Our stsy was great. The house was clean and welcoming. Thd hot tub was ready to go and the perfect temp for thevwhole family.Beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the multiple living areas to rest and unwind. There was a huge yard and a basketball hoop outside to let the kids and our dog run and play. Would highly recommended to anyone visiting the Bayfield area and looking for a quiet spot outside the town. We would definitely stay again next time we visit the area.

We loved this place! It was clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, and you can see more stars in the night sky than I’ve ever seen in my life! The property is vast, quiet, and tranquil. It was easy to find and we had no problems at all. I would definitely stay here again. There were four bedrooms, so it easily could’ve fit 8 people.

Just likehome, only way way better!

Was not able to utilize everything this beautiful home had to offer. Wish we would have had more time there. The hot tub was a huge hit as it was still getting chilly at night. Loved the house, and all the flowers around the house. Had a fantastic time and hope to go back soon!

Wonderful Stay

Lovely property with lots of space, indoors and out. Quiet location with easy access to local attractions. House was well stocked with everything we could need and the hot tub felt great after a long day of exploring!

Great house

Fully stocked house with everything you need. Loved the hot tub and outdoor space. Check in/out was very easy and house was located minutes from bayfield and many fruit farms.

Great place to stay!

The property is beautiful and a lot to do. Hot tub, games, outdoor pavillion with grill, bags game, and a basketball hoop! Close to everything and cherry and apple picking are just down the road.

Wonderful!

Todd was a great person to rent from. A hiccup came up that almost can eked our stay but Todd worked through it to ensure we could still do our family weekend with extended family. The property is gorgeous and spacious and everything we needed was there! Would definitely stay again!

Winter Northwoods Getaway

Spacious, accommodating, wonderful location. We were minutes from cross country skiing. The home was well stocked, plenty of blankets and towels. The hot tub on the screened in porch felt wonderful after completing the 12K cross country ski event "Book Across The Bay"

Friend Getaway

There were 4 couples in our group & this home provided lots of space for us. The outdoor space was wonderful for yard games & cooking outdoors. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. This wasn't an issue for our group, but one of the bedrooms is on the lower level & there is no bathroom on that level. Close to the Fruit Loop & easy to get to downtown Bayfield. Beautiful setting & home.

80 years old ladies getaway

Outdoors was wonderful. Inside was not as clean as we expected and there was a very large fly infestation and they were larthagic or dead. Every time we left and came back there were more. There were 2 dead flies in one of the beds. There was bedding on the floors in the closets in all of the bedrooms. They should be in totes or zippered bags

Large house in the country

The grounds including hot tub and fire pit make this a nice place. The house is large with one bedroom in a finished basement. TVs in almost every room. WiFi was adequate. There is quite an assortment of deer heads and other trophies on some of the walls. The house is plenty large for ten people and the kitchen is very adequate. Overall, we enjoyed the place and it met our expectations and needs.

Beautiful home nestled in the northern woods. Lots of space! More than we needed. Needs a few updates. Was very warm and humid when we visited. 2 window air conditioners only cooled half the house. Outdoor space was great! Would definitely return

Pros & Cons

The rate for the house was very reasonable. Over all cleanliness was good. The hot tub was great. It was nice being so close to town. I was disappointed with the lack of response from the owner about questions prior to rental. Many of the outlets didn't work. A primary concern was sleeping in the basement without a window. We felt very unsafe and mislead about the number of accommodations. The downstairs with the king size bed is clearly not meant as a bedroom and I believe it is against state code. The pull out sofa is also downstairs. The wifi was strong but we had no cell service from all our different carriers which was not disclosed.

Would be 4 Star But The Flies

This wasn’t 2-3 flies but 200-300 flies. We sealed off all the bedrooms and slept on recliners in the game room where several times a day we went after masses of flies with the Shark vacuum to bring down the buzzing noise and try to keep our area as clean as possible. So we didn’t sleep in any of the 4 bedrooms or use the hot tub because there were flies everywhere. They weren’t outside nor were there flies at the neighbors property we visited. It was like numerous animals died under the elevated house and we got all the maggots hatching. Also, new cleaning crew per the host and they missed major items, toilet, food in the microwave, dirty dog dishes with food. Host’s response was “I do apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced. Rest assured, I will address the cleaning company that is responsible for the property. Again, they are new justice week, and we have had absolutely no problems in the past. As for the flies, it is that time of year and there’s not a lot we can do about them. We have the house and groans sprayed every spring and fall but we still have this issue yearly. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.” Then maybe don’t rent the property at this time of year. We don’t feel we got what we paid for.
