Village house with large private garden
La Cachette is a light-filled, two-bedroom house located within the village of St Antonin-Noble-Val with a short stroll to the boulangerie, and the village’s cafes, restaurants, cinema and boutiques, as well as the famous Sunday market, which runs all year round. It offers convenience of village living, with the luxury of a large private garden, and free high-speed broadband.
While within easy walking distance of St Antonin’s eateries, boutiques, shops, and cinema, La Cachette is also a calm retreat with a large private garden.

There are regular cultural and musical events at the local hall, La Salle des Thermes, a three minute walk from La Cachette, as well as a museum, and a cinema showing English and French language films. Use La Cachette as a base to explore the medieval village featured in the films “Charlotte Grey” and more recently “The 100 Foot Journey” or retreat to the garden and relax.
Historic villages nearby include Penne, Bruniquel, Puycelci, Cordes-sur-Ceil and Najac. Cities such as Toulouse and Albi are an hour's drive away and the vineyards of Cahors and Gaillac are within easy reach.

On recommande !

Substance, Style and Serenity!
Thanks to our hosts Stephen and Pauline for a fantastic stay at La Cachette. This 2-3 bedroom hideaway in Saint Antonin is a brilliant respite for those seeking pure provincial idylls within striking distance of main tourists towns.
Our centrally located gette was easily accessed, thoughtfully setup (with sweet welcome basket), clean and cosy. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, kitchen well provisioned with large fireplace at the ready. Two bikes were available should we want to pedal our way around the town and surrounding countryside.
Stephen's local knowledge and guidance helped us make the most of our week in Tar et Garonne. Every bend in the road offered spectacular scenery, encouraging us to explore extraordinary towns and villages while sustaining us with excellent food and drink.

House in the heart of the village
We had a lovely stay in the house centrally situated in the village with restaurants and shops on your doorstop. People with mobility issues or young children may have problems with the internal steep stairs. The house is next to a busy car park and playground so there is plenty going on! We love St Antonin with it's medieval streets and friendly people hopefully we will be back soon

A fabulous homely house in a beautiful town. Couldn't have been better!
La Cachette has everything you need for a wonderful holiday in Saint-Antonin. We had a blissful week exploring the town and surroundings from this house, which is right in the heart of Saint-Antonin. The house is extremely well equipped and thoughtfully contains everything that guests might need for a relaxing break. The detailed visitors book and visitor guides provided, were really helpful for settling in quickly. The house is beautifully furnished and very well maintained. Pauline was a joy to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions I had about our stay. An amazing host!
I cannot recommend this house, or Saint-Antonin more highly. We kayaked on the river Averyon and swam daily at 'la plage'', which is well serviced by a delightful bar/restaurant called the Guinguette. The gorge that the town sits in is stunning, as is the medieval architecture of the houses. The market on Sunday's is great for fresh vegetables, meat and dairy produce. It snakes through the town and is a lively affair - get there early!
We hope to return to La Cachette!

gorgeous, well-equipped village house
Pauline and her husband are very welcoming and provide everything a person could wish for. The feel is not of a holiday home where comfort is at a minimum but of the high standard of your own house. After gorging yourselves on the local food and wine a very comfortable bed awaits you. The house is in a great location for good restaurants, days out and the best baker in town! We don't really want to recommend this property as we'd like to keep it for ourselves!

Ideal holiday
Charming house, plenty of room for us 3 adults. Very clean and well presented. Nice bottle of Red on arrival. The AV system was excellent, iPad full of good music, lots of dvds.. not that we spent much time indoors. The weather was ideal for this time of year. Lovely town to walk about. Loved the Sunday Markets.

Very nicely modernised house
A well presented house, nicely modernised for a very comfortable stay but leaving plenty of character with exposed timbers.Garden has plenty of sun and shade for just sitting or eating. St Antonin is a lovely small town, which held our interest for a full week of walking around. Also many interesting places to visit in the area. Lots of scenic drives and walks.
Recommended for a relaxed holiday or for adding as many activities as you can manage.

A wondrous fortnight in Spring!
A delightful and welcoming home which I had the pleasure of holidaying in for a number of weeks nearing the end of Spring. The home has ample space to serve as a family get-away, yet I visiting alone felt comfortable and snug and spent many a night beside the glowing ambers of the fire in the living room. The house has a wonderful kitchen, fully stocked with all the tools needed to cook up a storm using all the fresh and fantastic ingredients from Saint-Antonin's very own farmers market held every Sunday. A must visit!

Lovely property
A wonderful hideaway, very central, but so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room, very well appointed. Loved the Art on the walls. St Antonin is a treat; great Sunday market. Very friendly locals. Planning to go back this summer.

Why they chose this property
A large garden within the town is a rarity. This comfortable house with ample parking is just a few minutes stroll to enjoy all St Antonin N.V. has to offer, and is only a short distance to historic sites beyond. The views to the cliffs and the gorge are breathtaking and certainly what first attracted us to the region.
