Bayfield- Charming Newly Remodeled Condo, Gateway to Apostles

This newly remodeled one bedroom upper level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 910613 and 1307489. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, BBQ, and a fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is a 2.3 mile bike or hike along the scenic Brownstone Trail overlooking the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior. Bayfield has a fresh fish market, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music on the roof top at the Inn, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trail and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

    The property is tucked within the dense cover of trees to give a little more feeeling of seclusion though not far off Highway 13 at all.Portside Bar and Restaurant is nearby and Bayfield is less than 3 miles away.Our Condo was clean and spacious enough for the two of us.The kitchen was clean, fully stocked with utensils, cookware, and dishes, and all appliances were clean and working.The owners were friendly and responsive.

    Nice little unit close to everything Bayfield and the area has to offer. No problems and a quiet area. Perfect for those playing hard in outdoor activities.

    Beautiful interior and very comfortable. Lockbox would not go back together so had to leave the key and lockbox cover inside when we left. Nice patio area overlooking a wooded area. Exterior was older and had steps to the upper level

    Stayed 4 nights in late July. Convenient location, close to Bayfield, Washburn, and the Apostle Islands National Seashore. Owners were very responsive to our concerns regarding the lack of a gas grill. The absence of a dishwasher may be a concern if you plan on cooking at the condo.

    The place was quite small, but adequate for the stay. The guests there had other people in with three black labradors that barked all the time. That was very annoying.

    I should have investigate further on the property before I chose this as not meant for elderly guests. It is located on the 2nd floor, with steep wooden stairs up, no grab bars in the tub area and would have appreciated a mirror and a chair in the bedroom and also a few hangers in the closet. The bed was very comfortable with great linens! We could not find the linens for the futon but they did have extra blankets that worked. It was clean, and good location to search out Bayfield and surrounding areas. Great spot for a younger guests. Nice areas to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

    Mark and I have been visiting the Apostle Islands for the past 15 years. We currently keep a sailboat in the Apostle Islands Marina. We fish, hike, sail, and mountain bike. The 22 Islands have so much to offer from light houses, sand beaches, hiking, swimming and berry picking.

    We bought this property because it is a resort style condo 2 miles from historic Bayfield. The property has a heated pool (open Mid June-August), full service marina, walking/biking trails and down hill/cross country skiing. It is nestled in the woods for down time after a full day of adventure. You can enjoy sitting by the fire pit, grilling out or just hang out on the deck.
