WELCOME TO CASA LUNA BEACH HOUSE!
Stay at our beach house, Escape the Chaos, reconnect with family and/or friends & truly relax. Sleeps up to 8. Steps from the beach and sea on beautiful Playa Negra. Close to Hotel Banana Azul with a restaurant, convenience store with fresh baked goods, liquor, beer and anything else you may need, and a "beach club" with full service, a minute or two walk along the road.

This is Beach and Jungle living in complete comfort and style. There are 3 comfortable air conditioned bedrooms with 3 adjacent bathrooms. Wifi .. Fibre Optics (we run our businesses remotely from the house when we stay with no trouble). Plus we have a beautiful private plunge pool for a daily cool off.

Yes, we are right on the beach! We have a small road between the house and the sand. You can see the beach and ocean up close from the upstairs balcony. While the pool deck is nice and private surrounded by gardens.

The house has two living/sleeping areas and 2 huge open air shaded spaces. Upstairs (the main house level) has 2 bedrooms with 2 adjacent bathrooms, a large indoor living room and open concept kitchen with a large island. This level opens up with sliding glass doors onto a large balcony with a sectional couch and a dining table. The balcony over looks the jungle, beach and sea. Downstairs has 1 big bedroom with 2 queen beds, a large ensuite bathroom. Outside the bedroom is an open air, kitchenette with island and a sitting area, plunge pool, hammocks and lounge chairs.

We sleep 6 people super comfortably. We have bed layout options: 6 individual beds or 4 individual beds. The beach house has 3 bedrooms, 2 with a king bed (or each king bed can be split into 2 twin beds), 1 bedroom has 2 queen beds.

Imagine waking up after a refreshing sleep, making coffee in your fully stocked kitchen, sliding back the windows onto your private balcony overlooking the beach and sea. Playa Negra spans 22km (a beach walker's dream come true).

Sit quietly on our large comfortable balcony and listen to the birds & waves. Breathe deeply and think about your next adventure. Maybe you'll book a surf lesson or just take a leisurely walk along Playa Negra beach right in front of your fabulous beach house.

Look after yourself! Take a local Yoga (just down the road from us) or breath work class, reserve a relaxing spa treatment, wander, meditate, shop or lounge with a great book in a hammock beside your private plunge pool, it's all up to you. Do as much or as little as you want.

We are close enough to Puerto Viejo to walk on the beach (20 minutes) or 5 minute drive. There are Grocery shops and liquor stores, bars, restaurants and shopping conveniently close.

Our house is as much an outside space as inside and we will make sure your stay is comfortable and carefree. Leave all the details to us.

TRAVEL BOOKINGS AND CONCIERGE SERVICES:
Both the Owner (Juliet) and the Property Management Company (RISE CARIBE) believe it's important to make our guests feel special and make their trip memorable.
It's very important to us you feel spoiled and super special when you stay with us. HOW? you ask. Well, RISE Caribe our Property Manager has North American savy and a Costa Rican style. They are experts in the field of Property Management and rentals and look after their guests beautifully. We offer bookings through our favourite travel company (Gecko Trail), which offers adventure tours all over Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua. This lets us provide you with quality travel and transportation bookings from San Jose or anywhere in CR (and suggestions) from the time you book with us to the time you leave. Need a car, internal flight, trip, tour, hikes, volunteer opportunities, Spanish lessons, adventure, suggestions, advice? Just ask us when you book and we will be happy to assist you. We also provide a Concierge service, dinner recommendations, stocked fridge prior to your arrival, personal chef, laundry services, in house massage, special local spa bookings (the chocolate scrub is to die for!!), chocolate making class, cooking classes, hiking tours, surf lessons, board rentals, bike rentals - you name it we can get it for you. If you want to just chill, you can do that too. We can be as involved as you like. We leave it up to you.

THE HOUSE:
The house is spacious and has 2 levels.
The main floor (entry level) has secure parking for 1 car (additional secure parking can be arranged 1 minute away from the house), green space a large deck with a plunge pool, hammocks and lounge chairs, the kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you need to cook a meal. Our beds have premium mattresses and bedding to keep you comfortable and help you sleep like a baby. Each bedroom is Air-conditioned and has its own wardrobe, safe, ceiling fan and windows with screens (rare in most homes).

From our balcony. You will see and hear the jungle all around you. We've seen sloths, parrots, hummingbirds, kinkajous, Iguana, an armadillo and the list goes on.

INTERNET:
We often need to work remotely when we are living at Casa Luna Beach House so we have set up superior high speed fibre optic business wireless internet . Bring your laptops, its great for streaming Netflix, TV or movies too!

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:
A concierge from our management company RISE Caribe will meet you at the house when you arrive to make sure you are well taken care of and all of your questions are answered. They will communicate with you as soon as you book with us. This way you can let us know what your perfect East Coast, Costa Rican vacation looks like and we can help make it happen for you.

Gecko Trail:
Nina, the owner of Gecko Trail, has lived in Puerto Viejo for over 10 years now. She came from Switzerland and lives right next door with her husband and son. Nina speaks English, Spanish and Swiss German. She is an established local business woman who hires within the community. She has founded a school in Puerto Viejo and is involved with the local indigenous women. If you or your family would like to volunteer during your stay please ask Nina for your options. She can book any transportation you may need while staying in Costa Rica from airport transfers, San Jose hotels, adventure tours and travel while you're here.

WHAT IS PROVIDED FOR NO EXTRA COST:
We have made sure that Casa Luna Beach House offers much more than other rentals in our area. We've done our research and gone over an above by supplying many household and kitchen items other houses often don't supply.

CLOSE CONVENIENCES and additional HOSPITALITY SERVICES WE OFFER:
Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Breath work and Meditation classes are abundant in the Puerto Viejo area. Bike Rentals are available at our local Boutique Hotel, Banana Azul. There are two large grocery stores in town (5 minutes drive or taxi ride away). You can buy liquor, wine and beer as well as some fresh produce and supplies in our local convenience store which is 10 minutes walk down the road from the house. If you are taking a private car from San Jose we can arrange for your driver to stop at the grocery store just before you arrive. Or our property managers would be glad to pick up some staples for you and put them in the fridge if you give them some notice (for a small added fee). We can help you arrange dinners at the house prepared by a local chef, dinner on the beach at Banana Azul, a private chef for all or parts of your stay, in house massage and in house classes if you wish. Just ask us after booking so we can put you in touch with the right people.
