About this property
Village house with large private garden
La Cachette is a light-filled, two-bedroom house located within the village of St Antonin-Noble-Val with a short stroll to the boulangerie, and the village’s cafes, restaurants, cinema and boutiques, as well as the famous Sunday market, which runs all year round. It offers convenience of village living, with the luxury of a large private garden, and free high-speed broadband.
While within easy walking distance of St Antonin’s eateries, boutiques, shops, and cinema, La Cachette is also a calm retreat with a large private garden.
Antonin-Noble-Val has a range of outdoor activities (cycling, canoeing, rock climbing, paragliding) as well as a new heated swimming pool and tennis courts. There are regular cultural and musical events at the local hall, La Salle des Thermes, a three minute walk from La Cachette, as well as a museum, and a cinema showing English and French language films.
Use La Cachette as a base to explore the medieval village featured in the films “Charlotte Grey” and more recently “The 100 Foot Journey” or retreat to the garden and relax.
Historic villages nearby include Penne, Bruniquel, Puycelci, Cordes-sur-Ceil and Najac. Cities such as Toulouse and Albi are an hour's drive away and the vineyards of Cahors and Gaillac are within easy reach.

Why they chose this property
A large garden within the town is a rarity. This comfortable house with ample parking is just a few minutes stroll to enjoy all St Antonin N.V. has to offer, and is only a short distance to historic sites beyond. The views to the cliffs and the gorge are breathtaking and certainly what first attracted us to the region.
