This is the opportunity you've been waiting for! Bring the family and then some. This one off the ocean home has 6 bedrooms so plenty of room for all. Need a break from the beach located just steps away? Enter the backyard heated salt water pool tropical backyard oasis with Tiki bar, outdoor TV and more. This spacious home on a beautiful over sized lot with plenty of off street parking, has central A/C units. And you can escape the sun under the relaxing covered veranda. Of course you can also chill out on the upstairs porch with amazing ocean views.

Off Street parking for 6 cars, keyless entry, Wifi, cable, Outdoor Grill, 2 outdoor showers (one with hot and cold water, the other for rinsing sand before entering pool), Blender, Microwave, Coffee Maker, tea pot Central AC, Washer/Dryer. Two full kitchens. send your kids upstairs to prepare popcorn in the second floor kitchen while you and your friends are enjoying a relaxing dining experience downstairs. Each room has its own TV including first floor, second floor and loft as well as an outdoor flatscreen TV under the veranda.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! – If you are going to vacation “down the shore” you have to stay near the beach! This house is JUST STEPS to the beach. Stay Ocean block and walk to the beach without crossing any roads. In addition to being close to the beach, this house is close to the causeway so you don’t have to wait in “Island Traffic” when you want to come or go from LBI. Major chain store shopping, including Shop Rite, Wal Mart, BJ’s, Costco, Kohls, and MANY others are just 10 minutes away (on mainland). Want to stay local? No problem! Within a few blocks you have a CVS, 7 Eleven, Wawa, Seafood Market, Surf Shop, Arcade, Mini Golf, Ice Cream Pallor, Bike Rental, Shops and Restaurants including a Pancake House and the “Best Burgers” on LBI! Want to explore other parts of the Island? Barnegat light is just a 15 minute drive to the North and Beach Haven is just a 15 minute drive to the South. Don’t want to drive, take the LBI Shuttle just a block away! Try the LBI Shuttle App.

The pool opens at the end of April. It is a heated pool, but still takes time to warm up after the cold winter months. Water temps cannot be guaranteed in the early weeks of the season, due to outside air temps. Thanks for your understanding.

Perfect Thanksgiving Weekend

Our group of 9 adults had an amazing stay! There was plenty of room for all of us, with room to spare. The location was perfect! Everyone commented that their beds were super comfortable. Communicating with the hosts was very easy as was the check in/out process. Would love to stay here during the summer to take advantge of the beautiful outdoor spaces.

Lovely house and location

We stayed 3 amazing nights as we were in town for my son’s wedding. We needed a first floor bedroom with no stairs for my elderly parents. Also enough space for other adults to all get showers and ready in time for photography. The house was bright inside even with a cloudy day. The owners were very quick to respond via text and phone and very helpful.We enjoyed our stay. We were all saying the beach in January was not a bad idea after all. The house had its own private back yard oasis. I am sure this would be a great spot for a summer stay. Thanks again to Robin, Mike, and Lori for sharing their home with us.

Perfect Perfect Perfect

From start to finish of our booking Robin and Mike were wonderful. Quick response times, detailed emails with information and check lists. The property is amazing and perfect for kids big or small. We had 5 teenagers with us and plenty of room for everyone. Literally steps to the beach, back yard is amazing, cozy and relaxing to enjoy day or night. House is well maintained inside and out. Comfy furniture, great kitchen, well stocked with all that we needed for our week. No key locks are a great addition with teens in and out (no keys to lose). Easy on and off the island with plenty local shops and eateries within walking distance. Thank you Robin and Mike for having such a great setting to spend our week in Surf City! ;)

Great house, great location, awesome yard

The house was great, it was only 3 ppl + a dog here so much more space than we needed. Really didn’t need the second floor space, however the balconies and the light/bright feeling up there did have us going up to enjoy the space. Could not get a better walk to the beach, just a wide driveway separating you from the beach. It was our first time staying in surf city, if you’re going to fantasy island or the village over there it’s only a 15/20 minute drive so again not bad. The backyard was awesome, so much space for a large group. We used the pool everyday and it was great to not have to rely on the beach especially when the no-see-ums were out one day. There was definitely a lack of privacy in the yard from the other houses but I think that’s really all over on LBI so not much you can do there. Also the yard is fully gated which was a perk for our dog to roam free back there, his favorite was probably the balcony from the yard that he could ppl watch from. Overall if you’re considering this place do it we already discussed coming back with the larger family to enjoy.

It really is an oasis- everything we dreamed of!

We just spent a week at this amazing property and could not have had a better time! We are 3 families- my husband, toddler, and myself; my mom and sister; and my father-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law. The home was the perfect space for us. To start, the booking, check-in, and check out processes were smooth and simple. Communication was easy and the owner, Michael, gave us abundant information about the home and location. We had no issues and did not need to contact Michael but appreciated that he was readily available through email and phone. The home is well taken care of and stocked with everything we needed. The AC was comfortable and we enjoyed the abundant outdoor space. The backyard is beautiful- the photos don't quite do it justice. The pool area had plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and accessories for everyone in the family to enjoy. The beach is just steps away and there were chairs, umbrellas, etc. stocked in the garage for our use. We also enjoyed the coffee shop, yoga studio, and numerous restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance. The location is absolutely perfect! All in all, this place has everything you need for an enjoyable LBI vacation. We definitely plan to come back!

Annual Family Trip with lots of kids

We had a wonderful visit to Oasis by the Sea! The location was wonderful, literally steps from the walkway to the beach! The backyard pool area was fantastic for all ages and we made it a priority to be outside as much as possible. The inside of the home was a little choppy for the large size of our group (6 adults and 8 children) but we did make the sleeping arrangements work. Note: There is a spiral staircase connecting the futon bedroom (where the laundry is located) to the upstairs half of the home. Two bedrooms are located upstairs and then there is a lofted "bedroom" with a queen bed and two twin beds. There is no way to darken the sky lights and windows in the lofted area so just be aware if you are a stickler for light in bedrooms. The sun was shining in the loft area at 5:30 AM. The house is a bit worn, and definitely not a luxurious beach rental but it was comfortable and accommodating, especially with children. The upper floor has a great deck with a table, chairs, and umbrella, and you can relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. We’d visit again and hopefully soon! The owners were very easy to work with, clear communicators, and responded to our questions in a timely manner. Thank you Oasis by the Sea!

Great family house

This house was perfect for a family stay. We loved the outdoor area- the pool and slide were so much fun for the kids. The beach was literally steps away. Would definitely return.

Wonderful Fall Getaway

Fantastic experience. The house was beautiful, especially the backyard with heated pool with slide! Perfect for families with dogs…walks on the beach with our fur babies was a huge bonus! We had the best time here and would love to stay again! Highly recommend!

Renters Beware...

Amazing home with an exceptional location, but...I never received my security deposit back. What a helpless situation I was put in for things that shouldn't have prevented me from receiving all or at least the majority of my security deposit back. Supposedly, our group broke the front door (door was broken upon arrival). Another issue was we had a dog there for one night and paid the pet fee ahead of time. This pet visit was an issue for some reason. We held an alleged 'party' when the house sleeps 15-17 people. And, recyclable containers were nowhere near enough for a house that size. Lesson learned. Ensure a thorough joint inspection is conducted upon arrival & departure. Clarify the definition of 'party' in the contract (avoid absurdity). And don't bring any pets as even with a paid pet fee it was an issue. All in all I would recommend the house but would not recommend working with the property owner & VRBO. The headache that ensued wasn't worth it. Renters beware...

Ceremony by the Sea

The property was perfect to host our family for a small wedding ceremony on the beach. Two floors was perfect to entertain kids on one level and adults at night on the other level. Backyard was fun with the heated pool. Hosts worked with us on check-in flexibility which was nice. Very strict recycling policy on LBI for the house and lots of items to review upon checkin/out. Otherwise great stay!

This home was a great location and robin and Michael were very responsive . I would suggest the pool guy to come mid week since there’s a lot of sand that comes off the beach. Otherwise all was good.

Fantastic location and property

Incredible vacation!

This house suited our needs perfectly! The upper deck had a beautiful ocean view. The heated pool was amazing for all and the kids loved the slide. The outdoor furniture was incredibly comfortable and in excellent shape. The indoor furnishings were great as well. The beach was just steps away from the house which made it easy to come and go as we wished. Overall, a fantastic experience!!

Great for families

Amazing time at this property. Backyard truly is an oasis. Landlord labels drawers and cabinets making it easy to find everything. We would definitely rent again. Our only issue was the heated pool was not warm. The landlord was very responsive and even sent their pool guy over to check the heater. He said the heater was working but when we asked him to check the temperature he simply dipped his hand in the pool and said yup that’s 80 degrees alright. When we said don’t you want to get a thermometer he said he does that for a living and that’s 80 degrees. The lease did mention if outside air temperature was in 50s-60s the pool might be cold. But it was 80s every single day. Also we are all young and mobile but the spiral staircase is steep and narrow. If you have mobility issues make sure you get a room on main floor
