Great little cottage
This is a charming, New England cottage, located on the owner’s back yard, but you do have privacy. It is very small, but comfortable, so keep that in mind. I had no problem, but my husband is 6’ 2” and had to watch his head entering the front door, but inside he was fine. The bathroom is very small, one person at a time. Full kitchen, nice coffee maker, Smart TV with cable, full size bed (comfortable), sofa (long enough to sleep on), and chair. Sliding glass doors that open to a small deck with a grill and pretty trees. It was nice to open the doors and let out our three dogs to use the yard. It was very peaceful and we loved to see the stars at night and hear the ducks and geese. A short walk to the water and quick drive to main street. Old Saybrook is beautiful.
Absolutely Delightful!
We had planned for a quick getaway from our work in NYC. Such a lovely cottage! There is a perfect little patio that faces the cove. We enjoyed out coffee and tea and were graced with the presence of rabbits and deer. The owner Al was warm and welcoming and gave us fabulous dining recommendations. Overall, it was just what the doctor ordered!
Wonderful weekend in Old Saybrook
The cottage was perfect. Cozy, clean and was a short walk to the marina. The owners are also lovely. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway to Old Saybrook.
Love this cozy cottage!
My husband, dog and I had a wonderful couple days despite inclimate weather staying at this cottage. It is very cozy and comfortable, and in a great location for scenic walks. Al was very responsive to any inquiries and also offered a much later checkout since his next visitors had a delay. We really appreciated that which made for a very relaxed departure. We look forward to staying here again!
Cute little cottage
Great location, friendly and communicative owner and easy check in. The property is a sweet little cottage with everything you need, in a quiet location by the water and close to town. Worth mentioning the bathroom and kitchen are both functional but a bit dated so worth bearing mind if you're fussy about those things! We brought our dogs for the weekend and had a great stay :)
