Perfect Maui stay

This is our favorite unit at the Mahana, and we hope to come back here in the future. The views are unbeatable, we love that we can hear the sound of the ocean waves, and it is well stocked. The condos are in a very convenient location, close to many beautiful beaches and great restaurants. The managers were very responsive and helpful with our needs. It is nice to have air-conditioning during the hotter months.

Best Condo!

We had the best time staying at this Condo. Spectacular views, whales visible from Lanai everyday, Turtles right under the balcony and amazing sunset views. Condo was well equipped with reclining chairs, comfortable beds and AC. The property is well maintained and property managers kept in touch to ensure we have everything we need. I was worried about the comforters as I didnt like the prints in the picture, but gladly they were nice white sheets and upgraded furniture! Kitchen lacked some basic stuff like coffee, sugar, oil, ziplog, foil paper - which was no big deal but if you plan in cooking in the condo you have to buy all these little items on your own. We had no complaints and struggled to leave the place. We will definitely be coming back to MAH-419 again!

Wonderful Property - with Fantastic Views

So everything about the property was as advertised. Clean and nicely furnished. The view was absolutely perfect. Best view of any place I have ever stayed. So close to the water you feel like you are on a cruise ship - and sunsets every night directly out from your patio.

Room 419 is just the perfect height above sea level to give a wide expanse of ocean to view wildlife and weather events but still be able to hear the sound of waves breaking on the shore. The condo was clean, and comfortable and everything was as advertised. I would highly recommend this corner condo to anyone looking to spend time exploring Maui, or just kicking back and relaxing with the stunning view and beach access.

Room/Condo was great. Construction was supposed to be completed, so that was a bit of an issue

Condo unit was nice, well kept. Property overall was under remodeling, hence the noise and lack of hot water was a bit of an issue the first few days there. Overall good experience, but remodeling should have been advertised before hand.

Stunning stay at amazing location!

Look no further than Mahana 419! My family and I had an excellent stay here. I've been to Maui several times and this is the place I would recommend to anyone and absolutely will be visiting again. The location is perfect - you can walk to a grocery store, many restaurants, and some shops. Driving to anywhere on the west side of Maui is just a short trip. The beach in front of the condo is great for tanning, hanging out, and even great snorkeling. Also, the view speaks for itself. We visited during whale season and we saw dozens of whales while just hanging out on the balcony. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking, living room has plenty of seating, and the beds were comfortable. Also, it has AC, which can be nice midday when the sun is on the west side. We had a wonderful time, we already are trying to figure out when we can go back!

Fantastic Place

This condo was absolutely beautiful and well equipped with everything you could imagine. You will only need to make a Costco run and you are all set for what, we all considered an amazing vacation. Our party included our Daughter and Son in-law and their two little ones 2 1/5 and 3 along with my husband and I. A special thank you to the owners for opening up their beautiful condo. It was breathtaking! None of us wanted to leave so our only complaint was the fact that the window cleaner came in 45 minutes before the departure time and started cleaning. We didn't get that last chance to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and being thankful for this wonderful place. We just felt rushed to leave. I think when they say departure at 11:00 they should honor that. Mahalo!

The condo was clean and spacious, just as pictured in the listing. The location is just a few feet from the water. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. The view is amazing and we watched sea turtles from there every day. I believe the turtles (Honu) were eating the greenery that grows on the rocks that are right on the shoreline. We used the pool and also enjoyed the condo's close access to the boardwalk both for early morning exercise and to explore the other hotels and restaurants nearby. Location is excellent

No communication about major construction on property

I should have taken it as a warning sign when this property was removed from VRBO approximately two weeks before my departure. After arriving to the condo, which was lovely, it was clear that there was major construction and renovation happening all around the unit. The drilling was so invasive that we could hear it in each bedroom and living room throughout the day. I was traveling with my husband and two boys (age 3 months and 2.5 years). The constant barrage of construction noises made it impossible for my children to nap or anyone to relax on the unit. I cannot believe that KBM did not communicate with me at all to apprise me of the construction before the trip when we were clearly the only unit rented on that floor and side of the property. After complaining, KBM moved us to a different unit, which was fine, but try packing up two kids in the middle of vacation… bit of a nightmare. I will never stay with KBM again.

Place was great and the view is amazing! Close to stores, food and activities. Renting a car still makes sense given the island taxis and ride shares are scarce if you want more beaches, restaurants and other options than the great places near by. Thank you!
