Shuttle to the Beach Club departs from the pool every 20 minutes. The Lost Key Beach Club is approximately 0.5 miles from the property. Great family place

It was a great place to stay family friendly if you're looking to be able to go hang out and then have a ride back they have shuttle transportation to the pool to the beach overall is a very great stay The grill at the place wasn't in the best of condition other than that the place was great they also had bikes for the kids that weren't maintenanced but it was a great place to stay

This was the perfect place for our family of 8. We love that it has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The 4 bathrooms were perfect for coming off the beach, allowing half of us to shower at a time. This condo is very nice and pretty much had everything we needed. More towels for the showers would have been a plus. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels if you plan on staying a week. The shuttle to the beach club was our favorite thing! You call it, it shows up to your door to pick you up and brings you back. With limited parking at all beaches, this is a huge plus! The host was friendly and always replied to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again. Great location!

Lots of room, good location, quite street, close to the beach

Great stay and given the chance would likely stay there again. All the bathrooms had soap and paper products, enough towels and cloths for a family. House was clean and everything was in order.House shows some wear and tear on the carpet and walls, but otherwise it’s a great place.

The house was very roomy…the 4 bathrooms with each bedroom was very convenient after being at the beach all day! The house could have been cleaner but still very nice! Would stay here again for sure!

Great stay! Very room! Very clean! Absolutely nothing but praise for this location! It was a super quick booking, less than 24 hrs. A last minute vacation that was accommodated! Would highly recommend booking here and will definitely be booking again!

Great Vacation Rental

Great vacation rental home with a wonderful host that is very helpful. This is a nice, clean, condo with great amenties. It is cose enough to the beach that you can ride bikes, provided, to watch the sun rise or set. There is also a Shuttle service available, if needed, along with several swimming pool options and even golf. There are lots of restaurant options near by, along with local grocery stores, small shops, a fish market and even a national park near by. Im a local & I recently stayed here, for almost 3 weeks, while renovating my home and I absolutely loved this condo. I highly recommend checking out The Villagio Town center, in Perdido key, for an evening out and for the ladies they have a great nail salon there now as well. This is just a very quaint area, and a must see to understand the beauty of its location. Highly recommend and i will rerinr

Great House!!

The check in process was a bit rocky and the house wasn't cleaned upon us finally getting access. BUT as soon as the property owners found out the situation it was quickly rectified. The house itself and all of the amenities the development has to offer is amazing. Thank you to Dan for handling the situation quickly!

March in Perdito

Great location, this property needs some attention. We tidied up the deck, cleaned the grill and did a couple of simple repairs to make our month long visit better. Charles was responsive to our requests as the grill propane tank empty, old water filter in fridge, there was a lack of hangers and glassware. Main Tv was.a problem to connect to dish, deck furnishings need to be replaced.

Great Lost Key Duplex

Huge home with a bathroom for each bedroom. Clean, bright, great location in a golf community. Pool and gym right on the same road. Loved every minute of it. Only drawback was the riptide at the beach.

Great for adults and older kids

The house is great and location is good. There was plenty of room for everyone (7 adults 4 kids). Could have been cleaner, but not terrible. The fridge and counters needed wiped down and the previous tenants had left part of their breakfast in the oven. We didn’t use the beach club or shuttle. We ended up using the public access right next to it and it was pretty nice. We did use the pool with the kiddie area. It was great and the littles loved it. We did have kids 4 & under, so it was a little hectic with all of the stairs. Baby gates are provided. There were no dishwasher tabs, dish towels/cloths, or bath soap/shampoo, so bring your own Grocery stores are convenient. Over all, I would definitely recommend this property to adults and kids over 4.

Florida trip

We had a great time. The place was very clean and ready to go. We could not get the front door code to work, but we were able to get through the garage. Lost Key was beautifully equipped. We took advantage of the shuttle. Convenient to get to the beach, no need to search for parking. Loved how each bedroom had their own bathroom. Very handy. Looking to come back soon.

Vacation

When we arrived there was another family still in the house past their check out time. Not the fault of the owner but it was difficult to get a hold of someone in a timely manner. They eventually sent someone to clean that night but we had already had to start washing all the bedding and towels ourselves. They promised me a one night refund. I eventually received the refund about a month after our trip after they did not respond to my reminders and I had to get Vrbo involved. The house was nice but definitely lacking a lot. No soap, dish towels, cleaning supplies. So definitely bring all those if you decide to stay.

Wonderful place near the beach!

We (10 ladies over 20 years old) really enjoyed our stay here! It was clean, and the owner was responsive, including with regard to the two minor technical difficulties we encountered there. There are four lovely bedrooms, each with a TV and bathroom (the 3 upstairs bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms). Only the master bedroom (upstairs) has enough floor space for air mattresses, but we fit 3 twin air mattresses (1 provided at the property) in there so five adults could sleep in there. The garage is two car lengths deep, and the property is a 20-minute walk from the beach. We recommend this rental, and we are considering renting it again in years to come!

Loved the house only one problem on arrival

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was great. Our only problem was when we arrived the house had not been cleaned since the last family was there. I mean nothing was done. Towels were in the shower and bedding was in the floor. I think it was totally overlooked. Housekeeping came and cleaned and was finished at 6:00 p.m.

Great location, dirty and poorly supplied house

The community was beautiful and the house could have been very nice, but it needed to be deep cleaned and have appropriate supplies provided. The bathrooms, kitchen, mirrors, and walls were all dirty. The toilet paper was 1 ply and half of the bathrooms didn’t have towels or hand soap. The dryer didn’t work properly and we had to deep clean the lint trap so it would dry our clothes. We had to buy Clorox wipes and clean the bathrooms/kitchen as well as provide our own dishwasher soap and laundry detergent, which is not what you expect when renting a luxury rental for a week. Neither of the electronic garage or front door locks ever worked so we had to use the back up key for our entire weeklong stay. Overall it met our needs, but we expected a clean and properly stocked house for the price we paid and the length of our stay.

Never Again

There isn’t a property manager or anyone else that responds to email or voicemail. Dried feces in the toilet, one towel for each bathroom, dirty bathroom rugs, dirty appliances, no kitchen towels, dishwashing liquid or detergent. The ONLY thing that appeared to be done is the beds, but I question if the sheets were clean. If you’re cleaning how do you miss the nasty toilet? They came by Wed evening, after I called my credit card company. My SIL had to work on the TV’s, the washer reeked of mildew and the dryer takes forever to dry - btw, we did find some damp towels in the dryer. A simple list of instructions on the counter would have helped - the trash is picked up on Wed, the wrist bands are no longer needed at the pool, the shuttle’s phone number, etc. This property is not being taken care of, nor are their guests.

Annual family vacation

This resort is not within walking distance to the beach. The shuttle service offered by the resort was timely and convenient however not very useful as you cannot take chairs or coolers on the shuttle. The resort offers 4 chairs on the beach. When the townhome sleeps 12, where are the others supposed to sit? There is no parking at the beach which made the logistics of going to the beach miserable. There are so many stairs inside and outside the townhome, not easy for loading and unloading. Of all the VRBO rentals I have had, this is by far my least favorite. The home was nicely decorated, and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and pans, there were only 4 drink glasses, plenty of wine glasses and coffee mugs. Think twice before reserving this resort...lots of rules. That being said, the pool is perfect as is the beach.

Lost Key - Never Again

Bottom line - I would not recommend this townhouse nor we will ever stay in Lost Key again. We stayed here last year with a handful of issues but decided we’d give it another shot - mistake. Good communication prior to arrival and even offered early check in when asked. For the most part, the townhouse is fine. The carpeting is getting quite old and nasty, but the furnishings still feel clean enough. We did arrive to a weird quilt on the master bed which I discovered 2 days later was bc the comforter had been washed and “dried” - meaning left to sour in the dryer for us to find. The tvs did not work over half of the time, the internet is horrible and the ice maker is literally duct taped due to a broken latch - old duct tape that constantly pulled off, at that. The biggest issues, though, came with the community amenities. Let me say, the beach club was closed our entire trip last year, and all we had was the community pool. This year, the community pool was closed for “cleaning” when we got there and didn’t open until 2 days later. When I contacted the owners they simply said they couldn’t reach management and it should be open tomorrow. We did find out it was, in fact, broken. The next day, they literally shut down every. single. thing. over Ian… we weren’t even near the cone of predictability at that point! We had maybe 3 hours on the beach/pools before they removed every single piece of furniture and literally guarded the pool… with 4 kids ages 4-7 to entertain all week, we ended up spending hundreds on other activities. The high rises had their chairs out for 2 whole days after lost key locked up theirs, and we had gorgeous weather all week! It is painfully obvious that this place is poorly managed and struggling. We spent all week being told “we emailed the owners.” Never once was any information passed on to us. They didn’t even bother to send us check out info so I went searching for the info I had to request last year. To this day, over a week later, I have not received a single communication from the owners since my last request - no we hope you enjoyed your stay, we value our renters and their reviews, nothing. It was a form email from VRBO that asked for this review. I do not like leaving reviews like this, but I dislike more the idea of other families wasting valuable family time dealing with the nonsense of this beach club. Spend a bit more and stay in a high rise on the water.
