About this property

Beautiful Cabin for an affordable Getaway!

Our guest reviews speak for themselves! An additional Jacuzzi fee is charged $35 for up to a 3 night stay and $50 for a 4 or 7 night stay. We do require a 3 night minimum over holiday weekends as well as a 5 night minimum over Christmas and New Year. Because of high demand over holidays, a one time $50 premium which will be added to your total. Think of this cabin as a log cabin condominium type set up with 2 cabins attached. They are connected back to back. Both with separate driveways, screen porches(with their own jacuzzi), fire pits, and gas grills. There are 400+ what it acres with trails directly behind the cabin for hiking and snowshoeing.

The Adirondack Mountains offer one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. year round. Whether it be to seek warmth and comfort during the colder months, or to find an awesome vacation destination year round - its here. Fulton County has 44 lakes, and is central to many other great places to visit in the region. Camp Garoga is located in the foothills of the Adirondacks, and offers a great vantage point for exploring all of what upper New York state has to offer. This log cabin setting provides a comfortable place to settle in, with modern amenities but with the rustic charm that only a cabin can offer. A great lodge for a romantic weekend getaway or a vacation week for you and your family.

Enter the cabin to a cozy and charming setting that allows for privacy, romance, and rest. It is a great escape from the hectic pace of life. It is second to none in terms of clean, comfortable, and cozy relaxation.

It has to be clean!!: Camp Garoga is an 'upper-quality' lodge. We strive to maintain a very clean, and allergy-free environment. Therefore, we do not allow pets. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. You will notice that the area has sulfur water and even though it is safe to drink and is very healthy for your skin and hair, Some people don’t like to drink it because of the taste/smell. There is a Brita water filtration container in the refrigerator for fresh drinking water.

Nearly Perfect Quiet, Cozy Cabin

Partner and I had an outstanding three-night stay at the cabin. Very clean and very cozy. Loved the interior decoration. The beds and couches were very comfortable and the jacuzzi made it even more relaxing! Highly, highly recommended for a quiet getaway in this region, with one caveat. Be warned that, for us, the running water (which is well water) smelled strongly of sulfur. It's clean water, but the smell was potent at times. We did not let it impede our time at the property, but it is something to be aware of.

Very nice cabin to relax and stay in.

Very welcoming and clean. Provided a great place to relax. Lots of things to do any season and very close by. Down stairs bed was very firm for my taste but still was able to sleep in it. Cabin and hot tub are just what the doctor ordered for our busy life.

Wonderful cabin, rustic but delightful

This is a wonderful property with marvelous decorating, well equipped, splendid grounds and a terrific host! Chris was a superb host and was easy and quick to communicate with us. Great barbeque grill, well-equipped kitchen, a porch with tremendous views and a magnificent hot tub, comfy furniture, good beds and a living room/fireplace/dining area which is perfect. There is a bit of highway noise, more than I would have thought, and the water from their well is a bit -- ummm -- well-like. The host generously has a large filtered water container in the frig, which is great. Still, the odor might be a bit strong for those who have not ever spent "time in the woods". All in all, a lovely place. Chris is a top-notch host, and his cabins are on a marvelous property in a slice of heaven.

Beautiful cabin

This was a great little cabin get away! Super clean and comfy with everything you need. We loved the hot tub. We brought our kayaks with us and enjoyed the nearby lakes. Canada lake was our favorite and the hike to Kane mountain was amazing. We ate at Miss Johnstown diner and at Sam’s steak house. Both were great! The only down side of the cabin is it is close to the road. Inside the cabin you do not hear the road traffic but you do on the porch. Also, as the owner stated the water does have a sulfur smell to it. We brought water with us for cooking and coffee. Highly recommend this sweet cabin for a getaway.

Hidden cabin

It’s was great, loved the hot tube. The tv is in a good location and couches are comfortable. Cute dinning area, great for a getaway in the winter. Overall a great vintage cabin, which is a bit hidden in the woods. Get the feeling of being surrounded by natural. I enjoyed watching horror movies as the sun started to set, enjoy the hot tube during the day in the cold, so relaxing! The cabin also have a full kitchen, great to make any kind of food you want. It’s also big, great to go with friends or a spouse.

Cozy log cabin

The presentation of the cabin is perfect down to every single detail. The jacuzzi was an extra touch to add it to the whole experience. Our biggest complain was the water (both hot and cold) had rather unpleasant odor. I would highly recommend bringing water from the outside for drinking, cooking and such. We mostly ate out as that was our intention.

A Step into a Home Magazine

Rustic, clean, organized, well equipped and cabin Adirondack style all describes this beautiful get away. Thankfully the property manager was in contact with me because somehow VRBO had 3 different names on the account, causing the property manager to be suspicious of me while 2 hours away out of 5 1/2 hours of travel. We were able to get over the hurdle and safely arrive at the property. I highly recommend this beautiful cabin in the woods! 💗

Why they chose this property

IT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE because we offer so much more!

With hotels being choked out by state and federal regulations, they are being forced to add ridiculously high "taxes and fees" ON TOP of your quoted nightly price. They're delightfully calling it a hospitality tax. Laymen refer to it as a bed tax, but logic knows it as a business killer. So why stay at a local hotel with a single room? For just a few dollars more per night you can make your business trip or weekend getaway so much more memorable in one of my cabins.
