About this property

Beautiful 1200 sq feet, three bedroom Cottage at LaCasa resort gated community. **Brand new AC unit just installed in 2023** One bedroom with a queen bed and its own bathroom on the entrance level, two bedrooms- one with a queen bed and a deck attached , and another with two sets of twin bunk beds**(note:the TOP BUNKS are for CHILDREN ONLY)**. This cottage has four amazing decks to enjoy the Kelowna weather on. Sunshine in the morning on the back upper or lower decks with a view of lake Okanagan, and a beautiful sunset view on the front upper and lower level decks!

The cottage is 30 minutes to Kelowna and 30 minutes to vernon.

Fully furnished , AC , WIFI, Cable . Boat launch. Comes stocked with body wash, and shampoo if you need it.

The cottage is a two minute walk from the upper level pool, that has plenty of seating and a hot tub. Across the street is a forest great for nature walks. There is ATV and dirt bike access just outside the main entrance of LaCasa. The middle level has a pool, two hot tubs, a park, mini golf (equipment is all there), beach volley ball , two tennis courts, a general store which has a restaurant and cafe, yes they sell alcohol there. The lower level has beach access, although it is a bit rocky, for when you want to take a swim in the lake or put your boat in the water.

Fintry is a five minute drive away, it also has a nice beach and a boat launch.

We were underwhelmed by the quality of bedding and towels. The kitchen was minimally and cheaply equipped ! Definitely not good quality interior. Doable for a summer holiday. AC did not work well and house temp stayed above 26C

Need some lovin.

Host was great with answers. The area was great view awesome. I think we should have been told about no air conditioning. Was HOT. Ceiling fans in rooms are resonably priced and helpful. We’ve the same heat pump as what was at our unit. Ours froze last year but the fan still worked I believe it must have been that way for awhile cause there was an air conditioner out living room window. The flatware needs upgrading. I’m just giving some suggestions. Would be a nice place for people if some tlc was given to it. Exepensive tlc isn’t needed. Hope you get your air fixed up. Debbie and family.

Lovely place for a vacation

Pros: -great communication with host - good location (top pool is the best!) - wonderful views Cons: -the a/c is horrible. We had very sweaty nights -very cheap bedding (dollar store or Walmart cheap stuff) -overpriced for what the unit contains We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back to this resort again. The upper pool is amazing. It is a remote location, so either buy groceries before you arrive or arrange online delivery. The host could do with providing updated bedding (e.g. decent pillows, sheets, duvets) and cleaning supplies (we bought and left a broom to replace the sad dustpan and brush from the dollar store). They should also update the a/c. Bring your own tennis rackets and mini golf clubs as these are not included in the rental (the resort store sells at a substantive overprice).
