Views high above the river with a pleasant walk to Midtown attractions

I’m so happy to hear that. Please stay with us again.

I’m so happy that you enjoyed your stay.

I welcome all of you back at any time! You were a joy to communicate with, and were very thoughtful guests. I couldn’t ask for more. Cathi

Well, you are certainly welcome at any time. Thanks for staying with us. I look forward to your return. This summer you can look down on the river from the coolness of the deck when elsewhere folks are battling the heat. Cathi

I agree! Thank you for being great guests. Cathi

You are wonderful guests and it was fun to help make your Christmas memorable. I’m so happy you opted to cut your own Christmas tree from the forest. That’s a special memory that makes a Ruidoso Christmas stand out from any other. You are most welcome next Christmas, or at any time of the year!

Thank you for your kind words. We do our best to maintain the cabin as close to perfect as possible. There’s nothing more important to us than to make our guests feel welcome in a relaxing environment. You are welcome at any time, and I look forward to your return. Cathi

I’m so glad you appreciated the effort put into the remodel. It was a big challenge, but we are quite proud of the final outcome. We continue to add improvements each year such as the custom bunk beds finished out with a tree cut on the property. You are spot on about the location and the Upper Canyon feel. Our first cabin is a 1-bedroom in the Upper Canyon which also looks down on the river. When we spotted this hidden gem that needed a big dose of attention, we had the same feeling of peaceful relaxation. We couldn’t wait to bring it back to life and enjoy it. We are happy you found it and were able to enjoy it as well. Cathi

Thank you soooo much! We enjoyed having you, and look forward to your next stay. I would love for you to enjoy your coffee looking out on pristine snow covering the deck!

Thank you. Prior to your arrival, Ruidoso had just experienced high winds which resulted in showers of pine needles. We maintain the grounds regularly, but can’t control the effects of storms in between cleanings. The crew came three days before your arrival. We would have gladly sent them to clear the grounds again had you mentioned it. Since you did not respond to any of my messages, I assumed that all was well. I wish I had known so your stay could have been perfect. I want every guest to have great memories to take home with them. Cathi

Thank you. We love having you…come often! I agree about enjoying the storms on the porch…there is something special about hearing the deep thunder moving through the mountains…it’s nothing like we experience at home. The porch seems to suit all seasons, but especially the mild summer months during monsoon season. It’s also fun to have a protected place to watch the snow fall. The cabin has a place for everything. Thank you for choosing Cabin in the Sky and for being a return customer. I look forward to your next visit. Cathi

Paige, Thank you for your wonderful review. I am so happy your stay at the cabin was enjoyable. That’s our goal—to have our guests enjoy Cabin in the Sky as much as we do. Long stays like you enjoyed are the best!! Please come back soon. I look forward to your next visit. Cathi

Thank you SO much for your kind words. We love sharing our cabin with guests like you, and look forward to your next visit. Cathi

Well, you were wonderful guests and I'm glad you all enjoyed your stay. Ruidoso is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors, and the cabin is the perfect place to come home to. Thanks for pointing out how great the location is. That's an important aspect of choosing a rental. The deck is amazing and a great place to ponder the day's activities. Come back soon. I look forward to your return visit.

I very much look forward to your return. You always take wonderful care of the cabin and make the most of your stays. You are most welcome at any time. Cathi

Christmas in Ruidoso is a very special time, and I wanted to make sure that your stay at the cabin created lasting memories. Cutting your own tree in the Lincoln National Forest was an opportunity I’m pleased you took advantage of. The cabin is designed for family gatherings, and what better time than Christmas to enjoy it? I’m happy you chose our cabin, and look forward to seeing you again.
