Superb!

First, the host was excellent in every respect: responsive, helpful, and comprehensive communication. Our party of 3 adults stayed 4 nights in December in apartment BA3 - same location as BA1 but two floors above. Excellent location for Avenue de Champagne, restaurants, town centre and parking. Apartment was spacious and well appointed with everything we needed, beautifully clean and comfortably warm. Easy flexible check in with key box and check out. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Great location in Épernay

This apartment is really well located for a visit to Épernay. Walk to many shops, restaurants and the Avenue of Champagne, location of all the prestigious houses. It’s roomy and well equipped. One negative, the bathroom shower is a really small modular enclosure. Very important to us, the VRBO listing clearly indicates an elevator, which does not exist. The stairway to the the apartment is curved and very narrow. We could not have stayed there if Julian (host) had not been there to handle our luggage upon arrival and departure. The listing needs to be corrected.

Ander appartement dan geboekt

Het verblijf was dus in een ander appartement. En wel een etage hoger met minder voorzieningen. Er zou een lift zijn, die was er niet. En we werden een etage hoger ondergebracht dan geboekt. Groot probleem voor mij. Ik ben 74 en heb zwaar COPD. Elke keer die 36 treden op was killing! De beloofde föhn ontbrak ook. Tevens waren er naast het tweede tweepersoonsbed geen bedlampjes. Geen ramp, maar wel storend. Bij aankomst bleek het licht in de koelkast te branden, de thermostaat stond echter op 0 graden. Dat hadden we niet gelijk door, omdat we dat niet verwachtten. Verder was het appartement bij aankomst ijskoud. De radiatoren moesten nog open gedraaid. Al met al dus een tegenvaller. Ook een idee om betere info te verstrekken omtrent de accommodatie.

Bel appartement, bien aménagé. Calme malgré le bruit extérieur. Grande cuisine. Toutefois, nous avons eu un peu froid à notre arrivée, radiateurs à allumer plus tôt. Manque pas mal de prises de courant (elle sont toutes concentrées à un endroit !). Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Je recommande cet appartement.

Appartement doppelt vermietet, Alternativunterbringung in minderwertigem Hotel

Die gebuchte Ferienwohnung stand uns bei Ankunft nicht zur Verfügung, da sie tags zuvor anderweitig vermietet worden war. Der Mietpreis für den Aufenthalt von drei Nächten war vollständig 3 Monate im Voraus bezahlt worden! Statt in der Wohnung mit Selbstverpflegung wurden wir zunächst für eine Nacht auf Kosten der Vermieterin in einem minderwertigen Hotel (Schimmelbefall, deutlich geringerer Übernachtungspreis als in dem gebuchten Objekt) in der Nähe einquartiert. In diesem von Angehörigen der Vermieterin geführten Hotel waren – zufällig – zwei Zimmer mit 5 Schlafplätzen frei… Wir wurden von der Vermieterin von Tag zu Tag hingehalten; uns wurde erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen unsererseits mitgeteilt, wo wir unterkommen (2 Nächte in dem minderwertigen Hotel, 1 Nacht Ibis). Die Vermieterin bestätigte uns schriftlich, dass wir als "Wiedergutmachung" zumindest Frühstück im Ibis erhalten sollten. Diese schriftliche Zusage wurde nicht eingehalten, trotz mehrmaligem Anruf von unserer Seite, dem Ibis Epernay und dem Versuch die Vermeiterin schriftlich zu kontakieren. Der Gipfel: Die Vermieterin blockierte uns als wir uns schriftlich über den bisherigen Kommunikationskanal Whatsapp beschweren wollten und reagierte nicht auf Anrufe. Wir möchten zukünftige Mieter vor so einem Geschäftsgebahren warnen!

Vermieter sind sehr nett, Wohnung gut ausgestattet und absolut zentral. Wir haben unser langes Wochenende sehr genossen und können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

A wonderful stay in Epernay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Epernay apartment. It is perfectly located, close to the centre of town (yet peaceful and calm as its opposite a nice park) , spacious and very well equipped. The owners were super friendly and helpful, they couldn't have done more to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed it so much, we are planning to return next year!

Un très bon millésime!

Nous avons eu un séjour très agréable à Epernay dans un appartement très confortable et bien meublée, avec une décoration très élégant. Il est extrêmement bien placé près du centre de la ville avec beaucoup de très bons restaurants à proximité. Il est également très proche de l'Avenue de Champagne. Les perspectives sur les jardins Mairie est le plus attrayant et il serait possible de négliger le fait que vous êtes dans un centre-ville. Il y a un peu de bruit de la circulation, mais il est calme la nuit et le double vitrage est très efficace. Nous reviendrons certainement sur une future visite à Epernay et nous recommandons l'appartement à nos amis.
