Magnolia Haus - experience a beautiful, charming getaway at Canyon Lake!

Whether you're finding a home for the holidays or a summer retreat, the Magnolia Haus is for you! This perfect 1,800 square foot home accommodates up to 10 guests with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Head inside where you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting living space with unbelievable views via large windows, plenty of seating, and a wall-mounted TV. The living room also opens up to the back patio! The kitchen is a modern work of art with stainless steel appliances, cooking and dining essentials, and plenty of space. The island provides seating for 6. You'll also find a washer and dryer available for guest use.

Downstairs you'll find the 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king bed with stunning views, a wall-mounted HDTV, and an attached bathroom with double sinks and a tiled walk-in shower. The second downstairs bedroom features queen and twin bunk bed as well as a wall-mounted TV. The second bathroom features a shower/tub combo. But wait, there's more!

Head up the ladder to the first loft bedroom which includes a queen bed and a wall-mounted TV. The second loft bedroom also features a queen bed and wall-mounted TV.

Additionally, you'll find a nice covered back patio area with a gas grill, picnic area, and also a campfire space that is perfect for the whole family to gather around in the cool of the evening.

There is plenty to do around Magnolia Haus, but don't forget the home is also right around the corner from scenic Canyon Lake, and also a short drive to other local hotspots and points of interest, including Canyon Dam, Guadalupe River Tubing, Gruene Hall and Historic District, Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Downtown New Braunfels.

We loved our stay at Magnolia Haus! It was exactly as pictured, but even more peaceful and serene than you’d think. We loved seeing all of the deer near the home and met the fox others have mentioned!! Our kids are already asking when we can go back.

Great Outdoor Areas

The house is really nice, all the bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. The best part was all the outdoor seating areas, great for grilling and hanging out.

Tranquil little retreat

If you’re looking for a relaxing space to enjoy hanging out with your family this is it! The open concept and outdoor spaces allow for gathering but not feeling like we were on top of one another. Close to the lake and a short drive to float the River.

Beautiful Property!

I wish I could upload some of my photos as this is one of those properties that is actually better in person than the photo's they have posted. The outdoor areas were great, the indoor space was perfect for our family. We had our oldest daughter, her husband and new baby, teenage daughter and her boyfriend, the loft rooms were perfect for them and my wife and I. Just had a wonderful time and would stay there again for sure.

Amazing home

We had a wonderful weekend at this awesome house in Canyon Lake. We loved everything about the property, from the huge windows, all the space to relax both inside and outside and the attention to details in the home. There are deer everywhere, which was a blast to see! You will not be disappointed with your stay at this hill country get away!

A little getaway

My husband and I spent our Valentine's Day and Weekend at the Magnolia Haus and ended up staying another night! It was so quiet, romantic and plenty of room. Very well thought out concept and loved the backyard and scenery. Will definitely return soon.

Amazing Home

This home has it ALL! It's spacious, luxurious, great for families. The views are awesome and you've got so much privacy. The beds are SO comfy and yiu can't really hear anything between rooms so you'll sleep soundly even if others are still up. We loved sipping coffee on the back deck and watching the deer stroll through just after sunrise. My family was so sad to leave but we're excited to return again in the future.

Better than expected

We really enjoyed the stay at this property. It was well thought out with everyone having their own space and privacy. The design materials were high end yet comfortable. We loved the privacy and location of the property. Our only cons would be the dishwasher had a very strong smell and lots of lawn tools some dangerous laying around the property.

Great family getaway

We loved our stay in this cute cabin! The finishes were really beautiful and looked brand new. The house in basically full windows which is so wonderful. We saw deer the whole time we were there! The kitchen is large and well appointed. The beds and linens were comfortable. There are TVs in every room. My only comment would be that the upstairs loft rooms have very steep ladders. I had a teen so I felt ok but even a medium sized child could easily fall. Thankfully there is a big bunk room for those that shouldn’t access the lofts.

Beautiful Home, Very Relaxing

We drove out to Canyon Lake from Dallas just to get away for a while before Thanksgiving. The home is absolutely beautiful, exactly what you see in the pictures. They have all the cookware and utensils you need to cook your entire say. The home is beautifully decorated, and the outdoor living spaces are phenomenal. Our favorite part of the home was the massive sliding patio doors and the wrap-around windows. We lucked out and were staying there when the weather was absolutely perfect (60/70s) and mosquitos were all dead, so we were able to stay inside and watch football, but leave the doors open and listen/watch the deer roaming around the backyard. Fire pit was fun for Smores (bring your own firewood, they don't supply that), and the grill worked perfectly for grilling. The management company was super attentive and always kind and helpful. We will definitely be looking for a time next spring when we can return and enjoy the stay again. The only thing I would recommend for the homeowners if they wanted to upgrade anything would be the pillows and bed linens. When we stayed it was perfect weather, and the home was always in the 70s, but all 3 of our sons told us that they were a little chilly at night and needed a heavier blanket. They also complained of the pillows being a little on the too soft/lumpy side. I would agree, but we are all also used to Tempurpedic, so it was just an minor adjustment for us. I would recommend bringing your own pillow and maybe some extra blanket if you are used to having heavier linens/blankets/firmer pillows. But, that is literally the only advice I could give the owners to make our stay more comfortable. The home is absolutely stunning, it has everything you need to get away, and it is very secluded and quiet and has a view of the lake from the back yard. It is very hard to find a home this beautiful, this secluded, and on the lake for the price (I know because we look for homes with beautiful views/lake properties a lot). We would like to say thank you to the owners for offering up such a beautiful home for others to enjoy. It was a perfect stay for us. We hope that otters are able to enjoy this home as we did.
