Conveniently located just 6.5 miles north of Washburn, and 7 miles from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands on a 47 acre parcel with beautiful woods and valley's, you will be secluded, yet minutes away from great shopping, and great restaurants in Bayfield and Washburn. Minutes drive or ATV ride directly to Lake Superior and excellent river trout fishing streams. Come see spectacular views/photograph wildlife right off the deck and relax in comfortable chairs. ATV/Snowmobile paradise located directly on the State Snowmobile and ATV Trail System at the end of the driveway. You are also very close to the Valhalla Cross Country ski trails and Mt. Ashwabay Ski Hill & Big Top Chautauqua. 4-Wheel drive is recommended in the winter due to increased snowfall at higher elevations. Exterior security cameras are in plain view and pointed at exterior doors/parking area. Air Conditioned.

Clean, Serene & Everything You Need

Property was SUPER clean. Location is great for getting to all hikes but tucked away for quiet at the end of the day. Information on how to work everything and get around as well as communication with the owner was great! Highly recommend this property.

ATV Family weekend

House was great. Comfortable, roomy, great supplies, and perfect location. We had 8 stay and we hit the ATV trails/routes directly from house every day. Also super close and convenient to Bayfield for the Apostle Island Cruise.

Wonderful location with so much room for 8 adults. Beautiful deck with awesome rocking Adirondack chairs to enjoy both evening and night vistas. Well stocked kitchen. Awesome place

Great Cabin

Really well equipped. Well-stocked kitchen, game table, towels, etc. Super clean! The grill had a nest in it, which wasn't ideal, but we were able to fix it. Everything else was fantastic!

Privacy, peace and quiet

This was our second stay at Valley Vista. It won't be our last. My only issue was the gypsy moth infestation this year. Last year we didn't see any evidence. This year the trees were denuded. There were hundreds of dead caterpillars and moths flying around. I wish there was some notification of the issue. We didn't know if some kind of chemical was used and if it was safe for baby's and dogs to be on the deck.

Beautiful cabin in the woods with everything you need

This is a beautiful cabin in a secluded location. It is very nicely decorated, clean, and is stocked with everything you need. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room. The beds in the 3 bedrooms are very comfortable, and it is really nice having 2 full baths. Just bring your food and beverages- everything else is there. You will absolutely love the view from the deck while sitting in very comfortable outdoor rocking chairs. It is very quiet, as there are no nearby neighbors. Kahron was great to work with and very responsive. Everything was very easy. She provided suggestions on hiking trails and things to do in the area during the reservation process, and there is a book full of material in the cabin when you arrive. She has thought of everything. We have a wonderful time, and we will definately stay here again.

Cameras Everywhere

The property is beautiful and in a really private location. With that comes poor WiFi connection, which is to be expected. What really bothered us was the number of cameras on the property. They are not just pointed at the entry door, but also the outdoor deck area, which is the main reason we rented the place. They also seemed to possibly reach into the sliding glass doors a little bit. We noticed there may be other cameras on the property, such as in a decorative eagle. I emailed the property owner to ask if they check cameras during guest’s stays. They did not reply. When I emailed them days later to ask for checkout instructions, they responded promptly. They never answered my question about checking the cameras, which made us very uncomfortable. I also noted that the gas grill only had two working burners.

The place was very beautiful. The view from the porch was more than words can explain. The way in there did make it a little challenging since we did get some rain but he did tell us to make sure we had a 4x4 vehicle. Everything else was great and no complaints

This rental property was perched on top of Mt. Valhalla near Washburn, WI, and it had a spectacular view. We loved sitting on the front porch and reading. The home was clean, quiet and well maintained. The host was very responsive. We came on a hot week so we appreciated the air conditioning upstairs and the air in the downstairs once we figured out how to use it. The location was good but the road to get to the home was gravel, sand and clay. It had rained quite a bit before we arrived so there were lots of ruts in the road which was difficult at times for our AWD vehicle. We loved how dog friendly the home was and the dogs also loved the porch. Thanks for hosting.

The Cabin/house is just as advertised. It was very clean and everything was in working order. Our dog did some damage to the lower bathroom door, the owner was very understanding and the resolution was fair.

What a beautiful place inside and out! Definitely one of the best we've stayed at! The drive in was a little rough because of the frozen dirt road, but it was worth it for the large private property where our dog loved roaming freely!
