood burning deck fireplace.
The first floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and 2 single garages. Firewood is supplied
We have the ocean at our front door and the Coast Range mountains at our back door and great view in all directions.
Gold Beach is a small town OF 2,500 1 mile south with restaurants, shops, food stores and marina, JET BOAT tours upriver and FISHERMAN'S DIRECT a fresh fish, fresh crab at the port.
Year round fishing on the wild and scenic Rogue River or six others in the area. Ocean fishing charters available. Crabbing, clamming, beach combing and site seeing at your door.

Fabulous getaway

This was a lovely location for our family getaway! Great views for those days when it was rainy. Perfect beach access and lovely tide pools at low tide! Perfect sunroom for viewing the sunset on the days when it’s too chilly to be outside!

This property was exactly as they list it. The location is excellent as it is right on the beach with it's own private access. It is very well stocked. The owner David si very helpful and friendly and is very helpful if needed with questions. We loved staying in the house and would definitely stay again.

Cute house on the beach

One of the few houses on the Oregon coast that wasn’t butted right up next to another property. It could use a little TLC but, everything you need is there. And the view and the beach right there makes it worth the price.

The property is in a great location, but had some damage from a recent storm. It is also due for an annual 'deep cleaning' (we did some while we were there), and some upgrades - maybe a new kitchen countertop?The Property Manager was easy to work with and was immediately available when I called.We would stay there again.

Wonderful Location

We all had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect even though it was October. Everything in the house worked and was really nice and comfortable for my sister and I. The dogs had an especially great time. The location to the beach was such a treat for all of us. We definitely will come again. Thank you so much for all the thoughtful details in the house.

Beautiful location / right on ocean. Whales visited right in front of house. Basement bedroom has a musty smell so none of us chose to sleep downstairs. Other beds very comfortable.

We had an awesome stay in your lovely beach home. Access to the beach was super easy and awesome views from the home and back deck of the crashing waves and spectacular sunsets. The home was very well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay including firewood for the wood burning fireplace and everything needed to prepare gourmet meals. We will definitely be planning future visits to this lovely beach home.

Great beach property!

Very nice, very quiet and great access to the beach. However, the wooden stairs down to the beach could use some work, particularly the railings which had come loose. Made it a little difficult for us going down and back up, as we're in our 80s. Other than that it was perfect!

Excellent location with private beach access! Stunning view from the upper level with a nice deck for lounging. Enclosed sunroom off of main floor bedroom to enjoy view on windy days. Well supplied kitchen, towels & bedding. Lower bedroom usable but needs some TLC. Host was very accommodating & easy to reach. Highly recommend based on location & value for price!

Extended family trip

We had my two boys and pur parents at this home. The location for the beach was perfect, we couldnt have asked for better. We had 1 day that was rainy but the host had games amd cards so we made the most of it. Reply time for questions was slow sometimes, but we dis get a reply. We had a great time. The only thing i would suggest is a comcrete part to wash feet afyer the neach and better hand yowels in the kitchen.

Overall experience was great. Beds were comfortable. View was amazing. Some things were not as clean as we would have preferred in kitchen, but didn’t impact the overall experience. Coffee grinder didn’t work but a local coffee shop was able to grind our coffee for us. Appears the food chopper is missing parts.
