Steps-to-Beach Ground-Level Gem with Ocean Glimpses

Hono Kai A6 is a ground-floor, 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo that is just a few short steps from the pool and close to the ocean. Unit A6 can accommodate up to 4 guests. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. As you step into the living room you'll find a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area for additional guests. The bathroom is located next to the front door and features a bathtub/shower combo and single-vanity sink.

This home stays cool with 1 window A/C located between the main living area and the bedroom, as well as ceiling fans and tile flooring. There are sliding doors to separate the living room and bedroom for added privacy. Cook meals in-house with the fully equipped and remodeled kitchen.

Hono Kai is a beachfront property where you can enjoy a 6-mile stretch of beach with views of Haleakala and Kaho'olawe, an oceanfront pool, and BQQ areas. Additionally, there is a coin-operated laundry facility for your convenience. Hono Kai is located at Ma'alaea Bay near many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Walk to the Aquarium, enjoy exciting activities from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to either side of the island. There are no resort or parking fees.

We loved our time at the condo. Well equipped condo with beach right outside your door. We saw lots of turtles everyday and even saw a few snorkeling!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of 4. Location is central to everything we wanted to do. So great to just walk out on the beach. Quiet area. Right next to the harbor where the snorkling boats leave. Had everything we needed.

Great spot, quiet beach

We have been coming to the spot for many different trips now, and it never disappoints. Great beach, great units, and we also loved our housekeeper Shantelle. She was so kind and helpful and really made us feel welcome as an on-site presence.

If you want to get away and be at peace this is property has it all and everything is literally within 30-60mins. Drive slow and enjoy the scenes along the way.

Great unit!

The place had everything we needed: towels, kitchen tools, cooling bag. Beach is wonderful, we snorkeled there lots, saw many fishes and turtles every day. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a basic place to stay and relax. Good value for the money. Close access to the beach makes it unforgettable. Thank you!

Perfect place to watch the arrival of he night sky

The condo is a great place to sit and enjoy views of the mountain and sea. My daughter and grandson stayed here, but all of us enjoyed the afternoon sun from the porch. She said the bed was comfortable and the condo was clean. The pool is small, perfect for a beginning swimmer. I would stay here again if the price was right.

Literally steps away.

I enjoyed being so close to the ocean. Being 74 I didn't try to get on the beach as it was quite a step. I truly enjoyed my stay watching the waves and surfers.

This place was awesome

First floor condo, less than 50' from ocean . You can hear the waves breaking. Saw whales and turtles from beach. Near the end of the road quiet area short drive from airport. Walk to marina for snorkel and whale watching trips and restaurants. Parking spaces are really really small rent a compact. Bbq grill washing machine dryer on property. I would stay here again!

My stay at Hono Kai A6

Enjoyed my stay. Condo was on first floor, by the pool and view of ocean. Very comfortable. Appreciated the supplies provided such as dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Paper towels, dishwasher pods. Pay laundry across the hallway. Very clean. Lanai very comfortable to sit and enjoy. When I first checked in, took a few hours for Wi-Fi to appear as a selection. Very good communication prior to trip.

What a perfect paradise!

We would love to stay there every times if we are in Maui. Can't ask for more: the location, the pool and the private beach. The sand was so soft, the water was very clear and warm. We loved walking & taking pictures at the beach & the trees. Sitting underneath the tree was so relaxing & watching the kids play at the beach or a couple were fishing. Saw few turtles. This condo was not far from Kihei where we went out to eat few times - great restaurants: Coconut's fish cafe and Nalu's South Shore Grill. We went to the mkt & bought fresh fishes to cook at the condo which has everything - just bring yourself & the swimming suit. Can't wait to go back there again & again. It is very hard to come back to work & not being there every day! We saw rainbow - does it mean we are coming back to "My Perfect Stays"? Thank you for renting the perfect stay to us, Lisa & Chane
