Redwood Cottage is a unique, delightful and romantic getaway located amid large Redwood trees just 1.2 miles northeast of our little village. This open floor plan features a clear redwood interior; bedroom with king-sized bed and luxury linens, a ladder that takes you to the second sleeping space, a cozy loft with a full sized futon mattress, just perfect for 2 children. This charming cottage has a private sun deck, a private hot-tub, and a complete kitchen with clear Redwood slab counter-tops, and large skylights to give warmth and light in the sitting and dining areas. The sleeping area upstairs consists of a full-sized futon and — kids are thrilled by this! — can be reached with a step ladder. Finally, the cottage features a full bath, a gas fireplace, Smart TV, Dish TV, a stereo, free Wi-Fi, a gas barbecue, convenient private parking and comes stocked with Organic Big River Coffee and Teas. The word is out on this little gem; it is frequently sold out. Dog friendly w/Pet Fee. As of 02-08-22, upgraded to Xfinity/Comcast Cable Internet Service Provider! Brand NEW HOT TUB installed in April 2025!

A non-refundable one-time Cleaning Fee of $150 applies.
A Pet Fee of $35 per pet, per night, plus tax applies. Dogs only. Maximum of 2 dogs.

This was our second stay at the Redwood Cottage. It was as perfect as I recall from our first trip! The team’s communication was great and they were very accommodating to our early arrival. This cottage is perfectly located to indulge in all the activities and beauty found in Mendocino. It is comfortable and has everything necessary to make you feel at home. We will be back.

House was great. Clean. Well stocked and had freah water for drinking. We loved the specual touches for the pups and the interior decor. The foreplace was excellent to wake up to. A sense of solitude amongst the trees

My wife and I loved this small, yet perfect in many ways, hideaway. The property was as described. We found it to be, quite, well equipped, and a classic cabin type home. The fenced in deck with spa, was used everyday. We have stayed in many large beautiful homes, but this little jewel will bring us back again!

Another wonderful trip to Mendocino!

We’ve stayed at the Redwood Cottage a couple times now and have thoroughly enjoyed the quiet cabin and surrounding areas. Close to town, yet tucked away, it’s exactly what we were looking for. Listing is as described, clean, and cozy. Only thing this time around was that the hot tub was a bit dirty. Otherwise, met all our needs!

Mendo Cottage

Small and cozy cottage just above Mendo village. Great location, quiet spot, friendly people. The cottage is clean, equip with most kitchen items needed. Housekeeping comes in daily to make beds, restock towels, and clean dishes which is a nice perk.
