Updated 3BR/2BA Townhome Near Old Town Scottsdale

This 3br/2ba unit has everything you need to make your stay in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona a memorable one. It is a single story unit with everything located on the ground floor and no building/units above. The master bedroom features a king size bed, private bath, ample closet space and internet capable tv. The 2nd bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of room in the closet for your gear. The 3rd bedroom has twin bed that can be converted to a king bed.
Both bathrooms will have all the basics so you are ready for your stay, you just need your personal items.
Scottsdale is loaded with amazing restaurants (many of which also deliver through services such as Uber Eats), but should you decide to cook, the kitchen is ready for you. There is also a dining room next to the kitchen. The living room features a sectional sofa, chair and big screen tv that has both over the air HD channels and steaming capabilities. There is also a desk in the back of the living room should you need to do any work while you are here.
There are two large, covered parking spots behind the townhouse and parking is allowed on the street in front as well. There is a community pool and baskeball hoop located about 300 feet out the back of the townhouse. The pool is not heated, but the city of Scottsdale has several heated outdoor pools available year round for lap swimming. https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/sports/aquatics/
The covered patio is private and great for enjoying some quiet time at the end of the day. When you want some fresh air you can walk out the front door, take a left and in about 100 yards you will end up in Chaparral Park featuring a fishing lake, walking/running track, jungle gym and plenty of room for picnics or play.
The location is fantastic as you are secluded enough to enjoy some peace and quiet, but everything Scottsdale has to offer is literally just a few minutes away. It is less than 2 miles from the highway, so if you want to venture outside of Scottsdale, that is easy to do as well. The townhouse is less then 2 miles from Scottsdale Community College and just a 10 minute trip to Arizona State's main campus, so it's a great place to stay for college graduations as well.
The condo has wifi, heat/AC, a community pool and community basketball hoop as well.

Very convenient location

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean and pretty quiet condo in Scottsdale. It is very well located relative to what we wanted, i.e., access to old Scottsdale and proximity to golf courses and casinos. There is a very large park a short distance away, as well, and very convenient shopping (Walmart and Safeway).

Location was great. Close to the airport and the minor league stadiums we were visiting. There were troubles with the thermostat, shooting out hot air with it set at 65. Phil was very responsive and got it corrected in a timely manner. We are sports fans. Not being able to get ESPN was a big disappointment . Had difficulty getting the March Madness games on TBS. Had to go to CBS streaming which was hard to navigate. We loved the park which was just a block away. Overall it met our needs.

February Getaway

The location of Phil's townhouse worked great for us as it gave us easy acess to the bike paths. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes. The only food in the cupboards was some coffee and filters. Even a small salt and pepper shaker would have been helpful. I left the salt shaker behind that I purchased. The townhome was very clean throughout. It was also very private. Even the patio is all enclosed. The only thing Phil could not provide was warm weather. 50's and 60's for the month of February 2023. Still warmer than Wisconsin! Thanks, Phil. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was PERFECT for my Lil family of 6, I have kids ranging from 2 to 16 and it was kid friendly all around. Phil was VERY accommodating and very easy to get ahold of. We wound up getting there a Lil early and it wasn't a problem at all. We also decided to stay an extra day, and that too was an easy process. There is a very nice park within walking distance. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool as it wasn't warm enough, but we found other things to do. I have nothing bad to say about this place, the only hick up we had was it was 30 miles away from my daughter.... I thought it was closer. But 👍👍

We had a great stay at Phil's rental. Location was perfect for us. Everything we needed was there.. Full kitchen with silverware, dishes, glasses etc., 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, towels, linens. Parking was convenient, both on the street and behind the unit. Thank you!

My daughters and I had a great time in Scottsdale. We enjoyed the condo which was very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. My name is Phil and I moved to the valley of the sun in 2000 for graduate school after living in Ohio for 14 years. I will always be a Buckeye at heart, but I love it here in Scottsdale. My favorite part about having a vacation rental here is I know people are coming to visit and explore all the great things this city (and state) have to offer.
Not only do I live in Scottsdale, I teach math at Scottsdale Community College. This is a great area and I'm glad you are looking in to a visit out here. If you have any questions, let me know.

Why they chose this property

When I finished up grad school at ASU and started my job search, I was looking to stay in the Valley. I had visited Scottsdale Community College as a grad student and was very impressed by the campus and culture. I was fortunate enough to get offered a job there so I decided to relocate from Tempe to Scottsdale.
When my agent showed me the Vista townhome, i knew it was the right place. It had a great layout that maximized the space, a private back patio and the location was perfect. After a few years I moved into a house, but in the same neighborhood as I could not bear to leave haha.

What makes this property unique

I loved how close it was to everything. I can walk to the park in only a couple minutes and walk around the lake, go for a jog, or do any number of things with all the space. I can ride my bike to Old Town Scottsdale to go to a bar, eat at a restaurant, or go to a festival. I can ride my bike or grab a cheap Uber and head to a baseball game during spring training. There is so much to do within a 2 mile radius of this place, it's insane!
