The Pelican is a charming 2 bedroom 2 bath waterfront home that will sleep 5 people. It is the sister property to VRBO# 1106070 "The Crab Shack". The open floor plan allows for tons of sunlight. It has been newly renovated and decorated in a fun coastal beach theme. The master has a king size bed, private bath with large walk in shower and a walk in closet. The 2nd bedroom with adjacent bath offers a king size bed, a twin trundle bed and a walk in closet. There are 5 new flat screen tvs and free high speed internet.
The white kitchen is clean, modern and fully stocked with all the dishes and cookware that you will need. The basic pantry items including coffee are provided.
We provide paper products and laundry soap to get you started. There is a gas grill for your use.
The laundry area has a new washer and dryer for all those wet beach towels
There is a beautiful sun room with a wall of large glass sliders that allow the sunroom to be opened to the screened lanai. Enjoy your coffee watching the morning news on TV or breakfast on the screened lanai with a dining table and plenty of cozy seating. The lanai overlooks the canal, pool and huge travertine patio and game area. The backyard is fenced on 3 sides, plus it has a secure completely fenced safe pet area. There is a floating dock and some fishing poles for your use. You can cruise the canals or grass flats in the 2 kayaks that are provided. We have bikes for a ride around the quiet neighborhood or a quick trip to Public's grocery. The Pelican Place is located on a low traffic quiet street. The new large salt water pool has a huge sun shelf with a shade umbrella for lounging and kids play. Beach chairs and pool towels are provided. Heating the pool is optional. Beautiful lighting at night creates a tropical resort experience around the pool.
Free use of the pontoon boat for your entire stay. 70 horse motor, GPS, fish finder, depth meter. Boat US included if you break down or need assistance. You MUST have boating experience to use the boat.
Guests are required to purchase a $89.00 accidental damage protection policy that provides $3000.00 of protection of accidental damage to the house and boat. Our properties book up early so don't wait if this is the place you desire for your vacation.
All exterior doors and the dock are protected with security cameras.

An absolutely beautiful home! Communication prior to the stay was above and beyond. Being a landscaper I am in awe of the beauty around the home both front and back. The pontoon was a plus and we used it almost every day! The house was well-equipped. Being right on the water felt felt like a true tropical vacation and much needed. I would recommend this home if you want a fantastic get away! .

Beautiful Property

The house was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. We loved hanging out by the pool surrounded by the beautiful landscape. The kitchen is fully stocked and attention is paid to every detail, including comfy beds. Kim & Brenda are great hosts and very responsive. We didn't get to use the boat much due to the weather but we hope to return again in the future.

Great vacation

Beautiful home and pool. We loved it! We enjoyed the boat trip to the sand bar, used our paddle boards in the canal, and caught mangrove snapper off the dock. The owners are accommodating as well.

Perfect Family Getaway

The house was clean, well equipped , and cute with plenty of spaces for everyone to chill. The boat and easy access to the Sandbar and Anclote Key areas are what sold us on the rental. Brenda, Kim, and Eric were all fantastic! Thanks for a relaxing week!

I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Pelican Place was perfect. Impeccably clean, attentive landlords, well-stocked kitchen (we like to cook and bake on vacation), great pool area--and having a well-maintained pontoon boat to use took it over the top. New Port Richey is less "touristy" than other areas we'd previously stayed and easier to get around. Great location and property!

The perfect outdoor oasis

My family of 4 had the BEST time. The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were so comfy. Brenda and Kim have really thought of everything. We absolutely loved the pool area, especially with the lights at night. And taking the boat to Anclote Key was the highlight of the trip. This place has it all. We would definitely come back.

Oasis

We rented last minute when we decided to extend our Florida trip. Stumbled upon this beautiful home with a backyard oasis and ended up staying 10 days. We were not familiar with the area of Florida and had a great time exploring. We spent a lot of time in the pool and backyard however! Would love to go back, it is perfect! Very kind owners as well! I might add it was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in!

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I stayed here and we had the time of our lives. The house was just like in the photos and the description. It was stocked with everything you can think of. When we were there it rained a lot but luckily Brenda had thought of that and has a ton of great games on hand to play. The boat was wonderful and ran perfect. Communication was breeze and I felt like the owners really cared that we had a great time. We have stayed in the Gulf Harbors area several times before and this rental house is the best that we have stayed at. We will be staying there again!

Amazing

The house is great in so many ways... owners, pool, boat, comfort, etc. But I want to emphasize the small details that most other places ignore... coffee, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, detergent, etc. were all available. We have stayed in a dozen or so places through VRBO and the supplies were almost always bare, forcing you to buy supplies at the store that could last weeks. Not here! Paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, even coffee was provided and available. This was especially nice since it was just my wife and I traveling. We didn't use many supplies, but man was it so nice not to have to run to the store for simple things that are almost never included!

Absolutely wonderful.

This property exceeded all expectations. Very clean and comfortable. The back yard was beautiful from the tree's to the stone around the pool all the way to the boat walkway. We used the pontoon on several occasions and had no problems. The sandbar area is a must visit by boat. It was peaceful and the water was so relaxing. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

We vacationed at this home for a week at the beginning of August, with our teenage son. This house, yard, and boat are all amazing. Our teenager was never bored and fished from the dock. House is impeccably clean, very well appointed, and kitchen is well stocked and organized! The owners are responsive as well as the property manager. Highly recommend visiting Tarpon Springs, visit the Heritage Museum and Safford House, eat at Rusty Bellies, and get a treat and coffee from the Taste of Greece. Also, highly recommend Craft Street Kitchen in Trinity. We plan to return!

Wonderful stay!!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood but still close to everything. The house was spotless when we arrived. The pool area is gorgeous with so many extra features. Beds and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in any rental. The only negative I can think of was it was a little tricky to get the water temperature right in the shower but that could have been user error. Communication was wonderful. Would definitely rent from Brenda & Kim again!!

Paradise!

Our stay at The Pelican Place was nothing short of incredible. The beauty and meticulous attention to detail in their property left us in awe. Every possible need during our stay was thoughtfully anticipated and provided for. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary here made the week even more special. We spent countless hours enjoying the pool, enhanced by the provided rafts, and explored the canals daily in the pontoon boat. Discovering the sandbar turned out to be an unexpected highlight, revealing a stunning, hidden gem right in Florida. Evenings were equally delightful with more pool time and a few friendly games of cornhole. Dining out at local favorites like Whiskey Joe’s, Captain Jack’s, and our top pick, Rusty Bellies, added to the experience. The house itself is beautifully decorated, with each room thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is fully stocked and everything feels brand new. We loved every moment of our visit. Awesome experience

Super clean and very well stocked with anything you might forget to bring with you.(Including spices, beach gear, fishing gear, etc.)The whole rear of the house is incredibly landscaped with tropical plants and special lighting in and around the pool. The lanai is spacious and relaxing with it's own TV. Great for sipping coffee and catching a breeze. Neighborhood was quiet with friendly neighbors, but was convenient to anything you might want or need. Tarpon Springs was 15 minutes down the road if you like street shopping or great seafood. The boat was really great. It was well maintained and we had no problems. Visiting the sandbar or Anclote Key were very unique experiences the whole family enjoyed. We also did a lot of fishing and had great success. My 22 year old daughter brought in a 4 foot reef shark that she will never forget. Awesome experience at an awesome place. Would highly recommend for anyone who visits the area.

Amazing Stay

This house was amazing and perfect for a week of relaxation and fun. When you walk in the cleanliness of the house stands out right away along with the beautiful furnishings and decor throughout. The house is stocked with everything you need. The lanai and the waterfront backyard was the highlight of our stay. Never a reason to miss the beach, absolutely beautiful. Thank you Kim and Brenda for your kindness and availability when we called. We hope to enjoy your home again in the future.

Florida 2023

My family had the greatest vacation this year. The house is very nice and clean. the boat is super clean and runs great. We took it out every day to the sandbar to fish,swim and relax. There are so many local restaurants whit in 10mins of the house that were outstanding. In the evening we would all get in the pool and relax and talk about how much fun we had each day. The host were great to work with. My family ALL agree it would be real hard to find a vacation spot better than this. We give it a 10/10!!!

Lots of extras!

The house was very clean and well maintained. Everything was well stocked to get your stay started and everything you need for the beach and pool.kids really enjoyed the pool. My family also loved the boat and we spent time fishing, going to the sandbar, and snorkeling. The property owners were awesome to deal with very easy to get in touch with and ask any questions. The property manager was also very helpful with the boat and property and he answered lots of questions about the area for us too! We will definitely be staying again.

Perfect Vacation Home

I'm not going to lie, my family and I did not want to leave. The only thing missing was someone to serve the drinks. Between the full access boat, kayaks, and the pool, the family was never bored. The house is decorated beautifully with a beach theme, and the backyard is like a tropical resort. Great commication with the owners, house was spotless, and everything you need to have a perfect vacation was provided.

The quiet friendly neighborhood is a bonus.
