We truly enjoyed our whole 11 day stay! We spent days out and about but several days just hanging out at condo and enjoying the view, pool and balcony! There is no A/C and it does get a bit warm in there during late afternoons but overall it wasn’t too bad. We slept with just a sheet as it remained warm. There are two fans but they didn’t bring in the cool outside ocean air. The only thing I didn’t not like was the lack of beach and/or ocean access. It was very large sand bags that took away from esthetics and beach vibe. We had to drive to a beach. However, there were multiple sea turtles near the sand bags every day!!!

Spacious rooms!

Our party was two adults and a toddler and the crib fit great in the west facing room. There is an internal window only in the bathroom but it wasn't an issue as we had all windows open the whole time and the breeze made the unit very comfortable. Spacious balcony and great ocean views from both sides. No beach access (for swimming) but the pool is nice and there are beaches within a short distance. Also there are two beach chairs and a cooler available, which we appreciated. Would recommend!

(*) I agree with the many five star reviews but, be aware that the elevator on tower "B" is an issue. First clue was the bouncing and creaking of the elevator when you step in. Second clue was the sign in the elevator that states "Don't panic" and lists what to do if you get stuck. Although management was quick to post a sign that the barbecues were not functioning. The day the elevator stopped working nothing was posted. This meant you stand there wondering if it's coming and afterwards, you stand there wondering if it had been fixed. It was not working for several hours. I told several parties who were waiting with beach gear in tow that they had to take the stairs. One party had a senior disabled father who they had to assist up 4 flights of stairs. Something to consider if you have a similar issue with climbing stairs.

We had a great stay in B404. It was bigger than we expected and the views were amazing. Washer/dryer was very helpful, especially with 2 kids. No AC, as listed, but it was fine if you keep windows open, fans going, and close blinds in the afternoon to beat the sun. The pool was great, and the beach was accessible for us - which was perfect - we didn’t even have to leave! We would definitely stay in this unit again. Thank you!!

Great but I will caveat a few things

I think the location, unit, building are great for the price. Decor is cute/on theme. Cannot be beat whatsoever. HOWEVER, there are a few things I wish I knew ahead of time & that the description was more clear. 1) I messaged through VRBO multiple times before the trip to confirm the trip was still happening. Got no response whatsoever. 2) If you look at satellite maps for this location, you'll see that there are huge sand bags on the beach because of erosion. Just kind of a bummer. Not the building's fault or anything but you're not going to get a glorious beach here like a napili or ka'anapali, but I guess the price reflects that. There's a small beach and it's very quiet, which is nice. 3) The unit didn't really have doors inside? The loft room had a sliding rattan screen on one side and a sliding door with slits on the other. The "master" bedroom had a sliding door with slits (louvered) and all the bathrooms had similar doors, so there was very little privacy. Smells & sounds can get through too easily. 4) Parking can be very tight in the basement, so choose your rental car wisely! Every parking incident was an exercise in precision. We had a large SUV and we had to be very careful. 5) If a neighbor below is smoking on their lanai, the smell wafts up into your rooms. This is tricky when the whole point is to get an ocean breeze and there's no AC. 6) Not many bowls. Everything else was stocked very well in the kitchen. 7) Wifi didn't work in the master bedroom, was too far On the plus side... 1) The unit had 2 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and a cooler. Very handy! 2) Elevators are slow but never felt that busy. Stairs are also just right there. 3) Sunsets/sunrises were amazing!

The view and location are amazing

The view from the unit is stunning. It has a large lanai off the living room and front bedroom and the second back bedroom has a full size window/view as well, with each room having it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and BBQ. The washer and dryer was key with the longer stay. The condo was clean and comfortable for 2 couples, although the front bedroom doesn't have traditional doors on it, so it's a little less private. We love the Kahana location as it's central to all our favorite snorkeling and boogie boarding on that side of the island. We definitely needed our rental car to get to all the various spots. The condo has an assigned parking spot, very helpful. We enjoyed coffee and happy hour on the lanai with humpback whale and turtle sightings throughout the day. We also very much appreciated the 2 beach chairs and beach umbrella, thank you! There is a rolling cooler if you need one. The ONLY drawback we experienced were the pillows. Clearly not a big issue given how amazing the place is, but if the owners are looking for easy upgrade, this might be helpful. We would've loved to stay again, but unfortunately, the prices for 2023 are not in our budget. Thank you owners for sharing your condo with us, we were sad to leave, but feel grateful for the time we had.

Great Spot

We spent 10 days, 11 nights here. Location is very good, building is definitely on the older side (nothing can be done about that) but the inside of the unit was updated and upgraded. Views were incredible, with turtle spotting's daily , only thing that was not in the unit was coffee filters
