About this property

This Melbourne beauty is a true Floridian home in Melbourne Shores on the east coast of Florida. It is a 4 bedroom home with a full kitchen, living room & dining room plus 3 baths. (Ask me about shorter stays). Just out side your living room door you walk into the lanai complete with in ground pool and Floridian wicker furniture. You are surrounded by tropical plants and a fenced in yard offering you complete privacy. Enjoy your coffee or tea in the morning and listen to the birds or sip your wine in the evening surrounded only by the sound of the crickets. 285 Ibis Drive is located in Melbourne Shores in Melbourne Beach. You are a 1/2 block from the bay beach which is a perfect location to watch the sunset and 1 1/2 blocks from the Melbourne Shores private beach for swimming, sunning and surf fishing. Melbourne Shores is a small association of homes with a private beach with access passes and also access to the bay area on the Indian River. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. We have a weekly pool service which takes care of the pool and lawn maintenance as well. Maid service is available if you are interested. It is a wonderful place to visit anytime of the year. We are looking for a minimum stay of 3 months however we may consider a shorter stay. Please get in contact with me and I can answer all of your questions! If you are interested in a stay shorter than what is shown please message me.

Quaint and Relaxing!

Kim & Jay were excellent owners, very easy to work with. The neighborhood was very relaxing and friendly, loved that it’s not a tourist trap. Great area for a relaxing vacation!

Spacious home w/pool in quiet neighborhood.

Well kept property and wonderful owners. Owners were incredibly responsive during our stay. The pool was a big plus and the home has everything you need. The beach is a short walk to the end of the road and the Indian River is right around the corner. A great location if you like to fish, surf, paddle board, or just relax and watch the sunset. Local restaurants and groceries were a plus and gas stations are close in either direction. The Sebastian Inlet is a must and is only a 10 minute drive south. It has some of the best fishing around and a beautiful view of the Atlantic where it meets the Indian River. I would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to have a fun/relaxing vacation.

Why they chose this property

Its a lovely Melbourne home in a quiet beachy neighborhood with easy access to the beach and the bay. Publics grocery market is only a few miles away and there are several restaurants within a couple of miles and many more 15 minutes away. It's a perfect place to enjoy the beach lifestyle and then enjoy a cocktail around the pool in the evening. Vero Beach is 20 minutes away as well as the city of Melbourne within 15 minutes or so.
