Heated indoor swimming pool located on the ground floor. Fully air-conditioned house. 11 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms in total. Distributed as follows: - On the ground floor, a huge panoramic bedroom with a 200cm bed with private bathroom (shower, bath, bidet and toilet). On the first floor: - 5 large bedrooms with 180cm beds and each with a private bathroom - 2 large bedrooms with 180cm beds and sharing a large bathroom. - 1 dormitory room with 6 90cm bunk beds - 1 other dormitory room with 3 90cm bunk beds. - 1 shared bathroom with bath for the 2 dormitory rooms. On the second floor: an attic bedroom with private bathroom and Tropezian terrace with panoramic view. Conviviality guaranteed with a living room and a kitchen that can accommodate all the guests simultaneously. This is the ideal place to welcome a large family or to meet up with friends. This is our own family home that we rent out from time to time. You will find all our history inside: furniture, photos, souvenirs... It is not a soulless house designed and intended only for rental, which is why it gives it an irresistible charm! 2-hectare park with swimming pool, century-old trees and large lawns. Children's games (zip line, trampoline, rope, slide, fun course, swings, ping-pong, tree house, cross-country course ...). It is bordered by 5 hectares of vines belonging to the estate. The exterior of the house has a huge terrace equipped with outdoor lounges and a dining table that can accommodate all the tenants simultaneously. We have a private mini farm with donkeys, horses, llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, mouflons, cows, yaks, deer, chickens, ducks, geese. The animals walk along the fence through which you can pet them but for security reasons you will not be able to enter the park although all our animals are very little wild. The park is located about ten meters from the house, so the animals are an integral part of the decor! Total nature, immersion in the countryside. 10 minutes by taxi from the airport or from the train station. A deposit of €5000 is required before arrival. We have been renting our house for 10 years. We have just undertaken considerable work and after two years of hard work, our house will reopen for rental from April 2025. The work is not yet finished and that is why very few photos are available. Trust us, it will be magnificent!! Travellers will have access to all facilities, but cannot enter the animal park. Children's playground, 4.3m trampoline, 30m zip line (max. age 10 years), 3 swings, 1 large tree house, cross country and a mini zoo farm! Parties are not allowed and it is strictly forbidden to receive other people beyond those provided for in the reservation. Any violation of these rules results in the immediate nullity of the contract and thus the expulsion of all tenants without compensation for the remaining nights. A few days before arrival we give all the useful information to the tenants for their stay. Whether it is about our house, its environment or in relation to the medieval city. We also give a list with our favorite restaurants (which is very useful because there are very good ones but also very bad ones...). We are located in the countryside and in a quiet area. Only the moans of our donkeys can disturb! However, we are located only 200m as the crow flies from the city center but the Aude river forms a border between our property and the city. And there is no bridge there to cross it which allows us to have this privileged location close to everything but in peace and quiet. The first neighbors are located more than 100m from the edge of the property. The path to the medieval city is pedestrian. It is lit at night and is absolutely not dangerous. It is the same path that is taken by the customers of the campsite located right next to our house. For this reason this path is very busy and you will never find yourself alone there. House located 10 minutes by taxi from the train station or from the airport. Car rental possible at the airport (not at the train station). To get to the medieval city: 15 minutes on foot is enough by taking a pedestrian path. Or else 5 minutes by car. To get to the city center of Carcassonne: 20 minutes on foot is enough to get there by taking a pedestrian path. Or else 5 minutes by car. To go shopping in the supermarkets: 5 minutes by car. Our two Saint Bernard dogs will keep you company throughout your stay. They are extremely kind to adults and children. If the presence of our dogs is a problem for you, we can remove them on request a few days before your arrival. We feed our dogs as well as the animals in the park every day. We do this discreetly by passing through the back of the estate without being visible.
