About this property

A recently renovated one bedroom cottage in historic Westbrook, a quaint shoreline community on the banks of Long Island Sound, halfway between New York and Boston. This fully furnished cottage features 1 bedroom with queen bed (can be changed to 2 twins), 1 bathroom, living room and eat-in kitchen. Included are satellite TV, WIFI internet, Chromecast for casting from your phone, washer/dryer, and air conditioning. Also included is a beach pass allowing the guest the same beach parking and access privileges that Westbrook residents enjoy.

The cottage is located at The Cabins directly on US Route 1 (1881 Boston Post Road) and within easy access to shops, dining and water activities in the immediate area. Maximum occupancy is 2 persons although pets are always welcome!

Off-season extended stays are negotiable. Stays of 5 weeks or longer always receive a discount - please contact us for more info.

CLEAN COTTAGE

This is a small one bedroom cottage which i found to be clean and well stocked. It's close to grocery, shopping and was the perfect location for my needs. Owner was nice.

We have stayed here before and will keep coming back! The location is very convenient. The cabin was spotless, comfortable and even had some treats in the refrigerator for us. The owner is always responsive and helpful.

Amazing place to stay

We had a wonderful stay! The place was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved how close we were to great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Loved the cottage. It is very clean and in good repair. What is especially notable is the decorative touches. The decor lends to the "coziness" and feeling of being "home". Everything from the floral comforter to the extra blanket and the extra goodies in the refrigerator just added to the welcoming feeling. And it was absolutely immaculate. The owner was enormously helpful and available to answer any questions . I highly recommend this cottage!

Amazing Stay

This place feels like home. It is so cute and cozy but you dont feel squeezed in a box. Plenty of room. Exceptionally clean and host was awesome. Will be coming back for sure.

Convenient and Clean Little Cabin

Definitely recommend this great little cabin. Very tidy and just enough space for a comfortable weekend get away for two. The whole experience was very simple and communication with owner was fantastic! The cabin was spic and span with complimentary refreshments. The only little thing I would suggest is to bring your own pillows as the ones provided were a little flat. We normally always take our own pillows anyway, but forgot them on this trip. Shower was great and kitchen was fully equipped with all the basic needs. Would definitely stay again!

Marriage Anniversary Getaway

The property was super clean and well equipped. Karl is an excellent property owner. He's always available for questions or anything you need. He stopped by the day after we arrived to make sure everything was to our liking. We told him that the bed was very uncomfortable. He immediately replaced the box spring and mattress. I definitely recommend this property

Very clean Cottage. Great Location. But!

We really liked this Cottage. Clean & Quiet. Would have gave it a better review if it wasn't for the Bed. It should have been replaced a while ago. Not comfortable at all. Lots of crackling noises underneath when you moved at all on it. Sofa in living room was just OK. Only place to sit other than two dinette chairs. No outside area to sit. One chair on tiny front porch/stairs Note- add pictures shows a cooler on floor next to washer. There is not one in the unit. I asked the owner about it & he was surprised to hear about it. Offered some Compensation which we have yet to receive.

Girlfriend Weekend Getaway

We were very pleased and very comfortable in our cabin. It was exactly as advertised and pictured and very clean. I especially appreciated the well stocked book shelves! The only (small) suggestion we have is to provide tissues. Other than that, our host thought of everything- and then some! We utilized the list of local sights and restaurants and as a result, enjoyed delicious meals in atmospheric places. I recommend The Cabins without hesitation!

Nice place

Karl was a great host and the cabin is very clean and really well appointed. We had everything we needed for a 5 day stay - it was easy to cook there since all the basics were already there. And we enjoyed our chats with Karl - he is often working somewhere on the property. We recommend it highly.

Connecticut Shore Area
