Amazing Waterfront Family Getaway with WiFi - on Orchard Island in Indian Lake

PLEASE NOTE:
November 1 through March 31 $100/day ONE MONTH MINIMUM. Contact owner for availability and arrangements.

With lake views from all rooms of this Orchard Island property located on the open water of Indian Lake. This two story was built in 1997. Fully furnished, including all appliances and washer and dryer, central air and gas heat. One boat dock is included on site. The lot includes shade trees and has plenty of seating along the cottage seawall with concrete deck the width of the large front yard in addition to the large lakefront porch. Just right for fishing and swimming. Fire pit and corn hole available. Garage will accommodate one car. Two cars can park in front of the garage and overflow is either across the street in front of the little white house or down the street.

Fantastic lakefront spot

We had a great time staying at the Amazing Waterfront Family Getaway. Very spacious and access to boat dock was fantastic. For sure will think about staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was super spacious, plenty of room for us and the kids to spread out. Being right on the water was awesome — we fished, swam, and just hung out by the dock. Loved that there were enough outdoor chairs for everyone, and the shade in the backyard was a lifesaver. Chris was great to work with and super quick to respond. When the fridge gave us trouble, he was on it right away and made sure we had what we needed. Overall, a great place to stay and we will definitely come back!

Long weekend family getaway

Relaxing weekend. Beautiful sunsets! Caught lots of fish the lake house had everything we needed. The property owner was nearby and very helpful.

Couldnt have asked for a better week

This house was perfect for our annual trip with family. There was 7 adults and 3 teenagers and there was more than enough rooms and beds for everyone plus a few empty beds to spare. The owner Chris provided everything we needed for the week and was a great host. He stopped in a few times to make sure we were dping ok and see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this place. We already discussed renting it again next year.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time on Orchard Island! Such a friendly area. Our trip was to see the eclipse and we were not disappointed. We would love to come back in the summer and actually use the lake! We were saddened by all the tornado damage in the area but Chris was so helpful about keeping us updated on the house and businesses in the area. We were happy to come and support the area.

The Perfect Place

Our family LOVED this house. It’s the perfect location and it’s very big, with plenty of space, beds, chairs, etc to accommodate a big family. The huge backyard with the big shade tree is so peaceful. The kids loved playing wiffle ball (home runs meant someone had to jump in and retrieve the ball from the lake!). There’s a large waterfront area to park your boat or swim. The fire pit with all of the chairs was a big plus. Even though the weather wasn’t great, we were able to catch a sunset from the backyard. The owner and his sister were both very accommodating and available when needed. The house has everything you need to be comfortable. And it’s located in the back of the neighborhood where it’s pretty quiet. Thank you Chris and Deb for sharing your family home. We will definitely be back again!

The home is very spacious and in a great location on the lake! The rooms were quiet and there were plenty of towels and paper products provided. We appreciated the use of the kayaks. There were lots of bumpers along the seawall where we tied up our boat. Plenty of chairs outside, although weathered. Our weather was too cool for swimming but great for fires in the firepit, beautiful sunsets and great star gazing. Easy walk to Fox Island park.

Great Weekend

Last blast of the summer with Ring of Fire! The rain on Saturday kept us in with plenty of room to play Uno and games with the whole gang. Would definitely stay at Chris's home again with Family size.
