Welcome to our cozy and secluded log cabin nestled in the heart of Snowshoe, West Virginia! This rustic retreat is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the natural beauty of the Appalachian Mountains.

As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating and a cozy fireplace, making it the perfect spot to curl up with a good book or enjoy a movie. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and more!

Our custom log cabin features four bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen-sized bed and its own unique charm. There's also a loft area with two twin beds, perfect for children or additional guests. You'll find two full bathrooms, one on each floor, each with a shower and bathtub.

One of the best features of our log cabin is its private outdoor space 5 acres. You'll love spending time on the large deck, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forest. There's even a hot tub where you can relax and unwind after a day of exploring.

Our cabin also has a game room in the basement, complete with a foosball table, arcade games, and a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Located just a short distance from some of Snowshoe's best attractions, including the
Snowshoe Ski Resort, hiking trails, and fishing spots. You'll find plenty of great restaurants, shops, and entertainment options just a few minutes' drive away.

The cabin has a filtered 1000 gal rain water catch system, so we do have to conserve water but also have a fresh water well on the property.

We take pride in providing our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We're always available to answer any questions you may have and offer recommendations on the best things to see and do in Snowshoe. We hope you'll choose our private log cabin for your next mountain getaway!

We loved the comfortable house- just the right kitchen items to make meals like home. The property is near enough to Cass State Park and Seneca State Forest. We enjoyed everything.

A lovely cabin nestled in the mountains close to Snowshoe resort. We stayed during the "off" season and quickly learned that there isn't much too do in the way of entertainment in the area. Luckily the cabin had arcade games, a hot tub, and a comfortable couch to binge Halloween movies. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals and bake. Our host was polite and responsive to questions. Highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway.

Great getaway in the woods

Stayed at the cabin with some friends for a long weekend and had a great time. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to be able to cook meals ourselves. The hot tub was an excellent way to unwind and relax each evening after exploring the surrounding areas. The natural beauty of West Virginia is incredible and the cabin is right in the heart of it. Awesome place!!

Perfect family getaway

One of our absolute favorite home rental experiences ever! The cabin was perfectly appointed to include excellent mattresses of varying levels of firmness. Every member of the family was able to sleep like Goldilocks in a bed that was “just right”. We would love to come back next time we’re stateside!

Family vacation

This was a great place for our family of 5 plus grand-dog. The game room is a LOAD of fun!! I had so many laughs with my son playing Foosball. The eat-in kitchen/family room is great for conversations while cooking and cleaning up. Water pressure is great and having a bathroom on each floor is very handy. The beds are incredibly comfortable.

Wonderful for ski trip

We came to stay for a ski trip. Cabin was immaculately clean, great amenities, quiet location, fun game room, good backyard hill for snow sledding, and good location for skiing. The host was incredibly helpful for helping us coordinate a few extra nights stay as our car had issues and needed to be towed to a shop a ways away. We hope to be back again! Excellent stay!

Ski Trip

We stayed at the cabin over NYE weekend and had a great time! The house is a 15-20 minute drive from the ski resort so we were able to ski each day that we were there. The cabin was very spacious and clean. Dennis was quick to respond each time we had a question. I would definitely recommend this rental to a friend.

Lovely WV retreat

Our family decided to spend spring break socially distanced in WV and we chose the perfect cabin within Pocahontas Co. WV. We were an easy drive to all the hikes we planned out for the week. The cabin was clean and well equipped; the hot tub and fire pit were just what we needed; and we all had fun in the game room/covered porch when the cold rain kept us inside for a day. Dennis was incredibly responsive and very thoughtful. Really great trip!

A stay in beautiful West Virginia

During your time at the cabin, we toured the Green Bank Science Center, rode the Cass Railroad and walked through the botanical garden. We ate dinner at the ski resort twice. After each event, it was great to be able to return to the cabin in the woods and continue to enjoy the beautiful environment. The cabin was very comfortable. Our almost 5 year-old grandson LOVED the video games, as did several of the older folks.
