This wonderful cabin is nestled in a private resort setting with lake access. The cabin has been fully renovated. It contains many of the creature comforts many of us are used to having at home. You will find a full-size, up-to-date stainless steel stove and refrigerator, along with a front loading, full-size washer and dryer.

The cottage contains two bedrooms both with a spacious queen bed for all the relaxing you need. This cabin will comfortably sleep 4 adult guests. Relax on our cozy, couch while you watch TV or surf our free WiFi while you plan your next fun activity.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend on the lake with friends, while using our private beach with a boat ramp. Or grill out by our 50,000 gallon in ground pool and catch some rays while laying out by the poolside.

You will find my local attractions like one of Indiana's only drive-in movie theaters, Indiana Beach only a few miles away, a local cinema showing 2 movies, a bowling ally, fishing on Lake Freeman, and many more fun activities for you and your family to enjoy.

On the resort you will find: a private sand beachfront, boat slips to tie your boat off, a private boat ramp, grills and picnic tables by the lake and pool, a full-size park with slides, swings, and teeter-toters, a 50,000 gallon in ground pool with layout chairs and tables with umbrellas, free WiFi, and a private fire pit for roasting marshmallows while making delicious s'mores.

** You must be 25 years or older to rent this cabin. There is absolutely NO SMOKING in the cabin and we have a NO pet policy. Any smell of smoke inside the cabin will result in the forfeiture of your damage deposit. Please adhere to these rules to accommodate all owners and guests enjoying our beautiful, slice of paradise.

Please review our cancellation policy, which is adhered to strictly to accommodate all of our guests, who plan far ahead to enjoy their stay.

Linens & bath/kitchen towels are provided. You must bring your own beach/pool towels.

*Pool has a planned opening during the weekend of Memorial Day weather depending. Pool closing is TBD based on weather.

*Please note that lake levels have varied from time to time and are not under the control of lake owners.

We spend every Fathers Day at Lake Freeman but our growing family has outgrown the house we all stay in. The cottage was as described (newly remodeled) and exactly what we needed. Very clean and well stocked. Nick was quick to answer the couple questions I had. Highly recommend.

Great getaway on Parents Weekend

The house was perfect-clean and tidy. I wish it had a bench in the living for your feet or a drink. Also wish they had a toilet bowl brush. To eat there, you need to purchase everything! In previous houses there has been veggie oil, ketchup and left over condiments.

Thank you very much we appreciate the feedback and we want to make sure all our guest have a clear understanding of what they get when renting our cabin. The size of our cabin requires us to be creative with space and not clutter the living area. The toilet brush can be found under the bathroom sink. And we most definitely do not leave food or condiments from previous guests as that could create all sorts of issues. We try to be as responsive to our guests needs as possible and want to make sure everyone has a great stay. We are sorry that you felt like you didn’t have a 5 star stay.

In description says pool, trampoline, playground are included but few days prior to stay (with check in info email) we’re told we couldn’t swim or jump on trampoline. We could only use the playground due to insurance reasons but others were swimming which made my kids want to swim. It was a nice quiet place other than that.

We appreciate your feedback, however, it is not very accurate. In our cabin description and images, we never refer to or offer the use of a trampoline. Below you will find the portion of the "check-in info email" being referred too that all guests receive. "Just as a friendly reminder to our guests that the trampoline in the common area is off limits to renters due too insurance issues, as well as the interior of the pool house. We hope that you understand. " It appears that there was an issue with the interpretation of the email. This could be easily fixed via a phone call, which was initiated the day you arrived. When we spoke, I did ask if you had any questions. I also said that you could call us anytime for help. We take great pride in our Cabin and this is reflected in our reviews. Please understand the use of the pool is offered to all of our guests during the summer months. We do not allow people to use the trampoline in our neighbors yard and it is not in any of our advertisements.

Summer fun!!

We brought our 2 granddaughters and we really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our girls - the playground and the pool were perfect and we had lots of fun at the beach. We had everything we needed! The cottage is clean and comfy. We definitely hope to return.

Cute little red cabin

My husband & I had a great stay at this property. The cabin looked liked one of the nicer ones within the resort & has had some recent updates/renovations & modern decor added. It was very clean & well taken care of with a fire pit out back & a garden to one side. The resort had a pool with plenty of tables & a few grills & lounge chairs for guests. The cabin was located just a quick walk to stairs that took you down to the lake access for the resort that had beach chairs, grill, pavilion, & dock for guest use. It was very quiet throughout our stay & we had the place pretty much to ourselves. Nick was easy to work with & very quick to respond to any questions.

This place was amazing! The hosts, Nick and Amanda, were the absolute best. I had a few questions once we arrived, and Nick answered them within minutes. Our family has owned this beautiful and private resort for over 30 years now. Our cabin is wonderfully remodeled and very well-taken care of as it is our summer retreat.

Why they chose this property

Choosing our location gives you the best of many worlds. If you want a private day where you and your family can enjoy a nice campfire while grilling and cooking s'mores, this is the place. If you want a more exciting and entertaining day, we are less than a 10 minute drive from Indiana Beach. If you want to take your boat out on Lake Freeman for the day, we have a ramp, beachfront, and docks to accommodate you. The options are truly endless. And for those days when you just want to lounge, we have a pool that you can enjoy and catch some sun rays.

What makes this property unique

This is not like your typical hotel room, as you have a full kitchen, with up-to-date appliances. No need to worry if your neighbor in the room next door is up at odd hours of the day, because you have your own private unit.
