Relax and enjoy this cozy, all wood, cabin with 5-star amenities. The cabin is close to the downtown center, a golf course, the famous John Campbell Folk School, Harrah's Casino, and grocery shopping.

House cleaning between guests apply strict sanitization rules for your safety! The cabin also has a NANOinduct air purifier, ensuring the air you breathe will protect you from viruses, mold, bacteria, dust, and more...

Enjoy the best nature has to offer by taking advantage of outdoor activities, including whitewater rafting, zip lining, horseback riding, hiking, beautiful waterfalls, fishing, and the biker attraction, Tail of the Dragon.

The cabin is semi handicapped accessible, including a walk in shower with a grab bar and built in seat.

The cabin features a large open floor plan with high ceilings and is great for entertaining! The kitchen is fully equipped with a separate dining area. The laundry area has a full size washer and dryer. The great room features a beautiful stone gas log fireplace. The split bedroom plan provides a private large master bedroom with a king-size bed, a desk area, and full bath with double sinks and walk in shower with a built in bench. The guest bedroom, at the other end of the cabin has a queen size bed, a desk and dresser and a flat screen TV. It also has a board game cabinet with lots of games. A rollaway bed is also provided. The cabin sleeps 5 people and is equipped with WiFi internet services. All linens are provided.

The property sits on 1.5 acres complete with beautiful views of the Hiawassee River. The property also touts a fire pit area with plenty of outdoor seating. Guests may also enjoy the community covered pavilion area, complete with picnic benches, fire pit, and grill.

Dogs may be considered. They must be well groomed, no fleas, toenails trimmed, outdoor potty trained and when you leave the cabin without them, placed in their crate.

To get to the cabin there is a steep grade hill to drive up. RV's and trailers are still easily possible with a adequately sized vehicle.

Great cabin

The cabin was very nice and clean. Only problem we had was garbage disposal. The directions for the convience center wasnt available. Otherwise l, we would rent again.

Happy time

It’s a lovely cabin with a fabulous porch that you won’t want to leave. The cabin was clean and well-stocked and very comfortable. We visited the area to attend classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School and it was less than ten minutes away!

Beautiful view!

Judy was very helpful and accommodating, great host! The house has a beautiful view. The kitchen is stocked with everything one needs to cook a meal. The beds are comfy, and it's so peaceful on the mountain that you'll sleep like a baby. We spent the week at John C Campbell. Folk School, wish we had had more time to enjoy the view from the deck.

Cant Wait to Return

This was our NINTH stay in this neighborhood and first stay in this cabin and it was wonderful. We can't wait to book again. The cabin is roomy, clean and fully stocked. We loved being on a dead end with no neighbors on one side of us. The mountain view was AMAZING. My husband and I sat each evening on the porch watching the sun set and deer that visited the front yard. We actually tried to book for next year, same time and it's already booked but we'll definitely book again. 10 out of 10.

Post-holiday peacefulness at Haven in the Hills

Overall, we had a wonderful time during our 8 night stay. The owner provided everything you could possibly need for that length stay and then some. The cabin is well-stocked for cooking and coziness, with plenty of space for two to four people to move about with ease. Since it was just the spouses on this trip. we only used the master bedroom and bath, but the secondary was quite nice as well and clean. Plenty of games available if you wish to stay indoors for the day. The appliances worked great, and the inside laundry was a nice feature to have. We also appreciated all of the Things To Do brochures, books and the binder that the owner prepared. Very helpful! The cabin was tidy and clean, and we felt more than comfortable there. I would suggest a quick dusting of the ceiling fans however for those with dust allergies. The cabin was decorated so cute for Christmas and the fireplace was just lovely and operated with total ease! The neighborhood is cabins only but well spaced, and we felt safe coming and going without any concern. Even chatted with a neighbor on our morning walks up the steep roadway. Great place to get in some leg exercises! ;) We truly have no complaints, and are planning to return this Fall for another week. We had actually wanted to extend our stay last week, but could not reach the owner for permission. This is out of character for her, so we do sincerely hope that she is alright. The cabin is quite close to Murphy and Brasstown. It was the perfect choice for a relaxing and peaceful post-holiday getaway. Looking forward to a return trip!

We were unhappy that we did not have Direct TV as advertised for our four-night stay. The Overseer knew there was no service a week before our arrival and did not let us know. He did not set up a repair appt during our stay. I am assuming the subsequent guest will experience the same. The password for the Wifi was not located as the directions stated on the frig. There was no "pass" as stated on frig for taking trash to a depot. Another renter had stated this in a previous review that I read while there. We ended up bringing our trash home (7 hrs). There had been (or currently) a roof leak in the roof above MBR bath. We did not have rain. It was evident there was leak damage based on ceiling. The house was "surface" clean but was in need of a deeper clean. The toaster was so dust-ridden we did not use. The rocker seat along rungs and wooden area had not been cleaned for a good while and the chair cushion also had debris. We did not use it. The headboards were dusty. The furniture was comfortable, and the house was fully appointed with all supplies needed. The layout of the house was nice. We did not find a vacuum to address some of the needs such as the rocking chair. The driveway and parking will not comfortably accommodate a 2nd car. It is a longer steep drive. We found we had to back down it or do a lot of three quarter turning to get one car out. It was tricky for a renter.

Perfect stay

Great communication, check in process, location, amenities, kitchen utensils, cleanliness, space, grill, bathrooms, bedrooms, furniture, outside area, etc. Everything is 10/10 and this will be my first choice if I'm back in the area! Deer all over the property/area at different times of the day. Peaceful, cozy, safe, fun! Everything you could want from hiking, grocery, food, casino - is within or about 15 min away.

Beautiful mountain cabin!

My husband and I, along with our little Maltese Buddy thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. The cabin is so beautiful and had every amenity we could imagine. The bed was so comfy and the fireplace so warm We enjoyed having coffee on the porch, watching the deer each morning and evening. The host was so nice to call and check in. Would definitely recommend!

It was a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy nature. Wildlife all around the cabin! The cabin was cozy and clean with all the amenities needed to have a great stay! The owner Judy is a jewel of a person. So kind and caring. Highly recommended the cabin to all hands!

Peaceful

It was the best rental we have ever stayed at! The location was great! The home was very comfortable! We slept so well! It was a clean & spacious cabin with beautiful landscaping and a gorgeous view! We loved the river and so did our dog! Judy was so sweet and was there for us if we had any questions for her. We loved the paved roads all the way to the door! It is not steep on the roads, you just have to drive slowly through the development. There were deer around every corner. We will stay there again!

Awesome wonderful cabin

We have been staying at VRBO's for over 10 years. This cabin and owner is by far the best location and owner we have ever had. Judy could not have been more helpful. She is outstanding! The cabin is fully furnished and is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I have already reserved time for next year. We were very blessed to be able to stay in Judy's cabin.

Beautiful cabin

Our weekly stay started out with rain the first full day. Afterwards, everyday was sunny and beautiful. Made for a great week of mountain riding. The cabin was beautiful and pretty close to the grocery store and various restaurants. Judy the owner, is about as pleasant of a person as you can find.

Our little get away

We love this cabin , saw alot of wild life. It was so relaxing just sitting on the porch. We cooked out on the grill a few nights.We tried our luck at the casino , we had alot of fun. We will be back again. Thanks again Judy You are a great host.
