This was my second stay at Foggy Ridge, I had family with me and they were more than pleased with the stay, lodgings and the beautiful area. We also used the 'sister' property for sleeping. The patio area was perfect for 7 adults to gather for meals and getting together, we utilized every inch of it! Also the kitchen area was a plus for all of us and my culinary daughter. We hiked Buffalo Mtn,, visited Floyd, and went to the Olde Mill country club for supper, all were great! I am returning next month, and can't wait!!

The cider house had all the updates necessary for our stay and still the charm of the original cider house. Many of the items needed for the working cider house were used to decorate the living area. The bed was so comfortable. Located next to the orchard with deer and other wildlife frequenting the area. When we drove around the area we saw deer almost every time we ventured out by car. Many wild turkeys and twice we witnessed black bear near the roadway. I truly can recommend this mountain retreat. Well done!

This is the third time that we have stayed here and it quickly has become my happy place! There are so many nice touches throughout the property it really enhances your stay. It is very well stocked and the kitchen has everything that you may need. The location is incredibly beautiful with plenty to do in the area. Diane is wonderful too talk and work with and it is plain that she puts in a lot of effort to make her property one of the best. We'll be back!

Everything was exactly as it was represented in the listing. The owner communicated quickly and answered all of our questions. It was well-stocked with toiletries, linens, etc. You are able to walk around the grounds which was nice. A great place to stay - we highly recommend it!
