Fisher house renovated with equipment and furniture completely new with an area of ​​80 m2, located on the heights of the port of St Goustan in Auray. On the ground floor, you have a new kitchen and fully equipped design (oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob), a dining area and a lounge with a flat screen TV of 80 cm a sofa and ottoman. On this level, you also have a room with a toilet and a sink with a cabinet and a mirror in which there is also the washing machine. A closet is also built there.
On the 1st floor you will find two bedrooms, a loft and a bathroom. A first bedroom offers a 1 bed 2 people 160 x 200 (new bedding) with two storage drawers. The second has two bunk beds of a person (90 x 200), a third mattress (drawer) and a dresser. In this room you have access to the mezzanine with a single bed (90 x 200) by a staircase. All bedding is new.
Finally, you will find the bathroom with two sinks, a walk-in shower and toilet.
This house is quietly situated on the heights of St Goustan close to the many restaurants in the port and close to Auray town center and shops. The typical village of St Goustan is ideally located in the Gulf of Morbihan 22 km from Vannes and 15 km from the beaches of the ocean.

A great little spot.

Ty Savior cottage is very cute and well equipped with everything we needed. (It was so nice to finally see a decent set of pots and pans in self-catering accommodation.) It is located in the most magical place. We stayed over Christmas so got to experience the Christmas lights and drink mulled wine whilst taking in the atmosphere of Auray at this time of year. I would definitely recommend a visit to this little town and the lovely cottage Ty Saviour.

Lovely Property

Fabulous house, tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped for a stay, we are a couple so used only the double room. The bed was comfortable, cleaning and towels are extra unless you bring you your own or clean yourself. This was a last-minute decision for us and we were not disappointed. Mme Valerie Rouffineau was very helpful and pleasant and we had no problems with access, we didn’t have to call on her as there was no problems. The location is quiet, yet very close to the port Saint Goustan, a few minutes walk away. The streets around Auray and Saint Goustan are very picturesque and great for an evening walk. The house is located on a hill so you do need to negotiate the short, yet steep hill to reach the quay front, no issue if you are ambulant. So why not 5 stars? Essentially there is no outside space, so on a hot evening and cooking at the house you had to stay in doors to eat. You can get around this by opening the doors and windows and letting the outside in and this worked well, although I think you could manage a small table outside or sit outside with the food on your lap if you were careful! The sun shines along the street in the evening which is lovely. The road is not busy as it’s a dead end so traffic is very light. If you eat out each night this won’t be a problem for you. Parking was not an issue, there was a spot next to the house, parking near the church or along the streets, failing that you could park up the hill in the car park. We never had to do this and we went out every day and managed to use the same spot each evening next to the house. We stayed in late June/July. The drive down from Roscoff was about 2.5hrs none stop. The town is quiet, although the quay is busy each evening when the sun is hot and you can enjoy it until late into the evening at the bars/restaurants – the bars and Saint Goustan is west facing. We ate in so I can’t say much about the restos. The weather was mixed so on overcast days we visited attractions around Morbihan, Josselin, Vannes, the submarine base (we very much enjoyed this), Domaine de Kerguehennec, and the medieval village Melrand (Village de l’An Mil), we took something from all of them. On hot days we used the beach at Carnac which was sandy, with lovely soft sand and a shallow incline into the sea, the facilitates are on the left hand side of the bay as you look at if from the sea, shops, toilets are close and parking wasn’t an issue mid-week when we went. La maison convient à un couple avec 2 enfants, mais pas plus. L'annonce mériterait d'être revue notamment pour le nombre de chambres. Il est annoncé 3 chambres (dont 1 en mezzanine). En réalité il n'y a que la grande chambre parentale et une chambre avec 2 petits lits superposés. Ce qui est décrit comme une 3ème chambre n'est en réalité qu'un couchage sous les combles où un adulte, même de petite taille, ne peut tenir debout. Nous avons donc renoncé à utiliser cette "pièce".La chambre parentale est très froide (radiateur trop petit ? manque d'isolation ?). Il ne faisait vraiment pas chaud dans la maison (hormis la salle de bain) alors que les températures étaient négatives dehors.En dehors de cela, le gîte est sympathique, très bien aménagé et très bien situé.Encore une fois à recommander mais pour une famille de 4 personnes maximum.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement. Logement propre.Cependant, pour la clarté des futurs voyageurs, quelques modifications concernant la description de l'annonce sont nécessaires.Nous avons été surpris par un changement dans les conditions de réservation initiales, d'abord avec un refus pour 3 nuits, puis une demande de réservation d'une semaine et enfin une augmentation du tarif de 20 par nuitée suite à notre première requête. Il serait préférable que la politique tarifaire et de durée de séjour soit plus clairement établie et non sujette à modifications après un premier contact.L'annonce mentionne un bain à remous, mais il s'agit en réalité d'une salle d'eau avec douche. La cheminée est juste décorative, condamnée et aucun bois n'est disponible. La superficie annoncée de 80m² nous a semblé surestimée, se rapprochant davantage de 50m². Le logement est annoncé pour 6 personnes, mais plus adaptée pour 4. Nous regrettons que plusieurs éléments considérés comme basiques fassent l'objet de frais supplémentaires : 50 d'option ménage (avec instructions très strictes), 15 par lit pour les draps et 8 par personne pour les serviettes. Il serait appréciable d'inclure les draps et serviettes ou, au minimum, de bien les mettre en évidence avant la réservation.Le logement est sympa, bien agencé, propre et bien situé. Une mise à jour de l'annonce permettrait aux futurs hôtes de réserver en toute connaissance de cause et éviter les déceptions à l'arrivée.

Nicht zu empfehlen:-Heizung wurde seitens der Vermieterin nicht angestellt. Höchsttemperaturen außen 17 Grad C. Innenräume feuchtkalt. Mehrere Kommunikationen mit Vermieterin blieben letztlich wirkungslos. Vorzeitig abgereist.-Vermieterin spricht und versteht KEIN Englisch. Anders als in fewo-direkt-Portal aufgeführt (daher google-Translater)-Der im Portal aufgeführte Whirlpool war auch nicht auffindbar.

Ein wundervoller Platz zum Entspannen und Urlauben. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen! Die Raumaufteilung ist sehr ansprechend, die Aufenthaltsräume für 4 Personen ideal. Tolle Küche mit allem Wichtigen und ein gemütlicher Wohn- und Essbereich. Die Lage ist super, fussläufig nah am alten Hafen und der Innenstadt. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen und empfehlen dieses alte aber sehr gemütliche Fischerhäusschen uneingeschränkt. Bei einer PKW Panne hat uns Valerie zudem excellent unterstützt. Alles zusammen wirklich toll!

Découverte de saint Goustan.

Cadre de saint Goustan super. Proximité du golf du Morbihan. Maison fraîche lors des grosses chaleurs , appréciable. Ergonomie à améliorer pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. (rampe d'escalier absente, la douche à l'italienne pourrait être équipée de barres de maintien et où de siège escamotable.)

Huis was fijn en de ligging ook. Maar we waren 2 lampen stuk in de keuken, waarvan 1 bleef knipperen dag en nacht.De eigenaar reageerde niet op deze klacht en heeft het niet opgelost in de week dat wij er waren.Op de site staat niet vermeld over extra kosten, pas 2 dagen voor aankomst kregen we te maken met kosten voor bedlinnen en 1 dag voor vertrek Wilde men schoonmaakkosten in rekening Brengen, niet echt klantvriendelijk.

Situe dans le haut du port de st Goustan, la location est tres bien placé pour decouvrir ce port. Location parfaite pour passer un court sejour. Nous aurions apprécié une petite terrasse pour un plus long sejour.

Great cottage in a very convenient location

Valerie provides an excellent kitchen. All the appliances work perfectly and everything is available to prepare meals. We ate in more than we planned because it is so easy. The location with Port Saint Goustan a few steps from the front door is ideal for a walk. Carnac, Vannes, and Saint Anne d'Auray are less than 30 minutes. It was a pleasure to stay in the "fisherman's" cottage.

Bonjour Valérie, nous avons effectivement passé un trés bon séjour à Auray. La maison est très bien située et équipée, avec du charme en plus. Une remarque (constructive :-)), les oreillers sont peu confortables et le lit superposé trop léger. Il grince et notre fils n'a pas bien dormi. Pour le reste, impeccable.
