Cozy cabin
This is a fantastic cabin for up to 4ish people with all amenities you need in place. Almost everything there is of solid wood which we really liked. Great mountain views, very secluded, very quiet area. The host seemed always available to respond. We only wished it was warmer when we arrived: inside temperature was 51 F, reaching upper 60's in the next three hours and we could not feel as welcome after our long drive. Outside temperature was in the single digits. Also, we do not have pets and seeing a little pet hair left on the washed towels (probably unavoidable), was a bit off-putting. Nevertheless, it was great staying in this cabin. We would do it again, but will be more proactive with the host/s. Thank you.

Beautiful and cozy cabin!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is smaller but exactly what we were looking for when we booked. It’s cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway. Samantha was easy to work with and responded quickly to our concerns. Thank you

We are a family of four and our puppy makes five. We are from San Antonio, Texas originally. While in Colorado on business we fell in love with the area. After years of visiting we decided to build our own little get away in the mountain. My husband built all the inside of this cabin as well as the outside shed and chapel. My husband and I wanted to move to Florissant for one year. Our ten year old daughter said she would do it IF Dad builds me a chapel. Well, she got her chapel.

Why they chose this property

Quiet and great views on this hill top. You can see Pikes peak thru the trees or on small walks around the property. Quiet area with mule deer, birds, fox, bear and other animals.

What makes this property unique

Quiet, mountain views and wildlife, Porcelina's Chapel is accessible for those who would like to say a little prayer.
