If you’re attending an event in Aurora (ours was a wedding at the Inns), this cute upstairs apartment is super convenient. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!
We were there for a long weekend and a wedding at the Inn of Aurora. The location cannot be beat with easy walking to all events. The host Jacci is great and very supportive and easy to work with. The place is clean, came well provisioned and tastefully regionally and historically designed.

All the best!
Jacci stopped in shortly after we arrived to provide us additional information on the property and to make sure we had everything we needed. Great stay at a great property!

Thank you for your review Irene! So nice to meet you and your husband! Hope to see you at the next Reunion!
The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept well. Location was private and quiet. The basket of goodies from the bakery was a nice surprise. Jacci was always available and very helpful. We look forward to another visit.

Thanks so much for writing this great review! We so look forward to welcoming you again! Have a great year! All the best!
We chose Jacci and Virgil’s apartment for a couple day retreat, and it was perfect for us! The location can’t be beat, on the Main Street in Aurora across from the lake and one of the many beautiful mansions in town. We took a two minute walk each day to the wonderful 1833 Kitchen or the Fargo Bar and Grill for great meals. A pretty spot for two, decorated with some sassy nods to McKenzie Childs (right down the road). Virgil and Jacci are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts who make the stay even easier. We plan to return!

Lovely Aurora Wedding Weekend
The apartment was clean and comfortable - a perfect private alternative to the prestigious Inns at Aurora. The host was texting us quite a bit, asking for arrival updates, while we were stuck in traffic driving out from Boston (~8hrs). Ultimately, we did not meet her in person (which was fine) - the check in, check out, and apartment information was finally provided via text and could have been provided via app message or email prior to the stay. Otherwise, an absolutely lovely experience, and I would absolutely stay here again if ever I return to Aurora.

Thanks for the review, William! We try to meet each guest to acquaint them with the Apartment and the area. We feel it is a benefit for guests to know firsthand what is around and happening, so sorry to have missed you! Glad you had a comfortable stay and hope to welcome you again!
My sisters and I enjoyed our stay at the little apartment, it was exactly as advertised, and even better! Jacci stocked the fridge with fresh juice, eggs and creme! Plus freshly ground coffee and a variety of teas were ready for us to enjoy. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we could have needed. The location was perfect for a variety of activities, we walked to Fargo and the Aurora Inn. We also took advantage of a sunset cruise with Bianconi Tours which included a history of the area - Matt was terrific! We grew up going to a family cottage down the road a ways in King Ferry, so this place has a special place in our heart. We are hoping to return next summer!

Thanks so much for your fabulous review! We certainly hope you will return and we look forward to it! Thanks for being a great guest!
The place was clean, great location, all the extras you want in a VRBO. Front porch and back patio were so nice in the evenings to play cards and relax. Beds were comfortable. The eggs, cream, muffins and drinks were amazing for breakfast, nice added touch.
My husband Virgil and I own this home and have lived here since 1990. We have hosted vacation rentals since 2011 and love welcoming guests and sharing the quaint and quixotic nature of Aurora. Our company is Aurora MainStays and we manage nine properties along Main Street all the way to Long Point State Park. Anything we can do for making a guests stay comfortable is what we are about. We look forward to hosting you!
