Relaxing stay

We stayed here for our trip to the Rugby World Cup quarter finals. Despite a language barrier, Isabelle was extremely welcoming and we were able to understand each other. She gave us a thorough tour of the property and made us feel very welcome. The property is beautiful and has everything you could need during your stay. There is a fabulous bakery just up the road which we visited often. We visited Cassis, Marseilles, Aix-en-Provence, a local vineyard and the nearby mountains. This was our first time in France (other than Paris) and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Exceptional house, wonderful base to discover Marseille and the Calanques

This is an exceptionally beautiful house located within very easy reach of Marseille and Cassis but feels wonderfully remote. It’s probably not for you if you want to be able to walk to restaurants/shops; but there is an incredible local world to discover if you are happy using your car or public transport! The house is very well equipped and the internal and external spaces are absolutely stunning. All rooms had effective air conditioning. Isabelle the owner is really lovely and was great with communication. The pool was delightful and much loved by our children particularly. There’s also bikes and table tennis, and many great spots for hide and seek! The gardens were well kept and we loved the view of the mountains too. We did day trips most days, as tempting as it was to stay in the beautiful house and grounds. We spent 3 days discovering key sites in Marseille, and another 3 discovering Cassis and the Calanques (by boat and on foot), Aix-en-Provence, spent beach days at Plage du Verdon (Martigues) and the Prado beaches of Marseille, sampled traditional bouillabaisse in Les Goudes and fine dined in Cassis at the Villa Madie brasserie. Such a wonderful fortnight filled with city culture, history, stunning natural beauty, and sunshine. There’s much more we could have enjoyed in this region, two weeks was not enough for us! We are already planning for our return.

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in diesem schönen, gepflegten Anwesen.Isabelle hat uns freundlich und unkompliziert empfangen und uns alles Wichtige gezeigt und erklärt. Haus und Garten bieten viele schöne Ecken und Rückzugsorte, die Einrichtungs und Ausstattung ist wertig und vollständig. Sogar zwei funktionierende Fahrräder und ein ordentlicher Tischtennistisch waren vorhanden. In der Nähe kleines Zentrum u.a. mit Bäcker, Konditor und Metzger. Innenstadt von Marseille mit dem Auto und Cassis jeweils in ca. 25 Min. zu erreichen.Wir waren begeistert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Super Haus in optimaler Lage mit freundlichen Gastgebern!

Wir haben als Familie einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Isabelles Haus verbracht und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.Die Begrüßung durch Isabelle und Philippe verlief sehr herzlich und sie haben sich vielZeit genommen uns alles zu zeigen, so dass keine Fragen offen blieben. Auch die Abreise verlief völlig unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt in einem Vorort vom Marseille, in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Man kann mit dem Auto wirklich alle schönen Orte oder die Strände sehr schnell erreichen und tolle Ausflüge machen. Das Haus, der schöne Garten und der Pool befinden sich in einem tadellosen Zustand und wir haben es geliebt auf der Terrasse unter den großen Bäumen zu entspannen oder zu baden. Wir können das Haus und die Gastgeber absolut empfehlen!

Het huis is prachtig ingericht en schoon. Isabelle heeft ons vriendelijk ontvangen en enthousiast vertelt over haar huis. We kwamen pas heel laat aan maar gelukkig kon Isabelle ons nog ontvangen. We hebben genoten van het huis en de omgeving. Bakker en slager om de hoek en gezellig restaurant. Buiten is het heerlijk vertoeven op de verschillende plekjes en in het zwembad. Een echte aanrader.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison, la piscine et le jardin qui les entoure sont très accueillants et nous ont offert des vacances très reposantes. Tout est très bien entretenu, Le quartier est très calme La situation est idéale pour vadrouiller dans la région Isabelle la propriétaire est charmante et au petit soin. Not al to easy to find, but everything is worth it! Beautiful house and garden with large swimming pool. Super facilities with big bbq, bicycles, washing machine, coffee machine , double showers and bathtub. Central location between marseilles, aix en provence and the callangues and cassis. Nearby bakery and buchery in reach of walking or cycling distance .

Sehr schönes Haus mit umfangreichem Gelände

Das Haus liegt ca. 30 min von Cassis und von Marseille entfernt. Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Metzger sind mit dem vorhandenen Fahrrad gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist auf einem eingezäuntem Grundstück, was für eine perfekte Privatsphäre sorgt. Der Pool ist auch sehr sauber und das Haus ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet. Es war super schöner Urlaub.

Fabulous Holiday

The villa, gardens and swimming pool were fabulous. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked and air conditioning was excellent which is important at that time of year. Isabelle was a great host and welcomed us on our arrival. The plot was fully dog proofed which was very important for us. We would thoroughly recommend this villa to future renters.

Isabelle is very accommodating-giving us recommendation of butcher shop and bakery close by. We especially enjoyed the outside area-pool and patio area. We grilled out several times. Highly recommend this property.
