A Couple's Mountain Cabin Retreat (Catskills)

Nestled in the serene beauty of State preserved land rests Woodland Valley, a coveted retreat revered for its natural beauty, wildlife and the Esopus River that runs through it. Located at the foot of Slide Mountain with Panther, Cornell and Wittenberg Mountains surrounding it.

Within the peacefulness of Woodland Valley,​ you will find our Small Cabin perched mountaintop and eye level to the​ skyline. Purposed by its smallness; it creates an idyllic​ mountain escape, the small curated cabin offers everything you need and nothing you don't.

Step inside and retreat within its​ naturally lit open floor plan, lofted beamed ceilings and its modern tranquillity​. Build a fire, grab a book and cozy down into your escape. ​Step outside and explore the mountainside beauty​ that​ is locally adorned as "God's Country". Hike the many trailheads, search waterfalls, swim in secluded watering holes, gather wildflowers, breath fresh mountain​ air and relax. A few minutes drive brings you to Phoenicia's adorable town, localized Farm Stands, ​ the famed Phoenician​ Diner and a 20 min scenic drive to the lively Woodstock and Hunter Mountain

The setting sun brings the myriad of stars, fireflies, the absolute quiet (soothed by the natural sounds of the river running nearby ). Perfect the evening by gathering to the outdoor fire pit and enjoying some drinks fireside. Rise with the bright morning sun and drink in the mountain air while you make breakfast and plan another relaxing day​...

Our small cabin has been completely renovated and lavishly decorated to ensure elevated​ comfort and offer a true escape. WiFi is available if you wish to bring your laptop​ but there is also a Roko TV. The cabin is an ​ideal couple's retreat, with a​ Queen size bedroom, the second​ smaller room has a daybed that can easily unfold​ to a queen size sleeper if you care to invite another​ guest or don't and keep it as an additional lounging space.

The kitchen is fully equipped ​for the chefs and features a gas stove and oven. A dishwasher and laundry are​ available for use. The bathroom has an extra deep soaking tub with hot water on demand. Just steps outside the kitchen door brings you to a bluestone​ patio with a lounging​ area, a fire pit, outdoor dining and a grill.

We have included a welcome book featuring the curation of all the places we found and enjoy There are so many fun things to do and explore, places to shop and eat, you will find yourself wishing for more days. (don't worry! you will return!)
