Cozy Log Cabin walking distance to swimming pool, rec center and ski slope

Your vacation mountain home boasts outdoor and indoor gas fireplaces, hardwood flooring, kitchen and baths with granite counters, beautiful wood trim, luxurious extras. Soaking tub with jacuzzi in main floor suite, half-bath for guests on main level. Laundry room with Washer and Dryer, Gas stove and propane b-b-q grill on expansive balcony with fireplace. All linens and towels and a supply of paper products will be in the cabin so you have a supply to last your stay. New mattresses and linens. Large smart tv in living room with YTube TV streaming dozens of channels. Netflix and Prime installed. Only three townhouse units in each of two log buildings on a dead end. Cable TV and WIFI included. Maps and local information in unit and just steps away from Community Center. Additional fee for use of indoor and outdoor swimming pool and workout facility - but all located a short walk from our townhome. Walk down the hill and around the corner to the best local restaurant in the area (no bias of course) The Library. Check out the reviews. We have several other excellent restaurants gourmet and downhome country cooking and of course excellent local B-B-Q within shouting distance or a ten minute drive. So many awesome hiking trails and summer programs that include talks on wildlife and gardening, etc. We have a local friend and helper on the ground for help with questions and concerns.

Fun in the mountains

We have been going to Sapphire for over 30 years and love the area. Our first time staying in the valley and not in a house for more mountain views or lake views, but we absolutely loved being in the valley. A quick 5 minutes to Ingles and the Farmers Market. Just a great location.

Cashiers Condo Stay

Pros: 1. Comfortable condo with nice porch and view. 2. Easy access to Cashiers and surrounding area. Very close to Sapphire Valley amenities and to the Country Club of Sapphire Valley. 3. Close to good restaurants - The Library, Slopeside Cafe. 4. The owner/manager are pleasant and responsive. Cons: 1. Really steep driveway into property that ices over when it is below freezing due to ski area next door blowing snow. 2. Master bedroom needs better insulation/window closures as it gets really cold in winter conditions. Overall, I would be happy to stay in the property again.

Treehouse experience

This property worked great for our family. Two very large bedrooms (like two masters with en-suites), and two pull out couches in the loft. Very well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. Appliances in great shape and washer and dryer are provided. Mornings on the deck are perfect with a cup of coffee, or in the evening you can hear some great country music. The location is within walking distance to three excellent restaurants (The Library, Micas, and Slopeside), with music. The home includes amenities: pool, Fairfield Lake privileges, exercise facility and more (for a minimal fee). Lots of great walking and close to hiking, kayaking and fishing. If golf is your thing, Sapphire Golf Club is open to the public. Cashiers is a couple miles and Highlands is maybe a 25 minute gorgeous drive. Lots of choice shopping. Beds are comfortable, decor is warm and welcoming. Property has two fireplaces for when it is chilly. Parking was right next to the condo. The charming patio (which needs a little refresh) has a lovely view and is surrounded by trees. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cabin

This is a beautiful and very spacious cabin located in a very pretty area. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities needed including supplies to last us even up the day we left. Dealing with the owner, Virginia was a pleasure, she was very informative and helpful. Deb and Jackie, the couple who was our contact in Sapphire, were great they solved any questions or issues we had and it was a pleasure to meet them in person. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again and staying at this cabin.

Mountain Getaway

Beautiful rustic home in the mountains. Plenty of room, all the amenities. Lovely owner and manager. We felt a bit isolared but that’s because we were infamiliar with the area. We highly recommend it.

Perfect Stay!

Our family had a wonderful New Year's holiday at this cabin in Sapphire Valley! We were within walking distance to the Ski Lodge and close to Cashiers and Highlands for fun day trips to hiking and waterfalls. The cabin was cozy but definitely a great size for our party of four with two wonderful master-style bedrooms. The cabin had everything we needed and the indoor and outdoor fireplaces were always going. The owners were extremely accommodating and always available when we had questions. They reached out to make sure the check-in and check-out process was smooth - we would absolutely recommend to other visitors!

Great Cashiers Location

Very clean, well decorated and great location. Ginger was a very caring host. The day we arrived both Ginger and her local caretaker contacted me to make sure we were comfortable and to let me know they were a phone call away if we needed them.
