I am a Florida Certified Residential Contractor. I live on this property.. I am a avid boater and love living here on the Hillsborough River. I am active in running . I am pretty laid back and enjoy people I get to meet from many different places. I have lived in Tampa my entire life.
Why they chose this property
I purchased this historical home with the rest of the property being vacant and developed it into a 8 home subdivision with a private street. All homes are on the River. The feel here is like country very quiet with wildlife, but minutes from the hustle and bustle. 5 minutes from downtown Tampa, Raymond James Stadium, and all the shopping areas. 30 minutes to world famous beaches.
What makes this property unique
This home was originally built in 1942 and the owner was in the shipping business like in large ships. He brought his ship decor ideas and incorporated it into the home, especially the studio. Feels like something out of the South Pacific. I purchased part of the property in the early eighties and built 3 homes and later in 2002 purchased the home and the remainder of the property and built the rest of the homes. added the studio and moved in the main house. This is the best kept secret in Tampa. Large properties, quiet, safe country feel and a few minutes from everything.
