We had a great stay-came back a second time two months later

The house is a perfect location for visiting the beach and the town of Le Touquet. Full kitchen, comfortable beds and we enjoyed the glass ceiling winter garden. Excellent communication with the manager of the property. We look forward to returning soon!

Perfect location

Perfectly located for a five minute walk to the shops, restaurants or beach front. Parking outside, note this is payable July/August currently 25 for 48hrs. Well equipped for our needs, though we did mainly eat out. Some maintenance jobs needed but didn't detract from this cute property. Small front yard area but if you've got a pet there is a small park area just down the road. Only two of us so plenty of room, might be cosy if full occupancy in colder months but fine in the summer and it was lovely to open the French doors when we got back and sit on the veranda in the warm weather.

Very disappointed in cleanliness. Had to wash all cutlery and drawer before use. Kept then needs a deep clean. Dish towels, main towels and bed linen needs replaced. Pillows need replaced. Water cascading in from conservatory in heavy rain, due to faulty flashing, which suspect not a one-off. Tiles had fallen off main shower. Place really needs a full renovation to an acceptable renting to non family members

Simple Property in a Prime Location

My family and I visit France every summer and frequent Le Touquet a lot. This summer my parents accompanied us so this property proved an ideal location as it is a quick walk to the beach and the shops and restaurants. There is also a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor perfect for elderly parents. We really had a very lovely stay, however the communication with the property manager could have been better. There was no clear instruction on check-out, with the only words from the property manager instructing us to leave the house as we found it. When we arrived the house was not cleaned very well with dust, used plasters, medicine left from the previous guests. We tidied this up and cleaned the property well before departure. We did leave a few perishables in the fridge so as not to cause a smell by leaving in the outdoor bin for a few days before the collection. I informed the property manager of this upon our departure and received a text message stating I was the worst guest ever. I honestly have no bad words for the owner and the house is the perfect holiday home for a family on a budget to be near the beach and amenities of Le Touquet. My only advice to future renters is to ensure that things are very clear with the property manager.
