🏄 HOSSEGOR (5 min)
The surf capital of Europe. Ocean beaches (La Gravière, Les Estagnots, Le Penon), a saltwater lake just 500 m away that is perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking, traditional Landes-style villas, surf shops and great places to eat. International surf competitions draw crowds in the summer season.

🌊 CAPBRETON (5 min)
A real fishing port, with its fish auction, seafood restaurants and waterfront terraces overlooking the boats. Stroll along the pier at sunset, browse the covered market and boutiques, or try the casino. The Gouf de Capbreton, an underwater canyon, is what creates the area's powerful waves.

🚲 BY BIKE FROM THE HOUSE
Cycle paths, accessible right from the entrance of the neighbourhood, run through the pine forest to the beaches, the lake and the harbour. La Vélodyssée (EuroVelo 1) passes close by for longer rides. An ideal setting for families: you can get around without a car.

🦆 NATURE
Landes forest, dunes and streams, the Étang d'Orx nature reserve (bird watching), forest walks, and golf (Hossegor and Seignosse just a few minutes away).

- Bayonne (30 min): Sainte-Marie cathedral, cloister, old streets, chocolate, ham, Basque museum
- Biarritz (35 min): Rocher de la Vierge, Grande Plage, Cité de l'Océan, Les Halles market
