Stay at Casa Sonrisa in Santa Fe
First of all, and most importantly, we would stay at Casa Sonrisa again. It is very roomy with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen comes very well supplied with cooking utensils, spices, condiments, coffee, and all necessary appliances. There is a grill on the patio and furniture outside to enjoy the outside early spring weather. Downtown Santa Fe is only a five-minute walk. Taru supplied a full list of places to visit, like galleries and museums, restaurants and cafes, breweries and wineries, including a wine store and patio right across the street from our rental. The Railyard and Farmers' Market are short walks away. Public transportation is good. Buses run frequently, even on the weekends. The vast majority of storekeepers are dog-friendly. The property manager was easy to contact and responsive to our questions. There was off-street parking, though it was a little tight, but manageable. The dog park was within a mile and very large. Unfortunately, dog owners do not watch their pets as closely as they should, so if you go to The Ortiz, keep a sharp eye on your dog as well as other owners and dogs. Again, the next time we visit Santa Fe, we will want to rent Casa Sonrisa again.
