The nightly prices you see include the VRBO fee. The Pelican is a charming 2 bedroom 2 bath waterfront home that will sleep 5 people. It is the sister property to our other property VRBO# 1106070 "The Crab Shack". The open floor plan allows for tons of sunlight. It has been newly renovated and decorated in a fun coastal beach theme. The master has a king size bed, private bath with large walk in shower and a walk in closet. The 2nd bedroom with adjacent bath offers a king size bed, a twin trundle bed and a walk in closet. There are 5 new flat screen tvs and free high speed internet.
The new kitchen is clean, modern and fully stocked with all the dishes and cookware that you will need. The basic pantry items including coffee are provided.
We provide paper products and laundry soap to get you started. There is a gas grill for your use.
The laundry area has a new washer and dryer for all those wet beach towels
There is a beautiful sun room with a wall of large glass sliders that allow the sunroom to be opened to the screened lanai. Enjoy your coffee watching the morning news on TV or breakfast on the screened lanai with a dining table and plenty of cozy seating. The lanai overlooks the canal, pool and huge travertine patio and game area. The backyard is fenced on 3 sides, plus it has a secure completely fenced safe pet area. There is a floating dock and some fishing poles for your use. You can cruise the canals or grass flats in the 2 kayaks that are provided. We have bikes for a ride around the quiet neighborhood or a quick trip to Public's grocery. The Pelican Place is located on a low traffic quiet street. The large salt water pool has a huge sun shelf with a shade umbrella for lounging and kids play. Beach chairs and pool towels are provided. Heating the pool is optional. Beautiful lighting at night creates a tropical resort experience around the pool.
Free use of the pontoon boat for your entire stay. 70 horse motor, GPS, fish finder, depth meter. Boat US included if you break down or need assistance. You MUST have boating experience to use the boat.
Guests are required to purchase a $89.00 accidental damage protection policy that provides $3000.00 of protection of accidental damage to the house and boat. Our properties book up early so don't wait if this is the place you desire for your vacation.
All exterior doors and the dock are protected with security cameras.

Huge bonus as we are from WI and love to go fishing and we caught plenty of fish. 13 different species. Accommodations are an 11 out of 10. An absolutely beautiful home! Communication prior to the stay was above and beyond. Being a landscaper I am in awe of the beauty around the home both front and back. The pontoon was a plus and we used it almost every day! The house was well-equipped. Being right on the water felt felt like a true tropical vacation and much needed. I would recommend this home if you want a fantastic get away! .

Absolutely wonderful.

This property exceeded all expectations. Very clean and comfortable. The back yard was beautiful from the tree's to the stone around the pool all the way to the boat walkway. We used the pontoon on several occasions and had no problems. The sandbar area is a must visit by boat. It was peaceful and the water was so relaxing. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Beautiful Property

The house was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. We loved hanging out by the pool surrounded by the beautiful landscape. The kitchen is fully stocked and attention is paid to every detail, including comfy beds. Kim & Brenda are great hosts and very responsive. We didn't get to use the boat much due to the weather but we hope to return again in the future.

Great family vacations

The property was a great place for my family to get away before starting the new school year. We enjoyed taking the boat to the barrier islands for some fishing and walking the shore line looking for sea shell or just relaxing by the pool. We'd recommend it to our friends and would stay again.

Beautiful home and pool. We loved it! We enjoyed the boat trip to the sand bar, used our paddle boards in the canal, and caught mangrove snapper off the dock. The owners are accommodating as well.

Pelican Place was perfect. Impeccably clean, attentive landlords, well-stocked kitchen (we like to cook and bake on vacation), great pool area--and having a well-maintained pontoon boat to use took it over the top. New Port Richey is less "touristy" than other areas we'd previously stayed and easier to get around. Great location and property!

Highly recommended if planning to visit this area of Florida. 40- 50 minutes to Tampa and Clearwater activities. Close to gas station and grocery. Great seafood restaurant options nearby. House covers all vacation wants/ needs. Very good communication with owner.

It leads out to the new salt water pool surrounding by extensive landscaping and beautiful lighting. There is wildlife in the canal every day. Fully stocked kitchen with all the dishes spices and cookware you could need. Owners strive to make this property everything you could want in a vacation home. The quiet friendly neighborhood is a bonus.
