Panoramic Pacific Ocean views for both summer sunsets & winter storm watching!
The house can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children (no parties). Just cross the street to the breathtaking Roads End Beach. Surfers, whales, dolphins, sea lions & sunsets can been viewed from the spacious deck (or even the couch!) Walk across the street onto the beach & head to the tide pools. Walk up the street to the head of The Thumb & The Knolls hiking trails. 5 minute drive to Lincoln City Community Center with a year-round amazing swimming pool that includes a high dive, rope swing and slide, as well as an indoor rock climbing wall, basketball court & workout facility.
Wonderful location for families with small children; very easy to get from the house to the beach & back for supplies & restroom necessities. Easy to rinse off in the outdoor shower. Close to downtown Lincoln City for great restaurants, groceries, and shopping. You can even walk down the beach to the Chinook Winds Casino.
The designer kitchen and european style family table encompass the great room. Surrounded by panoramic ocean views and warmed by the gas fireplace and flat screen TV, friends and family will enjoy visiting and entertaining in this stylish home. The kids can go outside to play basketball (seasonal) or enjoy a game of pool. To unwind, the downstairs family room is perfect for them to watch a movie. After a day at the beach, the kids will love washing off the sand in the enclosed outdoor shower. Of course, we also have two indoor showers for the less adventurous. For those looking to sneak away from it all, the master soaking tub will take away your worries. Watch the sun set on the spacious balcony or play one of many board games inside.

We enjoyed our time here. They have games galore, a nice big table and island to play games and eat together. There's also a pool table that we had a lot of fun playing a tournament with the fam. The nice beach is in easy walking distance where we played and found some agates. Definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed our one week stay at this property! Beautiful view of the ocean! Every evening we were visited by deer, even a mama and two fawns! Very close to beach entry. Beds and pillow were very comfy! Our grandkids had so much fun searching for and finding agates. We would definitely stay here again!
The property was as described and even nicer. All needs were provided for. Loved the adirondack chairs on the deck and listening to the waves crash on the beach all night long. Perfect location, lovely decorative touches. Very comfortable/homey. We will be back when family comes to visit OR again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
I'm not sure the photos quite do justice to this wonderful home. Clean, spacious and comfortable; the upper level boasts vaulted ceilings, a fire place, and an unforgettable view of the Pacific just a hundred yards to the West. The sunsets were amazing.
The rest of the amenities are equally terrific: nice bedrooms, a game room, great kitchen with a huge dining table, plus quick access to the beach. The grocery store is just a few minutes away, and the rest of the wild Oregon coast is just a quick drive up or down the 101.
Restaurants, shops, parks, or just a relaxing day watching the waves - this was a terrific home base to take it all in. We've been out to the Oregon coast 6 or 7 times over the past decade, and this house was easily our favorite.
We're already looking forward to our next visit!

This is our second stay in this lovely home. It’s clean and well maintained. The view of the ocean is perfect and very close to access 40 on Roads End Beach, which makes it easy to quickly get on the beach without having to deal with parking. We were traveling with two kids and my parents and the layout of the home was great for my parents to sleep in the upstairs room on the main living level with the kitchen and my husband and I with the kids downstairs. There’s TVs in the master bedroom, queen size bedroom, living room, downstairs kids room, and game area in the garage. There’s a pool table, large connect 4, and other games for kids and adults. Christy and Michael have done a wonderful job insuring the home is comfortable and making sure what guests need is on hand. Amenities include all the items you need like plenty of towels, spices and cooking pans and utensils. There’s a coffee pot and tea kettle. The washer and dryer worked great and laundry detergent and dryer sheets were provided. For those looking to explore the miracle 20 miles, this home is a great location. We were able to easily get to Depoe Bay, Newport, Taft, and other area Attractions. Some of our favorites are The Wildflower Cafe for Breakfast, Mo’s Seafood in Newport, Oceanography 101 souvenir shop in Depoe Bay, and Ginger Roots at the Outlet Mall that has home decor and locally made arts and crafts. Thank you Michael and Christy for sharing your lovely home!

We stayed 2 nights and found the house well supplied with all that we needed. Very clean. The owner was responsive to our questions. We are 4 female friends over 70 and it worked well for us.
Perfect two night getaway from the AZ heat. My wife, daughter and three of her friends loved this property. The pool table was a big hit and you can’t beat (only a two minute walk to the beach) walks on the beach at sunset! Awesome photo ops! We would definitely stay here again!
The house could’ve used a few more of the basics. The master suite does not have a TV neither does the downstairs bedroom with a queen bed or the kids rooms. That wasn’t a dealbreaker but I did not know this going into it. The house was beautiful
We loved the view, location and house. Made our stay enjoyable. Had a problem with the downstairs faucet. Called on call repairman who said he’d come in the afternoon. Unfortunately, he never showed up. 6 people and one shower made getting ready troublesome. Suggest adding card table and folding chairs to the house. That would have made our game time more enjoyable. After a while the backless wooden benches were uncomfortable. We’d stay here again. Beautiful hime!
We loved our stay at this property! The home is so close to the beach and has amazing view! We could even hear the ocean waves from the home. Beautiful inside and out.
Nice clean design, well laid out for families. Master bed w/ beautiful en suite, open living space / kitchen, powder room and deck are on upper floor. Downstairs contains the second bedroom, bunk room, full bath and the small living area with pull out couch. Laundry is in a separate room downstairs adjacent to the garage. Garage contains the pool table, which was perfect on the day it rained. Well appointed without being cluttered - when we visited, there was a nice selection of books, puzzles and games for all ages, the garage had corn hole set ups, sand toys, a skim board etc. Beach towels are provided and there were quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap in the bathrooms so you need to pack less than you think you do! Christy, the owner, was a great resource for local food and beverage choices - we utilized some of her recommendations for takeout as well as cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Definitely a wonderful and relaxing stay!!!
The house was a perfect getaway for our large family. The back porch was a great place to sit and watch the waves and the beach access was directly across the street. The house was beautifully decorated and felt like we were staying with good friends. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We loved the Roads End property!! Beautiful views of beach and ocean! And easy, short, walk to beach entrance. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything, from kitchen items to laundry to beach towels & chairs!! :-)
Can't wait to go back!!

Great view in Lincoln City!
This beach house was delightful. It was clean, well organized, tastefully decorated. The view was great! It was a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed cleaning the sand off in the outdoor shower. The owner was very responsive. The only recommendation we have is to provide some basic spices.

About the host
Hosted by Michael Short
We discovered Road's End many years ago & love it here. It is a very unique slice of beach along the Oregon Coast where we have spent many hours building sand castles, enjoying fires on the beach, playing in the water, skim boarding, searching for shells & agates and enjoying the sun.
Why they chose this property
This house has amazing view from every room and is so close to the beach that you can run back to the house in a moment if you need anything. Walk out the front door with your coffee cup & stroll the beach in the morning. It's a wonderful place to stay in the summer and in the winter - were you can sit next to the warm fireplace and watch the winter storm waves from the comfort of the couch.
