Our family absolutely loved the property; it was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, perfect amount of room, in a beautiful country-side environment, The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a family get-away (dishes, pots & pans, grill, and firepit) which we utilized for family fun. The host was beyond friendly and communicative. We saw lots of different wildlife there were deer, wild turkey, and others. We definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from the busy world.

Thank you for the kind words it really please us rest it.
Super clean. Host Timothy met us at the property and showed us around, and was easy to contact. Great place for a quiet getaway. Very comfortable beds. We only stayed a couple days while passing through the area, but I would love to go back and spend an entire week. And did I mention how clean everything is? Exactly as described. 5 stars across the board.
Property was nice and clean. The check-in process was nice and smooth. The owner of the property met us at the cabin during check in. Brought by some clean sheets and even joined me at the fire pit and talked cars and fishing.

Thank you for the nice review. I remember the extra towels. But not the sheets but I’m old. Glad. You enjoyed
My mother and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Peaceful and quiet was what we were looking for and what we found. Our host was attentive, but not intrusive. Very kind and easy to talk to. Great communication. The cabin was clean and comfortable, simplistic, but very charming. My mother said me booking it was the best idea I ever had. We enjoyed the screened in porch, hotdogs and s'mores on the campfire and our pets were safe and had lots of room both inside and out.
The cabin was really nice. I could live in it. A beautiful place to visit the host is very, very friendly, really nice guy. I would recommend it to anybody. We will come back
Very well kept inside and out, very peaceful! You can see the pride Tim takes in his property, it's lovely and he's a very friendly guy. We liked him a lot!The screened porch was awesome and we spent much time hanging out there with our dogs. The cabin is well furnished and comfortable, we felt right at home. We will be returning.
Tim was an excellent host and seems to enjoy being a host to others. The property is on the end of a dead end road which limits people going by the property. I was a little sad that patoka lake was not visible from the property. You are able to access Patoka Lake's hiking area within 30 minutes. Marengo Cave is an amazing tour, better than Indiana Caverns! Burton's Farmhouse was the best food I had while staying here. Finn's by Patoka Lake was the worst food. Maybe just don't get breadsticks or a sub there! Overall this was a great place to stay and explore southern Indiana and the Patoka Lake area!

Thank you for your in site to our world. We patoka lake is a core of engineer controlled lake.
The property was perfect. Every thing was clean and neat, fully furnished, good terrace. Host was also very friendly. Highly recommend visiting this place.
Property was as described, and reasonably priced. Cookware was much nicer quality than in some of my other rentals. Tim was communicative and pleasant.
Everything was clean. Quaint little cottage had just enough room to be comfortable. Loved the screened porch with the rocking chairs where we could sit, chat, read and watch the deer in the yard in the evening. Tim was so hospitable and enjoyed our chats. Our little dog loved the place, too, and liked being spoiled by him. We rented a small pontoon thru Gilligan's and spent a wonderful day on the water. Came back home very thankful for the wonderful getaway.
