The house was wonderful, and close access to the beach made it even better. We had perfect timing to check in right as a storm blew through and knocked out power through the area. As that is obviously no one’s fault, they went above and beyond and had a generator installed the next day ( thankfully, as power was out for two whole days). That saved our vacation, and we will definitely be returning.

If you want to enjoy some time at the Indiana Dune, this is the place to be. We enjoyed the house, the location and the whole vacation. Heather was a joy to work with, never failing to answer our texts promptly. What a wonderful host.My only advice: bring mosquito spray!

You can't beat the location, the house was clean and cozy, and the provided wagon and beach supplies were a huge plus for beach time, which again, the beach is RIGHT THERE. Can't recommend this place enough!

Family Vacation

This was the perfect place and location for out family summer vacation. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. It was a 3 min walk to the beach and the best part was that we didn't have to worry about parking. The State and National Parks are a short drive away for hiking. We loved staying here and will definitely return for another beach trip since my kids loved it so much. Thank you!

Wonderful location, very clean!

This was our second stay of the summer at this house. We have a 3rd stay booked as well because we love it so much. It's clean, has a perfect location, and is aptly stocked for a week at the beach. Zika is very responsive, helpful & friendly.

Beach Getaway

We stayed here in July with our 7, 5 and 2 year old. The proximity to the beach was amazing! We had everything we needed in the house to enjoy a day at the beach. We loved exploring the dunes that were really easy to get to from the beach. The hosts were great and responsive to questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

Wonderful location, very clean!

Our family stayed for a week at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was immaculate when we arrived, which is very much appreciated. The location with beach access was so convenient and allowed us the ability to maximize our time at the lake. We did have local family over to visit and it was easy to host a small group with the open layout and big front deck. We visit the area several times a year and will definitely be back.

Cute beach house

What a lovely place to stay near the Indiana Dunes National/State Park and a 1 minute walk to the beach. Hearing whip- poor- whils and the waves crashing on the shore at night was one of the most relaxing nights ever! House was clean and the owner was lovely to work with. Hope to stay there again next year. Thank you!

Family getaway

Our stay at Porter beach vacation getaway was truly wonderful. The house was really perfect and easily fit our family of 2 adults and 7 children. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with extra pillows and bedding needs for our family. The location to the beach and ease of access was perfect for our family of young children. The provided wagon and beach essentials made it so easy to have a wonderful day on the beach. The house being so close allowed us to come back mid day for lunch and naps for the little kids. Heather was wonderful and so responsive with any questions. We will be back!

Wonderful family vacation spot

We had a great experience! The location was perfect with just about 3-4 minutes walk to the beach. You can see the beach from the windows and the patio. The water was very comfortable and kids enjoyed swimming and spending time by the water. ( August ) We also loved that within 3-4 miles you have variety of different restaurants and stores. The house was clean and comfortable. We brought everything we needed for our family and the house had everything else. No issue while staying. Very positive experience. We will be recommending this property to our friends.

Beach vacay

Absolutely wonderful time!! Property couldn’t be in a more convenient location :) it was a perfect walk to the beach and you had a nice view of the water from the deck as well. Owner had chairs and a wagon for us to use for the beach. Lake Michigan was absolutely phenomenal making this the perfect family vacay especially with the Covid-19 the beach wasn’t extremely packed except on Saturday and that’s a given. We felt very safe and protected!! We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation nor a better owner Zika was very professional, honest and answered any and all questions we had!! Very great time and highly recommended we hope to visit this exact location again in the coming years 😊 thank you again Zika for the wonderful hospitality!!
