This property is located in the Coosawattee River Resort which means you are able to utilize the amenities of the resort including the Rec Center with indoor olympic size heated pool, exercise room, arcade room, tennis courts, basket ball courts, putt putt golf, picnic areas at various parks within the resort and the 3 outdoor swimming pools (during summer season) at no additional cost to you for authorized groups up to 8 people. Please note, it is out of control should one or any of these amenities not be available during your stay and there should be no expectation of any refunds should this occur. None of our properties are within walking distance to the rec center and depending on location, could be a 2 minute to 15 minute drive.

Deer River Retreat - with 2 king bedrooms located on separate floors, it makes for a perfect couples retreat. A great covered back porch overlooking the river provides a great place to sit, relax, listen and admire the waters of the Coosawattee. On a hot day take a dip in the cool mountain waters or grab your kayak or tube and explore what the river has to offer. Of course many a fisherman enjoy throwing their line in the waters hoping for "the big one". Whatever brings you to this cabin, you won't leave disappointed.

The living room hosts 2 sofa's, a 42" Flat Screen TV, DVD, gas log fireplace and views of the beautiful river. The king bedroom on the main level has back porch access, a jetted bath tub, a walk in shower and a 32" TV. The upstairs king bedroom has a 32" TV, a private bath with tub/shower combo and your own private balcony overlooking the river.

There is a spacious loft that has a brand new pool table, dart board, and board games for those looking to have some indoor fun.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans

Linens for each bed, (2) bath towels (1) hand towel (1) wash cloth per person listed on reservation, dressers or closets for clothing storage, central heat and air, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, telephone for local calls.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).

Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN ARE E-MAILED TO YOU 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IF YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH YOUR GUEST LIST AND WE HAVE RECEIVED A COPY OF YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE.

PLEASE NOTE: Last minute reservations (14 days prior to check in) will be required to check in at the Mountain Oasis office prior to 5pm, Mon-Fri unless previous arrangements are made in advance. Reservations made after 5pm for same day check in are NOT allowed.
