This was a fantastic home. I recommend it for a family staying in the Yosemite area. It was perfect for our older children to keep themselves busy after a day of hiking. I highly recommend this home. Eileen was phenomenal and always available.
From start to finished best communication I ve ever had with a vacation home, owners are awesome.
Home itself is outstanding and so relaxing. We ll be back
Great home with everything we needed. Communication was great with Eileen and Wayne. The rec room with pool table and ping pong table was very enjoyable. Our family would love to stay here again.
Everyone in our group was very pleased with our stay at Cozy Oaks. We were surprised by the large deck area and lovely landscaping. Inside was plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. Have stayed at lots of VRBO homes and this is near the top of the list.
We had a great time. The house is lovely and well equiped. The location is great for exploring Yosemite being roughly equal distance between the west and southern park entrances. We made several day trips into the park over our week long stay. One $35 entrance ticket is valid for 7 days. We walked the west valley loop, climbed Sentinel Point, saw the giant sequoia trees, and went riding at Wawona Stables. All highly recommended. Nearby Mariposa has a large supermarket as well as many good resteraurants. The Mining and Mineral museum in Mariposa is also worth visiting. Weather was great. Overall a fantastic family holiday. Recommended.
Wow, this house is so great. There is plenty of space for everyone. The primary bedroom is on the first floor, with the other two main bedrooms upstairs. Lovely FULLY appointed kitchen, great space to hang out, and beautiful surroundings. The family room has a huge couch, with plenty of space for the whole family to relax comfortably. We were visiting my nephew and his family and they joined us for dinner--everyone had plenty of space (dinner for 8 easily accommodated). My great nephew LOVED all of the toys, especially a very extensive Brio train collection. The rec room was so much fun! Our boys (all adults) spent hours playing pool and ping pong. Beautiful deck, the hot tub is lovely, and lots and lots of games (although we didn't have time to enjoy). Everything in the house is labeled, taking all the guesswork out of, "how do I turn that light on?" The location is exceptional, close to downtown Mariposa as well as Yosemite. This place simply felt like a home. Wish we could have stayed longer!
This house has forever raised the bar of VRBOs! The house was spotless too, and not just on the surface (for example, the area under the kitchen sink is even clean!). So clean and organized! The best stay and an unbelievable value!!
A clean, comfortable, and well organized house! The house is bright and cheery the moment you walk in. After a long drive the welcome basket a goodies was a treat! Plenty of places to sit inside and outside the house whether on the large comfortable L shaped couch in the living room, to chairs and stools by the pool and ping pong tables to tables and chairs on the outside wrap around deck as well as benches at the hot tub. Plenty of books, DVDs and board games to interest people of all ages. (Although we didn't bring little ones they also have a whole closet full of toys for the wee ones) All light and fan switches, drawers, cupboards and shelves have labels to make finding items or putting them away easy. Cooking was a joy in this kitchen; all the necessary items and a knife sharpener too for those who want a sharp knife for chopping veggies. Clean, modern fridge, stove, and oven. They even had aprons which we like to use. Plenty of kitchen towels as we prefer washing and drying the dishes ourselves. The jacuzzi was clean and thankfully there was a net for cleaning if any leaves happened to drift in. The pool and pinpong room were inviting and if you have little ones a table and games for them was located here too. A book of instructions on how to operate the tvs and dvd was helpful as well. Little things like having a box of tissues, enough Toilet Paper and paper towels as well as sandwich bags to pack food in for our hikes/outings made it feel like home. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable week is at this house!
Everything is exactly as it is described. Enjoyed having the space and the quiet. A bit of a drive to Yosemite but all part of the process and worth the drive.
Everything about our stay was great! The house/property was wonderful and Eileen was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Everything you could need is in the house and instructions about how to work everything (tv/hot tub/games etc) are provided and very clear. Hoping to stay again if we make it back to the area!
Probably the most well thought out property we’ve ever stayed in! Photos don’t do it justice. Cozy yet spacious, lots of outdoor patio deck space. Well stocked kitchen. About 10 min drive along beautiful country roads into Mariposa, then an hour into Yosemite valley (off season). The game room was the main reason we booked it (to keep the teens entertained) but the entire house was better than expected. The owner was super accessible too. Thank you for creating a wonderful space.
Stayed here with the family for the kids' spring break. Two-day trips to Yosemite, easy to get in and out the park. One Escape room experience in town and two dinners out with some ice cream in between. Getting to town is an easy 15 minute drive, Yosemite was about 45 mins to the park entrance. The house was fantastic with everything you could want and more. Plenty of room for a family of five, easy to find kitchen supplies and everything worked. It even had Wi-Fi and dish so I could catch a March madness game. Very quiet place to stay, would definitely stay again.
I loved everything about the house. Drawers and cabinets were neatly labeled. Lots of toys and games for the kids. Everything was clean and organized. We definitely try to stay here again when we go to Mariposa.
We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage. On the days we didn’t go into Yosemite there was plenty to keep us all entertained. We played board games, did puzzles, enjoyed the hot tub, and taught our kids how to play pool. The beds were comfortable and water pressure was awesome-little things that made us feel right at home!
Whether you want to visit the national parks or just escape from the city, this place provided everything for the perfect relaxing and enjoyable getaway
Pictures listed online did no justice for the amazing views and magnificent house that we stayed at! Our host/owner of property, Eileen, was wonderful, accommodating and extremely helpful!
I would recommend this home to anyone!!
Amazing property! Comfortable in every way.
Close to both the south and valley entrances of Yosemite. Mariposa is a quaint and friendly town. We loved our stay.
Great spaces and amenities! Great deck and table outside, bbq, lots of books and games, ping pong, pool table, hot tub, everything you could want and a very reasonable checkin/checkout procedure. Would recommend!
Eileen was so helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The home is so well stocked and perfect place to relax after a long day in Yosemite. We all had a place and absolutely will come back. Thank you so much Eileen!!
We had a really good time at this property. Eileen was an outstanding property manager. She was very flexible and answered all my questions quickly. The property had a very wide variety of games, puzzles, etc. The highlights were seeing deer just outside the property a couple of times, the hot tub, the landscape/flowers and the pool and ping pong tables. Also, Everything was perfectly organized and labeled. We had everything we needed. A few areas of the house might need some updating but this was not a big deal at all. Thanks Eileen for a great stay!
Very clean, easy to find everything.
Good proximity to Mariposa but certainly not walking distance.
A little far from Yosemite but very quiet and comfortable with all of the amenities
Beautiful spacious home in a lovely quiet rural area. The house has everything you could need and want including a table tennis and pool table, three coffee machines and a large fridge. The place has great views from the kitchen, a large balcony for out door dining and a large lounge and comfortable couch to relax in. A great place that I would highly recommend.
The house is very clean and organized. Me and my friends enjoyed our stay very much. Property Manager is very quick in responding to all our questions related to the property. We will definitely come back :)
Thumbs up !!!
