About this property

This incredible home sits directly on a wide, sandy, private beach. Wake up to breathtaking sunrises over Long Island Sound. Perfect for relaxing with your family or enjoy fishing, kayaking, or paddle boarding right off the shore. Cook a great meal in the brand new kitchen or on the gas grill provided. Enjoy your your dinner on the deck while taking in the view of the moon glistening off the water. Minutes to downtown New Haven and Yale. The entire home has been completely remodeled including hardwood floors throughout, stainless appliances, brand new furniture, washer/dryer, off street parking, private deck with gas grill and propane provided. Linens, towels, kitchen essentials, beach chairs, beach towels, kayak, paddle board, umbrellas and beach toys included. Once again, THIS HOUSE SITS DIRECTLY ON THE SAND. This is one full floor within a two family home. The interior space includes a full kitchen, living room, full bathroom, three bedrooms. The exterior includes a private deck with outdoor dining area and lounge chairs plus your own private beach!
I like to tell guests in advance that this is an extremely quiet beach. The booking cost is for up to six people to stay in the house. There is a strict maximum of no more than 10 persons at the house at any given time. No parties, gatherings, or events are allowed. There is also a two car maximum. For the security of our travelers, and the home, front and rear entrances are monitored via security cameras.

Long weekend, beach house getaway

For those of you who are looking for a nice long weekend on the beach, I can't say enough about this property. You can build a weekend of events around New Haven / Fairfield County while enjoying the beach, sun and amazing sunsets at this house. Property was clean, quiet neighborhood, beach gear including paddle boards, kayaks, grill. Truly a great spot!

Perfect beach vacation!

The photos do not do this place justice! You really don’t have to leave the property to have a great time. The beach is literally outside the back door and everything you need to enjoy it including kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas and even kids toys is provided. Great fish market (Bud’s in Branford) and butcher (Shoreline prime meats) to grab grill provisions, but once you’re stocked up there’s no reason to go anywhere odd. The water is calm enough that we let our 4 and 7 year old play in it while we watched from the beach chairs. A perfect family getaway!

Great Beach Vacation

My family of 6 (wife, kids 5&7, and parents) stayed for a week. It was the perfect beach vacation on a private beach. We were there the week of July 4th and we had the beach to ourselves. We caught some fish, enjoyed swimming, and collected sea shells on our walks. The house was very clean and Heather was great to communicate with. The house had everything we needed, I took the kids on a couple of kayak rides and we grilled up the fish we caught on the deck. Lots of good dining options in the area as well.

The beach house experience

We are about 8 friends and old classmates from grad school almost 33 years back, got together to attend one of our friend’s daughter’s marriage in Connecticut. We were connecting with them after almost 2 years. Had time every day for beach walks and lot of talking and catching up with each other’s lives. This beach was an ideal place to stay comfortable and attend all the wedding functions for 3 days. It would have been nice to have one more full bathroom with another shower!! It was a fantastic experience!!

I am a realtor and property manager. I take great pride in hosting guests at incredibly beautiful locations as well as providing a spotless home for them. I am meticulous when it comes to the cleanliness of the homes. Everything is disinfected from the light switches, doorknobs, remotes, etc. Soft fabric such as ALL bedding, towels, etc. are laundered in between guests. All of the interior furniture is leather or wood and cleaned in between guests as well. I hope to host you soon!

The beach this house is located on is outstanding. You see the sunrise glistening off the water every morning. The wide, sandy, private beach is unlike any other in CT. The brilliant colors of the sunset each day is a breathtaking. The salt marsh with its array of birds is incredibly peaceful. No matter what time of day or what time of year you stay here mother nature is always at her finest. The house/beach is located in a quiet residential neighborhood.
